What did her sister just say? Drug Lu Shaoting?

Her sister rolled her eyes at her. "Are you an idiot? That's something you should have done on your first date."

"With sleeping pills?" Yan Xue asked. Perhaps her sister meant that she should make him fall asleep and pretend that they had done something together?

"With aphrodisiac."

"..."

"You have to make it several times stronger so that he can lose consciousness after one or two sips. Men from the Lu family are too attentive. He might realize what you did immediately after tasting it. "

Although she felt her sister's advice was shameless, Yan Xue listened to her and went to have her hair done. After hours of make up and styling, she finally stepped out in a maroon dress. Not minding the discomfort she was recieving from her showy dress and thick makeup, she walked out of the house with Lu Shaoting when he arrived.

When he started driving, she noticed that he gazed at her chest for a second and she blushed. Her sister was right! He was a man after all. He couldn't resist the temptation of beauty. She adjusted her sitting position a little to 'accidentally' give him a better view.

If she were a little more attentive, however, she would have noticed that the expression on his face for that one second was neither admiration nor lust. It was disgust.

That was right. He felt repulsed.

Unconciously, he had compared her showy look to Su Ling's showy look. He felt that Su Ling could look seductive even without trying hard. That was mainly because he liked her and would find her pretty in anything. Yan Xue on the other hand, had dressed up like a temptress on purpose. Although she was very beautiful and had a very tempting body, the dress she was wearing did not suit her. She was more suited to duller colors and lighter make up. Not only did the thick makeup make her look very fake, her strong perfume disgusted him. It was nothing like Su Ling's sweet jasmine scent...

Amid his train of comparison, they arrived at the restaurant.

They walked into the private room he had booked. He was not in the mood to talk about anything and simply passed her the menu.

Yan Xue ordered a few meals and a bottle of wine. When the meal was served, she felt for her purse. Inside was the drug she had been given by her sister. She had to distract him...

She had the best idea. Her phone was inside her purse but luckily she had not taken it out.

She waited for Lu Shaoting to pour himself a glass of wine before she looked at him innocently. "Shaoting, I forgot to give a call to my sister. I can't see my phone, I must have dropped it on the car seat. Do you mind helping me get it?"

Lu Shaoting frowned. "You can use mine."

She shook her head quickly. "My sister may not recieve a foreign call."

Although he felt something was strange, he still went to bring her phone.

Yan Xue switched off her phone and put it back in her purse. Then she quickly took out the pills, dropped them in his wine and sat back down innocently. The pills should dissolve very fast. Luckily she had bought herself enough time because he would try to look for her phone.

A few minutes later, he came back. She spoke before he did. "Shaoting, I'm sorry for having troubled you. I found my phone just now. It was in my purse. I'm really sorry."
