"We should've stayed there. Mom wanted to....," said Mishi.

"But then how would I spend time with my wife on my birthday", said Xian with a raised brow raising her chin.

Mishi released herself from him and said, "You like to tease me?"

"Yes. A lot. It gives me a different kind of pleasure", said Xian and smiled. Mishi turned her face and was going away when Xian held her hand and pulled her towards him.

"Leave me...", said Mishi in a low voice.

"Don't you want to know what I wish for?", asked Xian looking into her eyes.

"I know. You wants revenge from me then you'll feel happy", said Mishi. Xian touched her cheek from his thumb gently. "Xian what are you doing?", said Mishi with a trembled voice.

"Make a guess", said Xian still looking at her. Mishi pushed him lightly but he tightened his grip and held her by waist.

"Xian..."

"Mishi", whispered Xian and pulled her chin up to look at him. "I wished for a night with you", said Xian with a smile. "I guess it will become true today".

Mishi looked at him in confusion and her pulse level rises. Suddenly Xian started laughing and released her...."Mishi your face. I love that face....", saying this Xian again started laughing.

"Xian", mumbled Mishi.

"I was joking with you. Why would I waste my wish on such a ridiculous thing...your face Mishi. It seemed that you want to...", Xian again laughed. He wiped the tear off from his eye and said, "my revenge will be like this. No one will get hurt and I know I'll win everytime".

Mishi instead of getting angry passed a smile to him and hugged him tightly. With her sudden gesture Xian stopped laughing and tried to release her hands from him.

"It will be last time Xian. I think it's the best time I should say this to you. Thanks Xian everything you did for me. I never felt this happy before because no one did so much things for my siblings. You not only give them a roof and safety but also love of a mother and older brother which they always wanted. Xian thank you for the things you've done for us. I'm not angry on you anymore. You are my family now so I'll go along with you so that you can be happy", said Mishi and release the hug.

She stepped back when Xian asked, "What are you hiding?"

"Ah...nothing....those are my true feelings Xian", said Mishi.

"What happened between you and Bai?", asked Xian. Mishi looked at him and thinks in her mind how did he know. So she thought to lie again. "What would happen between us? She's my best friend after all", said Mishi.

"You won't say truth", said Xian.

"I'm saying the truth...let's not talk about her you lose temper if someone talks about Bai in front of you. The doctor said", said Mishi with a smile.

Xian looked at Mishi suspiciously.

"Xian btw I've something important to tell you. I mean I never told you before about that", said Mishi. Xian sat on the couch and gestured her to sit.

"Say", said Xian.

"Xian actually, SJ management CEO is my uncle..... He wants us to come to his house. I mean my grandma is sick so she wants to meet me and see my husband", said Mishi.

"SJM CEO is your uncle and you and the kids lived in utter poverty.....weird isn't it", said Xian.

"I want to be independent so I told them that I don't want anyone to think that we're....."

"Mishi you know I know everything about you. Everything. Your father owned that company but after accident it was passed sorry not passed but he took it from you by taking signs on the paper.....so You shouldn't lie", said Xian. "But I'm suspicious how could you sign the papers without even reading them? I don't think you're that dumb".

Mishi looked at him and said, "Mom dad died all of a sudden I think I signed then.....I don't have a clear memory when I did that mistake".

"Because of your foolishness those kids have to suffer along with you", said Xian.

"Hm....", mumbled Mishi.

"Let's go there tomorrow", said Xian. Mishi looked at him.

"Don't look at me like that. Your grandma is sick so we should go there....", said Xian.

"Thanks", said Mishi.

"Okay.....now I'm going to sleep", said Xian and got up from the couch. "Do you want to sleep with me?", asked Xian. Mishi looked at him. "Just kidding....", said Xian smiling. "Go to your room and sleep", saying this Xian walked away from there. Mishi smiled and went to her room.

Xian laid down on his bed and started thinking about Mishi.

"Something has happened between them. She told me that she wants to do a job and then in the car she was definitely on the verge of crying. But why? Wait she did go that day somewhere. Did she go to meet Bai? I can't meet her because I would lose my anger there definitely. Mark will have to help me now...", mumbled Xian and turned off the lights.

"Who come this early morning?", mumbled Mishi and opened the door.

"Yin".

"Morning Mishi. Can I..."

"Yeah yeah of course... ", said Mishi and opened the door. "Xian, Yin is here come out", shouted Mishi.

"A perfect couple", said Yin. Mishi smiled hearing this. Xian came out of his room and saw Yin in the living room. "Why did you come this early?"

"To give you a gift of your b-day", said Yin. Xian smiled and said, "that's not needed".

"It is. Here have a look", said Yin. Mishi went inside the kitchen and looked at them.

"What is this? Beijing Hutong Night Tour with Yunnan Style Dinner and Chartered Boat Ride at Houhai Lake??", asked Xian.

"Yeah....You both have to go. Tomorrow night so clear your schedule", said Yin.

"I don't like these kinds of things", said Xian.

"Why are you lying? You used to say earlier that you want to go to a cruise with Bai", said Yin loudly. Xian closed her mouth by putting his palm on her mouth.

She stumped on his foot and he started jumping.

Yin ran inside the kitchen and said, "Mishi get ready tomorrow night. Mark and I will be there so you won't feel alone. Aunt Biyu told me yesterday that Xian loves to go on short trips..... I'm happy that I bought these tickets".

Xian came inside the kitchen and grabbed water bottle from the fridge. "It's a two day trip so two days leave", said Xian looking at Yin.

"Better than 7 days honeymoon", said Yin and giggled.

"I've prepared the breakfast. Yin please sit there", said Mishi and took the plates & bowls towards the table. After eating their breakfast they left for the office.

"Mishi I'll not be in office today, I'll come in later evening to pick you up", said Xian and carried his car keys.

"Where are you going?", asked Mishi.

"I've a business meet with a business partner", said Xian and walked away from there.

Mishi rested on her chair and checked his mails. Suddenly the door fell open. Mishi got up to look at the person and it was Bai Lao. Mishi walked to her and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Where's Xian?", asked Bai.

"He has gone out for a meeting but why are you..."

"Mishi you really wanted this right?", asked Bai.

"What do you mean?", asked Mishi with a confused look.

"Mishi why did you lie to me? You're actually married to him and you came to my house just to know about the truth of that day so that you can destroy my husband. I supported you Mishi in everything but you....I helped you when everyone turned their faces from you but you...."

"But what did I do Bai? I wanted to tell you that day but..."

"Don't show me your fake tears. My husband has lost his money in an investment. Do you know why? Because of you Mishi. I never thought you'll tell Xian to do this....", shouted Bai at her.

Mishi didn't understand what was Bai saying so she tried to soothe her but Bai slapped her hard. "You deserve this Mishi. You don't deserve happiness and I wish you always...." But before she could complete her words Xian walked towards her.

"How dare you to slap my wife?", shouted Xian at her.

"Xian", mumbled Mishi. Mark too came there and stood beside Mishi.
