Unbeknownst to her, Tyler was very uneasy. They were still in his car.

He wanted to find an excuse and evade this matter but he couldn't find one that was good enough. Would he really have to do this?

It was not that he did not want to marry her, he just felt it was not the right time to tell her some things...for example his real identity, and she would definitely see his name if they were to get a marriage certificate.

He was about to speak when his phone rang. Ruolin was calling. He secretly smiled. Luckily she had caught his signal.

"Why is that woman calling?" Yun Xuan took his phone and wanted to hung up.

"Wait, honey, it could be important." He took it back in alarm and answered it. He deliberately put the phone on speaker.

"Tyler, this is an order from Boss Five. All of us are to report to the headquaters within five minutes." Ruolin sounded very anxious.

"Five minutes? Is Five crazy? I'm one hour away. Even if I rushed over at a nauseating speed, I would take at least fifteen to twenty minutes!" He exclaimed.

"Then you should stop protesting and leave right now. The clock's ticking." Ruolin said and hung up.

Tyler secretly smiled. She had understood his hint....she was a life saver.

He turned to look at Yun Xuan who had been listening to their conversation and was now sad. He looked like he was helpless.

"Are you going to say that something came up at work and you should rush over?"

He held her cheek and kissed her. "I'm sorry darling, I really should."

Yun Xuan's eyes were filled with pain. "Tyler, if something happened when you were in the middle of saying our wedding vows, would you run off to work?"

"Darling, our first rule is that no matter where we are and what we are doing, we must rush over as soon as possible if our superiors summon us. Boss Five is especially hard to deal with. He is known for calling us at the most odd times and having us rush over in five minutes. But darling, this will not happen forever. I'm very close to accomplishing my requirement for promotion."

Yun Xuan was not interested in his work maters. "Go ahead. Just..." she wanted to break up with him right there but she couldn't bear to. She chose the life of dating such a man herself. What did she expect when she fell in love with him?

"Darling, when I come back, we will definitely get married." He hugged her tightly.

Yun Xuan's shattered hope returned and she smiled. She thought that he would be gone for just a few hours but if only knew how long he was planning to be away...

The little girl guiltily looked at her father. Her big eyes shone with tears threatening to fall.

"Daddy..."

Lu Aotian looked at his daughter who had been pretending to be asleep. "Princess, you broke your promise."

She rubbed her teary eyes. Was her daddy going to punish her?

Well, if he did, his heart would ache. He couldn't bear to do something that might make her sad.

"Little Jia is a bad girl." He said seriously.

The little girl cried. "Daddy, Little Jia is a good girl."

"Nope. Good girls don't break their promises and they love their daddies."

"But I love my daddy very much. I'm a good girl."

"You will only be a good girl if you don't break your promises."

The next day, all the kids in class avoided Little Jia. They were scared of her.

Little Jia even overhead one kid speaking to Shen Yue. "Are you still sitting next to Lu Meili and playing with her? She will hit you so hard that you will fall and have blood everywhere."

Shen Yue shook her head. "Lu Meili is my friend. She will not hit me."

"She will! My brother said that she is dangerous and I should stay away from her."

"That's right. If you play with Lu Meili, we will not play with you anymore."

Shen Yue was just a child herself. When she heard that her other friends would avoid her for playing with Little Jia, she in fact considered not talking to her anymore.

When Little Jia heard them, she did not know why but she had the impulse to hit each one of those kids. How dare they call her scary? Which eye of theirs saw her scare anyone away? She was obviously a lovely little girl. The worst part was that they were bullying her friend. How could she tolerate this?
