Yun Jifeng decided to take action on the day after Lu Shaoting's date with Su Ling. The middle aged man called Master Li found him when he left his office in the evening. Lu Aotian was right about Master Li. He was the mole.

"Second Master Lu, long time no see."

After staying with his brother all these years, Lu Shaoting was able to predict that this man wanted something from him; and from his tone, it was definitely something mischevious. Lu Aotian had already tipped him off but he still pretended to not know. "Master Li, is there something you want to tell me?"

"Ahem, I just wanted to invite second young master for a drink and a game of chess. Is it possible for second young master to grace me with the opportunity?" he deliberately repeated "Second young master" while emphasizing the words one by one as though expressing his sarcasm.

Lu Shaoting of course saw through this. "Of course. I happen to have a lot of free time. A drink or two wouldn't kill."

"Second young master is indeed very kind. It's my treat."

Lu Shaoting secretly sneered and got into his car. After placing something on his passanger seat, he drove to a high end bar and booked a private room. If they were going to destroy someone, they had to do it accurately.

"Master Li didn't just call me here for a drink and a game of chess, right?" he probed after a few rounds of chess, none of which Master Li had won.

"Second young master is indeed quite observant. I had something to request if I won against you but how can I win against someone from the Lu family? I must have thought too highly of myself."

Lu Shaoting suppressed a laugh. Of course you can't beat the Lu family. Perhaps even my four-year-old niece can beat your ass. "You don't need to beat me to ask for something. Just spit it out."

"Really? I… the thing is, only your brother can do this."

"Then why didn't you find him instead? Am I a messenger?"

"No no. What I mean is, could you ask President Lu for a favor on my behalf? I can't bring myself to talk to him."

"You can stop beating around the bush." Lu Shaoting was now a hundred percent sure. This man was the mole.

The man looked as though he had suffered a lot but to Lu Shaoting, he was no different from a clown. "Vice President Lu, I hope President Lu can let me off. If he does this to me, I won't be able to take care of my family." He was on the verge of falling on his knees to beg.

"Do what?" Lu Shaoting asked.

"Sigh, President Lu is finding ways to kick me out of the company. I don't even know why I did wrong."

Lu Shaoting gave an answer anyone would. "Really? Why would my brother do that?"

"I don't know either. I don't seem to be the only one he's doing this to. He could be trying to change the higher management or something."

"Who else?" he laughed.

Master Li found his chance. "You."

A cold silence followed. The middle aged man coughed and broke into a smile. "Ah, second young master, that was a joke just now. Why would President Lu want to kick you out of the company?"

Just as Yun Jifeng had predicted, Lu Shaoting didn't look like he believed him. He stood up and grabbed Master Li's collar. His eyes in that moment were so scary that the man almost told him the whole truth. "Speak."

"Second young master, please calm down. I'll tell you everything."

Lu Shaoting let go of his collar and allowed him to speak.

"I observed that you have been missing from important meetings more often. You are not a shareholder, are you?" he asked boldly.

That got Lu Shaoting thinking. Indeed, recently the shareholders' meetings had been colliding with other meetings that he had to attend. It could have been a coincidence but now it seemed like his brother was the real deal. He had even considered this!

Master Li mistook his expression and thought that Lu Shaoting had made a shocking discovery. He continued, "Do you know who has been attending more meetings lately? This person even sits on your seat."

"Who?"

"Miss Wan Jia. No wait, it's Mrs. Lu. She even holds ten percent of the company's shares now."

"Oh, does she now?"
