Wait, that was not the point. His name was Qin Zhan? His surname was Qin?

If this was any other time, she would take it as merely a coincidence but after seeing Qin Zhifan leave the apartment where he was...there had to be some sort of relationship between them.

But Qin Zhifan didn't have any brother. Who was Qin Zhan then?

Weak and lost in thought, she accidentally knocked her knee against the door.

Ruolin looked over immediately. Tyler was not too shocked when he saw her. Of course he knew that she had been following him. He thought that the security guards would never let her in but since they did...

"Darling..." he tried to mask his alarm. Perhaps she had just arrived and didn't hear anything?

Yun Xuan felt the hair on her skin rise in terror when she saw his smile. Why did she find it creepy?

When Tyler saw her horrified expression, he knew that she must have heard something.

"Darling, whatever you heard, I can explain." He shot Ruolin a look.

"I will let you clear the air with my sister-in-law. I have something more important to deal with." With an apologetic glance towards Tyler, she left.

Tyler looked at his wife, wondering what she had heard and what he should explain. It would be better if he didn't have to spill everything. That would be too much information for her to take in.

"Darling, I..."

Yun Xuan glared at him. "Cut the crap. I want to hear the truth. Why are you with me?"

Tyler knew that no amount of explanation would be able to convince her, but he still tried.

"If I didn't love you, I wouldn't be with you now." He would have left her ages ago. It's only because he couldn't bear to leave her that they were still together.

Yun Xuan found it laughable. She sneered. "You really want me to believe that you are with me? This is a fake marriage, isn't it?"

Tyler reached to hold her hand. "It's not."

Yun Xuan pushed his hand away and took out his so called marriage booklet. "Who on earth is Tyler Willows? I married an alias? How could I be so dumb?" She was fighting back her tears as she spoke.

"What you have is fake. But this..." he rummaged through his own luggage and took out two booklets.

They were marriage licenses with the name Qin Zhan.

"I just didn't want you to know my name, but I really married you. I'm your husband."

Yun Xuan felt as though she had just experienced a roller coaster. So the marriage wasn't actually fake.

For a while, she was so stunned that she forgot all about the questions she wanted to ask him. She knew that she was being stupid but what could she do now that they were really married? File for a divorce?

Tyler cupped her cheek. "I know you have many questions, but I will miss my flight if I delay any longer. Let's talk about it in a week, okay?"

"I was going to follow you to wherever you are going. Why are you so mysterious?"

"I can't let you do that. I've told you countless times that it's dangerous. Be good."

Ruolin was waiting for Tyler at their usual secret place. "Did you tell her everything?"

"Damn you Wang Ruolin! You almost ruined everything!"

What was wrong with this Ruolin? She had almost doomed his marriage.

"What about me? Didn't you say that she is already useless? I in fact helped you out. It's high time you left that woman and started dealing with people who will be of help."

"You don't understand a thing so stay out of my business, alright?"

"Qin Zhan, you have changed a lot. Do you want our son to grow up knowing that his parents are in bad terms?"

That was right. Qin Zhuo'an, Tyler's little son, was Ruolin's son. He had been staying with his mother and Tyler often went over to see him. Every time Ruolin left for a mission, she would leave him in his great grandmother's care. The old lady liked the boy a lot and took good care of him.

Today, Yun Xuan did not meet the little lad because Ruolin had taken him to Grandma Wang's house the previous evening.

If Yun Xuan were to find out why the old lady was so friendly to her despite knowing about the former relationship between Tyler and Ruolin, perhaps she would be shocked to death.

"Don't even try to guilt-trip me using my son. I haven't taken him away from you only because of the gratitude I hold towards Grandma. If not, he wouldn't know you exist."

In actual fact, it was only because the situation with the Yun family was still unstable. As soon as he was done with them, he would take back his son and raise him with Yun Xuan. Luckily, they had talked about this before and as long as Qin Zhuo'an was well behaved and his biological mother did not trouble them, Yun Xuan did not mind raising a child that was born by another woman.

Ruolin was still angry. "I helped you make the act believable with Yun Xuan. Have you forgotten about all that? You want to shove me aside? Are you really in love with her?"

"Ruolin! I said it's none of your business. Can you freaking shut up?"

He was finding her more annoying by the minute. Whatever, all that mattered to him was that he would come back after a week and explain everything to his wife. He hoped she would forgive him for using her.
