When the joke was no longer funny, footsteps were heard from the stairs. Everyone except Lin Lihua knew who it was. Actually, Lin Lihua found those footsteps familiar too and her cheeks involuntarily flushed a little. When she looked in that direction, what she saw made her awe-struck.

If Lu Aotian could be described as the cool handsome man with eyes that kept people a distance away from him, Henry Blanc would be considered the charmer. His blue eyes were like a vortex, making Lin Lihua subconsciously want to look at them a little more.

Of course, every other woman here only had eyes for her own man. If not, they would be charmed by Henry Blanc as well.

The man sat naturally beside Lin Lihua. They were now accurately paired. He beamed a seductive smile at her. "Queen Lihua, ma reine, we meet again; I told you it was fate."

Lin Lihua looked at him speechlessly. What fate? Unless I got the meaning of that word wrong all my life and fate actually means this group of matchmakers?

She didn't know why, but she felt he was a little annoying but every time she didn't him, she would feel as though something was missing. Right now, all she wanted was to kick him away. Why in the world was he following her around?

After their meal, the group was still drowned in discussion. It was Kara's first time meeting Lin Lihua, Henry Blanc and Su Ling but they looked like they had known each other for decades. After a while, the women started talking about girly topics like which designer made the best shoes this year, which brand produced the most famous clothes, babies and how cute they could be and even drifted off to business matters for a while.

The men were deeply into business and were currently discussing project collaboration among Xu Real Estate, Le Blanc Group and Lu Enterprises. They were all CEOs of their companies (except Lu Shaoting who was the Vice President) and could make decisions even at such a gathering.

Lu Shaoting got bored. "Why don't we play a game? This is one friendship gathering but it looks like two of them."

"What game can we play?" Henry Blanc asked.

"Is it not obvious? Truth or dare!"

"You're crazy." Lu Aotian had never played such a game before. He considered it childish.

"Bro, don't be such a party pooper. The ladies like it. Don't you, beauties?"

"Of course." They said in unison.

Seeing that everyone wanted to play, Lu Aotian had nothing else to say.

In a short while, some cards were brought and they started playing. They were all hearts and aces. They would be flipped randomly and a pair of people would be asked to pick them. To pick a heart would be to win and to pick an ace would be to lose. The ace would choose to either answer a question or do a dare. The back out punishment would be decided by the winner.

The game began.

In the first round, Lu Shaoting played against Henry Blanc. Henry Blanc lost and chose a truth.

"What's the name of your wife?" Lu Shaoting asked.

Everyone knew he was trying to help Henry Blanc out. The man smiled charmingly and answered. "I am not married yet, but I have my eyes for someone."

At first everyone who played against Henry Blanc would ask him a question that would make Lin Lihua's impression of him better.

After a while, crazy questions and dares started popping up

"How old were you when you had your fist time?"

"Who did you share your first kiss with?"

When Lu Aotian lost, Lu Shaoting asked a very terrifying question. "Who was the first woman you slept with?"

Lu Aotian glared at him. What sort of question was that?

When Wan Jia saw his glare, she knew what the answer was- his first girlfriend. It was supposed to make her uncomfortable but it was in the past so she felt nothing.

Lu Shaoting felt frightened. Had he taken it too far? Oh God, he had done something he shouldn't have.

Sure enough, Lu Aotian retaliated. "What's the name of the first woman you fell in love with? Either answer that or drink five glasses of wine."

Lu Shaoting looked wronged. Bro, how could you?

Lu Aotian's expression was one that said, for trying to sow discord between me and my wife, I will do the same for you and your best friend.

When Lu Shaoting gulped down the glasses of wine, Kara had a complicated expression. Su Ling isn't his first love? Then his first love was…don't tell me…

Xu Liaowen wasn't too pleased by his wife's expression. Why was she so concerned about Lu Shaoting's love life? Even his own girlfriend didn't look shocked!

After the awkward interlude, the game continued.

"What's your favorite place to do 'that'?" That was Lin Lihua's question to Wan Jia.

"Hey, do you have something against me?" Wan Jia was so embarrassed. How could she answer such a question?

Lin Lihua didn't let her off. "If you can't say it, drink one glass of wine. Not a drop less."

She only let her off because of her low tolerance.

When Lin Lihua was fairly drunk from taking so much wine, Henry Blanc asked her. "How old are you?"

"Old enough to marry you." She answered in her drunken stupor.
