Soon after Henry Blanc called his parents, Katy video called Little Jia too. She was using her mother's phone and Little Jia was using Wan Jia's. Katy made sure her mother was out of earshot before she complained to her friend.

"Lu Meili, I overheard my grandma say that Daddy is getting married."

Little Jia had witnessed the scene on her side but she didn't talk about it because her father said to stay out of adults' matters. Katy had a pouty expression as though she had been bullied.

"Is that why you are not happy?"

"Uh huh. What if she is a bad person?"

Little Jia knew that Lin Lihua was a kind woman. "She might be kind and loving. Don't be too pessimistic, okay?"

Katy wasn't convinced. "Even if she is good at first, she might just turn into an evil woman later. Daddy's fiancée must be as evil as Snow White's stepmother." She harrumphed.

Little Jia's expression turned dark. "Take that back."

"Why should I?"

"My daddy said that kids who don't respect people are bad kids."

Katy went on complaining but Little Jia was already annoyed. How can she say that about her aunty Lihua?

Wan Jia was within earshot on Little Jia's side. She didn't look pleased either. She had thought that Katy was a lovely and polite little girl. How could a small child have such a venomous tongue? To start with, Lin Lihua was her future aunt, not her stepmother. How disrespectful! If Henry Blanc was going to marry her sister, he would have to tame that spoilt little girl first.

Not wanting to think about her sister's spoilt future niece any more, she went to Lu Enterprises to look for Lu Aotian.

She would just casually mention Lin Industries to him. If he was too busy to try and revive it, she would leave it at that.

One had to know that she was only doing this for her mother and sister. She didn't want them to feel sad about losing their company but as for her father, that man was too irrational.

She took her car keys and kissed her daughter's cheek. "Baby, mommy will be back in a short while. Be good, okay?"

Little Jia was displeased about having to play on her own but she understood that her mother was busy. "Yes mommy."

'I hope it's not a bother' she thought.

When she reached Lu Enterprises' top floor, Lu Aotian's secretary smiled at her politely. "Madam, President Lu is not in his office."

"Where is he?" Wan Jia asked.

"He went to the office of the Vice President and hasn't come out yet."

Lu Aotian had said that no one should bother him and Lu Shaoting. But the little secretary knew that Lu Aotian's orders of not being bothered never included Wan Jia so she didn't mention it. If it were anyone else, she wouldn't let them in. She escorted Wan Jia to Lu Shaoting's office and stopped right after opening the door for her. "They are in the private section over there. I'm not allowed to go beyond this point."

"That's okay. Thank you."

Wan Jia knocked on the door of the private section but they didn't seem to hear her. She couldn't hear anything from inside either. Guessing that they were probably busy, she sat on Lu Shaoting's waiting couch to wait for them.

Inside the private section, the Lu brothers' new robots were complete. The most important one was a duplicate of Thirty. They wanted it to stay in Lu Shaoting's office.

When they were done, Lu Aotian stood to leave and opened the door slightly.

"Bro." Lu Shaoting called out.

"Is there anything else?"

"Yes. The results for the pill you gave me are out. It doesn't contain anything poisonous for the body. In fact, it's made up of extremely rare components that should increase a woman's fertility. Whoever gave it to you must have spent a lot of effort to create it.

Lu Aotian sat back down. "That doesn't prove anything. Perhaps it's meant to be poisonous when taken together with other drugs."

Lu Shaoting wasn't too sure about that. "Indeed, that genius doctor doesn't have a reason to help our family. It will make sense if he has a favor to ask in return but if not..sigh."

Lu Aotian: "They are enemies of both the Lu and Lin families. Forget about the Lu family. The father is trying so hard to send Lin Industries downhill. Why would the son want to be kind to Lin Zhou's daughter?"

As soon as he said that, the brothers heard a small crash.

They exchanged looks and stepped out in a hurry.

"Sister-in-law?"

"Wanwan?"

Wan Jia stood up looking at them. "I'm sorry for overhearing your conversation. I didn't intend to, but what you said just now...is it true?"

Lu Aotian looked at her as though wondering why she was in Lu Shaoting's office.

Wan Jia explained, "Your secretary said you were here, so I came. I knocked and you might have not heard so I sat here to wait for you."

"Is it true?" She probed.

Lu Aotian took her hand. "Let's talk in my office."

She was nervous until Lu Aotian confimed, "Yes, what you heard is true. That Qian Li's father is the one attacking your family's company. He seems to have a feud against your father."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"You never asked. Besides, last time you were so kind to them that you defended his son."

Wan Jia didn't like his sarcastic tone.
