Wan Jia looked at her daughter and picked her up. "Why is my baby sad?"

"Mommy is leaving Little Jia alone. Is it because Mommy doesn't love Little Jia anymore?"

"That's not right. I love my baby the most."

The little girl turned cheerful faster than the flip of a page. "Then mommy is definitely not leaving, right?"

"Eer..."

This was part of her work. However, how could she leave her baby when she was crying so heartbrokenly? She sat on the sofa with Little Jia still in her arms and called Lu Aotian. He was still in his office and would directly go to the banquet later.

"Can you attend the banquet alone?"

"What happened?" the man asked in a concerned tone.

"Little Jia feels sad and wants me to stay with her."

Lu Aotian was silent for a while. His daughter sure was sticking to her mother more and more. It was not that Wan Jia was spending less time with her; it was just that she wanted more attention. "Why don't you dress her up and bring her along? If she doesn't want that either, then you can stay at home."

"Bring her to a banquet?"

"Why not? I will have children's food prepared for her. Besides, we will only make a short appearance and won't stay to the end."

Wan Jia turned to ask for the little girl's opinion. "Baby, do you want to go with mommy?"

At the end of the day, the mother and daughter left the house together.

In less than an hour, they had arrived at Emerald Grand Hotel.

Everyone saw the black Bugatti come to a stop. Their first reaction was; President Lu is here!

But when a bodyguard opened the back door, a fair pair of breath taking legs in diamond heels stepped out, followed by their beautiful owner in her purple gown. Next, she helped out a little adorable four year old girl. She was wearing a pink dress and had a pair of long pigtails. To complete her adorable looks, she was hugging a white stuffed koala.

"Wow, it's the lady boss."

"I'm so jealous of President Lu. How could he get such a beautiful wife? Is the little girl the rumored Miss Lu?"

"She's so cute. I thought she was just a rumor."

"Is it too early to match make my son with the little miss?"

Before Wan Jia and Little Jia went in, Lu Aotian arrived too.

The family of three went in together. Lu Aotian carried his daughter in one arm and held Wan Jia's hand with the other. They received looks of awe and envy from all the employees.

"I just peered over so I could see a beauty leave her car. Why do they have to throw their affection right into my face?" a certain male employee complained in a low voice. Of course he wouldn't let Lu Aotian hear him.

"You deserve it for taking advantage of President Lu's lateness to admire the lady boss."

When they entered the hall, Lu Aotian took his wife and daughter to the best reserved seats.

Since Wan Jia's alcohol tolerance was still low, she and Little Jia were brought glasses of milk. She shot an unpleased glance at her husband. Milk? Did he think she was a baby? Low tolerance didn't mean she couldn't take any wine, okay?

When Lu Aotian saw her glance, he helped her order orange juice which she looked at in disdain but still drank.

Once in a while, a few people would walk up to her to give a toast. She stopped taking juice and took a small sip of wine for each toast. Two wineglasses later, she started feeling a little light headed and excused herself to go to the restroom.

When she was washing her hands, she heard a bang from inside one of the cubicles and out of it stumbled a man.

She widened her eyes in suspicion. Why was there a man in the women's restroom? It would be excused if he went the wrong way, but after going in, wasn't it quite obvious that he was in the women's restroom? He still went into the cubicles! What a pervert.

She dried her hands quickly to leave. It wouldn't be nice if she remained in the same breathing space as a pervert. If he happened to be drunk, it would be even more dangerous.

"Tsk, all I had to do is enter the wrong restroom to meet such a beauty? It must be my lucky day." The pervert scanned his lecherous eyes over Wan Jia.

Wan Jia felt disgusted by is look. She headed towards the door. However, the man rushed to lock it from inside. He stood against it to block her path. "Why are you running away? Do you think I'm dangerous?"

Wan Jia glared at him. "Good dogs don't block the way."

The pervert wasn't put off by her glare. "How about we have a few drinks? Then we can book a hotel room right in this hotel for fun."

Wan Jia found him more disgusting. She was yet to speak when the man tried to hold her hand.

"You can't run away even if you want to."
