"We're here." She said after stopping the car.

Xu Tang looked around. Why were they at an open field? "Here?"

Lu Meili opened the car door from his side and unfastened his seat belt. He jumped out before she could push him out. Knowing her wild personality, that was exactly what she was going to do. "You are a bad person." He complained.

Lu Meili got out and grabbed his hand. "But you still call me your little angel. Are angels bad?"

"What angel? You are obviously a devil straight out of hell." He humphed. "It's so strange."

"I'm asking because what you saw scared you. You suffered from post traumatic depression for years and when you finally overcame it, you changed. You're no longer the Tangtang you used to be when we were kids."

He shrugged her hand of. "That's because I grew up. How can you expect me to be a child forever?"

Lu Meili forcefully grabbed that hand again. "That's not what I mean. You used to be very friendly and kind. After that incident, you wouldn't let anyone get within two steps of your radius. I was the only one who was able to be your friend because I forcibly stuck onto you.

She humphed and walked off.

He held her arm as she walked past him. "Meili wait! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. I.."

But she wasn't willing to listen to him. She pulled her arm off his grip. "I will not bring you here again. Neither will I ask you such silly questions." With that, she walked to her car.

Xu Tang watched her get in and expected her to drive off. He took out his phone preparing to call his chauffeur to pick him up.

The passenger door of Lu Meili's car opened. "I thought you disliked this place. What? Now you want to remain here?" The sharp tongued Lu Meili was at it again.

Xu Tang was pleasantly surprised. She didn't dump him here? "Did you take the wrong medicine today? You are too kind."

"You are the one who took the wrong medicine. Get in right now or I'll really dump you here."

He zipped his mouth and entered the car, looking like a scared cat.

Lu Meili couldn't stop herself from laughing. "Why do you look so scared? Do you think I'd eat you up?"

Xu Tang fastened his seatbelt cautiously. I don't just think you would eat me up. I know you will.

She smiled sweetly. "I wouldn't hurt the people I love."

Lu Meili chuckled and tore her gaze from him, scared to look into his eyes. "You're wrong. Those who don't know would think we are just friends. But those who know will know that I'm in love with you."

"What?!" Her words struck him like lighting. What did she just say?

Lu Meili sighed. She didn't expect that she would suddenly reveal her feelings to him. However, it was already done. She couldn't turn back.
