While Lu Shaoting complained about his brother being weird, Lu Aotian wasn't the only one being mysterious. "Lai Shuangshuang" was trying her best to be close to Wan Jia. She would bring specialties from her hometown because she was Wan Jia's fan and when Wan Jia asked her where her hometown was, she stuttered for long before answering.

Wan Jia decided to investigate her and the results stunned her. The real Lai Shuangshuang had run away from home without a trace to work in the capital. That home wasn't even the place "Lai Shuangshuang" had mentioned to begin with. The craziest fact was that when Wan Jia had someone show them a photo of "Lai Shuangshuang", they said that she merely resembled their daughter.

To test her, Wan Jia invited her for lunch. After placing her order, she went to use the restroom and came back when the meals had already been served. While they ate, she asked her, "Lai Shuangshuang, why did you run away from home?"

The woman didn't understand. "Run away from home? Why would I do that?"

Wan Jia knew her investigation was right. "You really didn't run away from home?"

Miss poisonous found her strange. Why would she ask that? Could it be that the real Lai Shuangshuang ran away from home? That damn girl! Why didn't she tell her? "Sister Wan, you won't judge me, right?"

She looked like she wanted to confide in Wan Jia.

Wan Jia chuckled. "You want to play fake identity games with me? I'm the grandmaster in this game." Her voice and expression turned as cold as the temperature outside. "You are not Lai Shuangshuang. Tell me, who are you?"

Miss Poisonous was stunned. Crap! She had been found out so soon! She smiled innocently like a pure white lotus. "Sister Wan, what are you talking about? I'm Lai Shuangshuang."

Wan Jia humphed. "Whatever your name is, I'll be generous enough to give you a last chance. Something brought you to Elite Fashion World. What is it?"

Lai Shuangshuang stuck to her answers. "I was looking for a job and I found one as an assistant. Sister Wan, is something wrong?"

"You won't confess until you see the coffin, huh?" Wan Jia took the glass of juice prepared for her and pushed it towards her. "Do you want to have a taste?"

"S-sister Wan…"

"Does your job scope include adding pills into people's drinks?"

Miss Poisonous really wanted to strangle herself. When Wan Jia called her for lunch, she didn't know it was because she was under suspicion. She took it as a heaven-sent chance to complete her mission. Little did she know…

"Since you didn't appreciate my chance to explain to me, why don't you explain to the police instead?" as soon as she finished speaking, she tapped on her phone screen and three policemen entered.

Miss Poisonous panicked. "Wan Jia, I can explain. It's not what you think! That pill is…"

The police had already arrived. Miss Poisonous didn't expect that Wan Jia would have come prepared. She was taken unawares. She tried to send a message of help but it was too late. Her phone was taken away by Wan Jia. "They have all the time to listen to your lies."

"Wan Jia, you can't do this. I'm your…"

Wan Jia who was walking away stopped. "My what?"

Miss Poisonous hung her head. It's not like Wan Jia would believe her. Even worse was: one policeman grabbed the juice to take to the lab. She wanted to snatch it back but the glass slipped instead and shattered on the floor, all the contents pouring down.

"No…" Miss Poisonous cried. That was the only pill of its type. It was now gone just like that. She wasn't in the mood to argue anymore. She let the officers drag her away.

Wan Jia felt it was strange. Why would someone try to poison her? Just how many enemies did she have?

As soon as Miss Poisonous was taken away, a lackey made a phone call.

"Boss, Miss Poisonous has been discovered."

"What? Was it Lu Aotian?"

"It seems to be Miss Wan Jia. She just had her arrested."

"What about the pill?"

"She put it in Miss Wan Jia's juice but the juice was poured. I didn't dare to step up because it would be better if only one of us was caught."

"Damn it! It wasn't easy to make that pill." The man hung up in frustration.

In Country V, the man rushed to his father angrily. "Poisonous has been caught. Don't anybody dare to stop me from going to Country C now."

"Preposterous! Qian Li, do you want to die?"

"Poisonous survived for so long, and the person who caught her isn't even Lu Aotian. Why can't I survive?"

He sighed at his father who was getting angrier by the second. "Father, if I don't go, Wan Jia won't be the only one you lose. I have to help Poisonous escape before they uncover her identity."

Without waiting for his father to respond, he left the room and made a phone call. "Book me the next flight to Country C."
