"What is it?" Yun Xuan asked curiously. Even the little boy in her arms seemed to rest his eyes on him. Was he not leaving yet?

"Just wait a moment okay?"

He rushed to his car and took a box of something out. He then brought it to her. "Here, it's for Yun Feng."

Yun Xuan restrained her excitement. "When did you even get this?"

The point was, he had got a present for her baby? How thoughtful of him.

Lin Ye was studying her expression and was glad that she liked it. "Before I came to pick you up. I just casually picked something that little boys would love." He made it sound as though he was not the one who spent days trying to decide on the best kind of present for his future son. It had to be precious, but not too expensive or Yun Xuan would not accept it.

The boy was curious about the foreign object and stuck out his tiny hands to touch it.

Yun Xuan really wanted to know what kind of toy he had bought for her baby, but she would let him open it when he was able to. It was the first gift he had recieved from a man after all.

He already had numerous toys that he would play with while growing up. Yun Xuan had bought them for him after working hard. However, something felt particularly good about this new present.

"Boss, you should go to sleep early. Goodnight."

Yun Xuan responded with a smile. "Goodnight."

Lin Ye really wanted to give her a hug. At the same time, he didn't want to rush her or force her into anything so he resisted the urge. He pinched the boy slightly on his adorable little cheeks and left.

In his car, he wondered just how exactly he would make her fall in love with him. She was so indifferent towards him that one would think he was her brother.

He couldn't stand the temptation to tell her of his feelings whenever they were together. For now, it seemed like he had to keep his distance for a while, until she was actually ready for a man in her life.

Wan Jia knew that he was congratulating her for both reasons. Winning the award as well as being pregnant. "Thank you Grandfather Qian. Speaking of which, my mother was your disciple?"

Elder Qian was even happier when he heard about Xia Rou. "She was very talented. Actually, I took you in partially because you are very much like her. Aside from your looks, you are even better than she was. I had a feeling the both of you were related."

Wan Jia felt it now made sense. So he took her as his disciple because she was Xia Rou's daughter?

"It is not just because you are Xia Rou's daugher. If you were not good enough, it wouldn't matter."

Wan Jia finally smiled. She had thought just now that her whole career was a lie. She had to admit that she wouldn't be as good as she was right now if she had not recieved guidance from him.
