The girl walked over shyly, her face blushing furiously. This pretty lady hadn't taken a fancy to her, right?

Lu Meili picked a microphone and started singing.

That beautiful, sweet voice sent those drunk women right back to soberness. Lu Xian Li was lost in the moment before she remembered to share it with Mu Zhichen. ."

The girls pretty much guessed his next move so they remained silent. 

Lu Meili looked at them and sighed. "You came at the right time. We cannot drive in this state." 

Mu Zhichen tugged her hand. "Don't worry. I will have someone drop them off at your hotel. Let's go somewhere else." 

"But tonight, we were going to spend the night together." Lu Meili hesitated. 

"No no. Forget about us." Shen Yue said, earning approval from the other two.

His coaxing tone and their insistence made it impossible for Lu Meili to say no. She simply agreed to go.

A few minutes later, Lu Meili blinked and looked at her sorrounding. Her heart was racing. "You brought me to a hotel room?" 

Mu Zhichen cupped her small worried face. "I know what you are thinking. We will only stay here but we won't share a room." 

Lu Meili's tension relaxed. 

"Sweetie, I want a live performance." Mu Zhichen suddenly demanded, looking into her eyes. He had a fitful expression, like a child throwing a tantrum. 

"Pfft.So you came here for this." She was just starting to wonder what exactly brought him all the way to City D. 

"What's wrong with it? I can't follow my wife?" 

"There's nothing wrong with that. Except... I'm really tired right now so a live perfomance is impossible at the moment." 

Mu Zhichen looked slightly disappoined. He had only seen her dance on screens. He wanted to see it live. 

Seeing his face that looked like that of an abandoned puppy, Lu Meili stretched her hand to barely pat his head. "I'll dance for you on our wedding night." 

Mu Zhichen gazed at her. "Wouldn't you be tired?" 

"No matter how tired I am, I will owe you." 

Mu Zhichen's lips curled into an evil smile. "A strip dance?" 

Lu Meili's eyes shot wide open. She grabbed a pillow on the bed and smashed his face. "You dirty thug! I want to go to my room now." 

Mu Zhichen feigned innocence. "There were no rooms left, so I booked one." 

"But you just said that we would not share a room!" They were going to be married in just one day and a few hours. Was he so impatient? 

Knowing what she was thinking, he grabbed his coat. "I booked this room for you. I will go back to the capital." 

"Huh? It's already so late." 

"Then I'll find another hotel."
