After deciding the best place to have their vacation, the pair agreed to set off the next day.

They wanted to bring the child along. Although Xia Rou had expected them to go on their own and use this time to improve their relationship, she didn't mind them.

She only hoped that they wouldn't turn her little darling into a third wheel.

There were many places they wanted to go and they couldn't possibly travel to all of them. They could only go for five days since they still had to stabilize YX Brand and officially start business. Yun Xuan's welcome banquet would be postponed to when they got back.

In the end, they decided to go to Country A.

On the first day, they went to the zoo. Because they were bringing a child along, they could only go to places that were child friendly.

It was still fun nonetheless. The little boy was quite active all day, curiously trying to see and touch everything he could. Lin Ye's height was quite helpful.

As for the adults, the main point wasn't what they were doing but how they felt. Yun Xuan couldn't help stealing a few glances at him. It wasn't sure why but he looked more handsome than ever today.

They were quite a unique trio and everyone's attention was on them.

"Whoa. Look at the family over there, how beautiful!" A female tourist said to her companion.

"A handsome man, a beautiful woman and a cute child. Oh, I'm so jealous!"

Everyone showered them with complements, and a certain photographer even shyly walked over and asked to take photos of them.

He wouldn't charge a penny and would take as many photos as they liked, as long as they agreed to let him keep a few.

There was no harm in it so they agreed. What surprised them was that the little fella made cute poses too!

Yun Xuan had to chuckle. He must have gotten used to the camera thanks to her.

"The otters show is starting!" Someone exclaimed.

"Ah... the otters show! I don't want to miss a second of it!" Yun Xuan was excited. She had never seen one before.

And so they went.

Yun Xuan had initially thought that five days was such a long time but it passed by quite fast.

All the beautiful moments remained etched in their brains: screaming their lungs out on the world's scariest roller coaster, him stuffing popcorn into her dress at the movies and her reciprocating the action into his shirt, surfing in the ocean, going to the villages to check out their culture, buying souvenirs, him stealing a few kisses when Yun Feng wasn't watching... of course, they wouldn't bring the little boy when going to child unfriendly places like the world's scariest roller coaster, the haunted mansion and the falling tower. They had hired a temporary nanny for those few times.

The most memorable time was of course the night of the fourth day.

When the little boy fell asleep, they watched a short movie before he brought her to the top floor of the hotel. This hotel was among the tallest buildings and they could clearly see most of the city from the top floor.

"I didn't know N City looked this beautiful at night." She gushed.

"It's very beautiful." Lin Ye stole a glance at her happy face. "But it could be even more beautiful."

As soon as he said that, a whistle was heard as a small arrow shot into the sky. In the next moment, it exploded into several hearts.

Several more fireworks followed, forming a succession of hearts in the night sky.

Just when she thought they were over, a huge heart exploded with the words "Happy birthday, Xuanxuan."

Yun Xuan stared at the sky then back at him. "It's my birthday!"

She had totally forgotten about it.

Lin Ye took out a palm sized velvet box from his pocket. "Happy birthday."

Yun Xuan was emotional. She couldn't remember the last time she celebrated her birthday. "Thank you Lin Ye."

"You haven't even opened it."

She took the box carefully and opened it to reveal the most gorgeous necklace she had ever seen. It even had matching earrings and a bracelet. "This... I can't accept it. It's too expensive."

Lin Ye took the necklace and directly put it around her fair neck. "It's not expensive. It's handmade."

"You made this?" Yun Xuan looked at the necklace dangling on her neck in disbelief. No wonder it was so beautiful.

She turned around to hug him. "Thank you... it's so beautiful."

Lin Ye smiled in satisfaction. "I still have one more present to offer."

Yun Xuan didn't know what to say. Hadn't he given her too much already?

He held her chin and continued, "Myself."

"Ah...?"

"I'm offering myself as a special birthday present for you. Will you accept me? Will you be my wife?"

The second part was meant to be a mumble but it just left his lips. He was shocked himself, but he couldn't possibly take back such serious words... especially not when he had wanted to say then for ages.

Seeing that she remained silent, he was about to change the topic when she spoke, "Yes."

It was Lin Ye's turn to be shocked.

His shock intensified when the woman went on her tiptoes and planted a kiss on his lips.

He was stunned for a moment before he held her waist and deepened the kiss. He only broke the kiss when they were both out of breath.

The next day, they went back home. How they wished they could have stayed for a few more days!

Lin Ye clearly saw that the woman beside him had the same wish as him. With a light kiss on her cheek, he whispered, "We can go back when we are not too busy."

"Sure."

Yun Xuan was basking in joy. She would have loved to spend more time with him. The next time, they would definitely leave the little boy behind. Of course there were things he shouldn't be able to witness.

If the little lad knew what his mother was thinking...

They were both tired but they had a banquet to attend tonight.

"Head Stylist Xuanxuan, could you help me choose an outfit for tonight?" Came the familiar line.

Yun Xuan glanced at the serious-faced man. "No can do." She checked that Yun Feng was asleep and planted a small kiss on the corner of his lips. "If I choose your outfit, you will be too handsome for your own good."

Lin Ye took advantage of the little boy's slumber to hold her neck and deepen the kiss. He broke the kiss and said, "Then I will choose a dress for you and you will be beautiful too. Wouldn't we look perfect?"

Yun Xuan looked at him gently. "You and your antics."
