When Lu Shaoting left Lu Aotian's office, he asked his girlfriend out. They decided to go for a movie in the evening.

That evening, Su Ling dolled herself up before leaving her apartment. After working for Wan Jia for months, she was able to afford better living conditions and therefore rented a better apartment with tighter security. Of course, she rejected Lu Shaoting's wish to buy her a house. Although she wanted to live in luxury, she wanted to do so using her own money. She was not married to Lu Shaoting yet and didn't deserve such a privilege.

Like every other boyfriend, Lu Shaoting booked the tickets and went off to buy popcorn and drinks for his girlfriend. Other women could only look at him and sigh in envy. The woman who could make Lu Shaoting line up to buy poporn must be riding on a long streak of luck.

The movie they were watching today was a new thriller by a certain local actress. Her acting was not bad but since Su Ling became Lin Lihua's fan, she would subconsciously compare other actresses to Lin Lihua. It wasn't a surprise that she found the female lead's acting rather lacking.

"If you don't like the movie, we can go somewhere else." Lu Shaoting whispered in her ear. He was fast to notice that she wasn't particularly pleased.

"The movie is good. The lead actress is just…a bit inexperienced."

Lu Shaoting shook his head. "You fans of Lin Lihua have such high standards."

"What do you expect? Our movie queen is indeed a queen. She holds the highest number of awards. Her record is supreme. Don't forget that if she wins the title of Movie Queen this year, it will be a ten year streak. Are you sure you want to compare her to other actresses?"

Lu Shaoting took a popcorn and shoved it in his mouth, his face revealing a pained expression. "If you worship her too much, Henry Blanc will have a word with you."

Su Ling giggled. "Are you sure you're not the jealous one? Pfft! You're even jealous of a woman."

If they were just any couple, the rest of the audience would complain about them whispering in the movie theatre. However, this man was Lu Shaoting. They didn't have a word to say against them. They even wanted to know what they were talking so cheerfully about.

When the movie was finished, Lu Shaoting wanted to go for dinner together. "I have a property in the south. How about we go there for dinner? I'll cook."

"You and your brother really love the south part of the city, right? It's so cool!" her expression was that of worship. There were only a few estates in the south and all of them were insanely luxurious. The people who lived in those estates were all gods of wealth.

She was yet to experience the hugest shock. When they arrived, she looked at her boyfriend. "Your villa is right opposite President Lu's?" she had come to this estate one day when Wan Jia requested her to bring documents.

"Yes. Its restyling was completed not too long ago. I wanted it to be as futuristic as my brother's."

"Who owns the one beside you? It looks European." She asked as she peered over from the balcony.

"Bingo. It's indeed European. It's one of Henry Blanc's properties. If he decides to settle down here, we will all be neighbors."

"Lin Lihua will definitely love it."

"That's it now. Can you not stare at another man's villa so much? Our matrimonial home looks better." He pulled her back.

She looked around and pretended not to have heard what he just called this place. "It's so huge." It was not as big as Lu Aotian's but it was still too big for her.

Lu Shaoting held her waist. "Don't worry about that. We'll have many kids to fill it with life. Do you want me to walk you around?"

Su Ling nodded.

When she saw the kids' playroom, she was curious. "Why is it so big? It can practically fit fifty kids. This is not a school, right?"

Lu Shaoting smiled naughtily. "If my brother's kids want to play with their cousins, they can play here comfortably." He sounded as though their kids would be very many.

Su Ling suddenly looked down, as though she was sad about something. "What if…I can't have kids?"

Her question stunned Lu Shaoting. That was too sudden. He sighed and pulled her into his arms. "What's wrong with not having kids? We can always adopt some."

"Will adopted kids really love us?"

"Why not? Your movie queen is adopted too; and she loves her foster parents more than her own life. These are not the days when people would adopt children just to mistreat them. As long as we love them, they will love us too."

Su Ling's attention was caught by something else. "Talking of Lin Lihua, is she my boss' sister? I've heard my boss address her as her sister many times."

Lu Shaoting knew that this was a secret that not many people should know. "They are very good friends but she is older so my sister-in-law addresses her that way."

Su Ling was still curious but nodded her head. "Oh…"

"Is there something wrong?" Lu Shaoting asked her.

She shook her head. "It's nothing."

"Then I'll start cooking right away. Do you want to come along?"

"Of course. I want to learn more."

"You and your cooking lessons."
