Lin Ye didn't know whether to be happy or sad. However, it was good enough that she didn't scold him for taking advantage of her and scurry away.

He could finally heave a sigh of relief.

"Really? But it's too sweet. Much sweeter than any other water I've ever drank."

Although he was talking about water, it oddly sounded as though he was talking about something else.

Yun Xuan stared at him. Since when did water have a taste?

Just when she was finding a new topic to talk about, the man held out the empty glass towards her.

Once she took it away, he spoke in a pitiable tone. "Xuanxuan, I feel sweaty."

Yun Xuan finally couldn't take his teasing anymore. "Don't even think about it. I'm not going to bathe you. What's your butler's contact number? I'll call him back right away."

Lin Ye chuckled - a guilty chuckle from being found out.

He was hoping she could bathe him but since she couldn't, this was good too.

Another surprise lay in his phone.

It was unbelievable that he managed to lay his hands on such a photo and even kept it to use as his phone's screensaver.

Heaven knew that no matter how many times he got a new phone, he would only use this photo.

One had to admit that she was cute, though. It was a breath of fresh air from those elegant dresses and gowns that she always wore in the past.

She looked beautiful in them, but they would get monotonous with time.

"Have you found the butler's contact number?" Lin Ye probed.

Yun Xuan came back to her senses and did what she was supposed to do.

She called the butler and after talking him into returning, she hung up and returned the phone to Lin Ye. She did not date to look at it again.

In the morning, Yun Xuan diligently cooked breakfast - she felt self-conscious, as though she looked exactly like a wife preparing breakfast for her husband and son.

Once she had fed the pair, she asked to leave.

"I just moved in with Aunt Xia. Wouldn't it be strange if I simply hopped off to move in with a man?" This was what she said when Lin Ye tried to convince her to move in with him.
