Wan Jia laughed at her daughter's adorable look of envy. "Are you jealous of your friend? Come here. Mommy will tell you a bedtime story."

Little Jia rushed over as though scared that if she delayed any longer, her mother would tell the story to Tangtang instead.

That night, Wan Jia stayed with the kids to make sure Tangtang was not uncomfortable. Little Jia was of course happy that her mommy was staying in her room tonight. She smiled even in her dreams.

Tangtang was at ease with Wan Jia next to him. He felt so warm and comfortable that he didn't want to ever wake up.

As for a certain "abandoned consort" in the master bedroom, his expression was not exactly friendly.

How could his wife let him spend the cold night alone, and sleep with another man instead? It didn't matter even if that man was only six!

The next day, the kids didn't have to go to school. They were on school holiday. Wan Jia woke up to prepare yummy breakfast for both of them.

"Call Little Jia and Tangtang for down breakfast." Wan Jia said to the maid beside her.

When Tangtang heard that it was time for breakfast, he pouted and ran to Wan Jia, tugging on her sleeve. "Aunty Wan Jia, can we play a little more? We were building a very tall brick tower."

Wan Jia pinched his slightly chubby cheeks. "Of course you can, but that's after having breakfast. Where is Little Jia?"

The little girl arrived just as Wan Jia asked about her. "Mommy, hug."

The little girl was cheerful this morning. After getting a hug from her mother and her father who had been at the dining table all along, she allowed her mother to serve her breakfast.

As she watched the two kids eat and banter once in a while, Wan Jia finally understood why Lu Shaoting loved them so much. They were too cute. The abandoned Lu Aotian felt like he was out of luck. What kind of day was this? She had been looking at the kids all along and didn't spare him a glance.

"Mommy, Little Jia is full. Can I go to play?"

"Aunty Wan Jia, Tangtang is full too. Can we go to play?"

Wan Jia had no word for them. Fine, they had missed each other. Go play as much as you want.

But, before they left, Little Jia peered at her father and asked, "Daddy, does Katy's daddy like Aunty Lihua? I saw him on television looking at aunty Lihua the same way you look at mommy."

Wan Jia pretended she didn't hear anything.

Lu Aotian coughed. "That's adults' business. You don't have to know, okay?"

Little Jia pouted cutely. "Okay. Anyway, I only asked because if Katy's daddy married Aunty Lihua, Katy would become my cousin. I like her very much and would be very happy."

Eer, that relationship would be quite distant but Little Jia still liked it.

Southside Villas, Villa number 2.

"A-cho! Is someone missing me?" Henry Blanc sneezed as he woke up. He had spent the night at his Southside Villa after the Awards Ceremony. He had bought this villa in case Lin Lihua wanted to remain in country C after their marriage. For the same reason, he was considering moving the headquarters of Le Blanc Group to country C.

Pulling the covers off him, he got out of bed. Tonight, he had a date with Lin Lihua. The first thing he did when he got up was call Wan Jia.

"My honorable little sister-in-law, you left so early last night that I didn't have a chance to have a word with you."

Wan Jia, on the other end, could roughly guess what he was up to. "Haven't you got the chance now?"

"My sister gave me shoes from her new release. Every type of them. They are a gift to you. Do you want to pick them? I'm at Southside."

"There's no such thing as a free lunch." Wan Jia laughed at her future brother-in-law.

"I'm not giving you lunch, I'm giving you shoes."

"There's no such thing as a free pair of shoes either."

"Okay, you got me. Is there any men's attire that hasn't been sold out from your collection? I'll buy it at any price you ask for."

"You're my brother-in-law. Of course I will not make things difficult for you on your first date. Give me a few minutes, okay?"

"Thank you." He was elated at the way she had addressed him. Brother-in-law?

A few minutes later, Wan Jia called him. "Go to EFW main store, I already spoke to them."

Henry Blanc once again thanked her and rushed to EFW main store.

What surprised him was that when he arrived, he was not given outfits to choose from. He was instead given one. However, he did not doubt Wan Jia's choice. He took it and went ahead to prepare for his date.

Henry Blanc was not the only one putting in all his effort on this date. Lin Lihua was too.

Although the man had called it just a meal, she knew the feelings between them wouldn't let it be called just a meal. She had never gone on a date before, not even on a blind date.

This was her first and she was honestly a little excited. She only hoped that Henry Blanc was not dating for the sake of it. She agreed to this date with marriage in mind after all.
