In the presence of Lin Lihua, he felt like a rookie in romance. He was going to daringly make a move but his phone rang and interrupted him.

He ignored it and lowered his head to kiss her.

"Your phone." She said softly. She didn't want to be interrupted either but it could be something important.

He cursed whoever it was and picked it up. "What is it?"

Lu Shaoting was calling to inform him that his brother wished to meet for a casual chat tonight but when he heard that tone…"Sorry, did I interrupt you? Please continue with what you were doing." He hung up immediately.

Henry Blanc really wanted to strangle him. You already interrupted me, okay? You may as well just tell me what you want.

Lin Lihua received a call too. After hanging up, she looked at him apologetically. "Something happened at the company. I have to go."

"Accompany me later, okay?" It was a shame that his wife was leaving too soon.

"I don't know about that. If I won't be held up later, I will definitely accompany you."

"Okay. If you need anything, feel free to tell me." he held her waist and kissed her forehead lightly.

She nodded just to be polite. She wasn't going to need anything from him.

Meanwhile, Henry Blanc was wondering just who his future father-in-law offended. Not only was his company being sabotaged by all means, he was even more out of luck for getting on Lu Aotian's bad side. Was Lin Industries really going to survive this? Anyhow, if he helped Lin Industries out, Lu Aotian wouldn't have a problem with that, right? He really didn't want anything to get in the way of his queen's happiness.

Though with her personality, he knew that she would rather find other influential companies to collaborate with than ask him for anything. She didn't want to rely on anyone, not even her future husband.

The call just now was from Lin Zhou. The companies that had agreed to collaborate with Lin Industries on a project had suddenly withdrawn their collaboration. The project was being given to another company instead. They were willing to pay double the compensation fee. Although it was a huge amount of money, it wouldn't actually be of much help. It would only slow down Lin Industries' speed of going bankrupt for two or three weeks.

Lin Lihua saw the cheque and sighed. She had spent a lot of effort to bid this project and now it was gone just like that.

It seemed like she only had one choice left.

One hour later, Lu Enterprises.

"I'm still busy. You have five minutes." Lu Aotian said nonchalantly.

Lin Lihua didn't mind his tone. He was clearly busy after all. "Since we are both busy, let's not waste each other's time. This is my proposal."

Lu Aotian only looked at the top page and frowned, his whole body emitting an aura of intimidation. "You want Lin Industries to take on a main project of Lu Enterprises. Do you think it's worthy?"

Lin Lihua didn't feel intimidated by his look. "Yes. Business and personal matters should be handled separately. I will personally oversee this project and there will be no errors."

"Lu Enterprises doesn't need your help." He dismissed.

"I know. But Lin Industries needs yours. You can't deny that this will be a win-win, can you? No matter how you look at it, Lu Enterprises gains the most profit out of this." She would have sought help from her fiancé but it wouldn't be too nice if her in-laws were to think that she only agreed to be with Henry Blanc to save her family's company.

On another note, she was prepared to forget about Lin Industries and let it go bankrupt. After all she had her Entertainment agency and had to spend time on stabilizing it. However, she couldn't stand aside and watch her parents feel sad. Her last resort was to offer collaboration on Lu Enterprises' newest project. The fact that Lu Aotian was her brother-in-law as well as her fiancé's friend made it harder for her.

"I'll think about it." he said after reading through her proposal in a flash.

"Thank you, president Lu." She said and left his office.

A phone call came in as soon as she left. "You didn't make things difficult for my queen, did you?"

Lu Aotian relaxed in his chair. "Don't you think I'd be afraid that my wife will make me kneel on durians?" that was his sister-in-law. He had to treat her like anyone else or else Wan Jia wouldn't let him off.

"Tsk, I didn't know that the mighty President Lu is dominated by his wife." Henry Blanc taunted.

"What do you know? My wife is a goddess. It's my honor to be dominated by her."

"Can you skip the PDA? Thanks. Let's talk about why I called you. I'm switching to a conference call in a minute."

After Wan Jia's meeting, she didn't waste a single minute before getting into her car to go home.

Although she really wanted to know what Lu Aotian was up to, she didn't want to ask. He would tell her when he was ready.

Lin Lihua invited her for a meal when Lu Aotian accepted her proposal. However, Wan Jia was still not allowed to go anywhere unless her work required her to be there.

She made her wait and sent Lu Aotian a message. [Can I go for a meal with my sister?]

The reply came almost immediately. [No.]

Another message came in. [She has Henry to accompany her for meals and you have me to take you out for meals]

[Then can you take me out?]

[No.]

Wan Jia really wanted to strangle him.

In the end, Lin Lihua called her fiancé and celebrated her win with him. Though she still felt wronged. Did Lu Aotian think she was going to steal her sister from him?
