A year has passed. There is no trace of Mishi. Chang and Chunhua have passed their junior high school and now they're in the senior high. Chunhua has passed the audition. She is living with her group for the training of three years.

Chang wants to be a lawyer. The thing which her sister went through he doesn't want any woman to go from it. He usually goes to meet Chunhua on weekends. He has become more serious about life.

Mark is looking after the company usually. Xian presence is nil there. Company heads has offered him to be the CEO but he refused saying the legit CEO who deserve this place is Xian. Yin has broken up with him just after a week of Mishi's disappearance. He's now busy in taking care of his family. Before returning home he makes sure to take Xian safely to his apartment from the bar. Yes, Xian stays usually in the bar and Yin usually takes care of Xian at night.

Lau Lan got busy in the hospital. He tried to do counselling of Xian many times but Xian never takes a session with him.

Lan Zhan doesn't talk with Xian much because he can't forgive him for the things he did with Mishi.

Xian is in a bar drinking alcohol like water. His condition has become worse than the last time when Bai broke up with him. "Mishi where are you? I'm drinking this because I want you to come and rescue me like you did everytime when you were with me. Haha....I'm the one who couldn't understand your worth", saying this Xian again took the alcohol glass in hand and gulped the entire drink.

Yin came there and said, "Xian let's go home". She took the glass from his hand and put it on the table. She told Wang Feng to take Xian to the car. Wang Feng did the same and took Xian out of the bar. She made the payment there and left with Xian to his apartment. After reaching apartment she gave water to Xian but he refused saying Mishi will come in a while and will cook him a meal and give him water.

"Xian what mom sense are you saying? She has left you....She doesn't want to be with you that's why she left that day", said Yin angrily.

"She didn't leave me. She loves me very much. She is angry on me that's why she's not returning. But we will find her", said Xian and laid his head back while sitting on the couch.

Yin went to his room and took out some clothes for him. She get seated beside him and started unbuttoning his shirt. Xian opened his eyes and jerked her hands. "Xian you've wore these clothes for last two days. It's fine", said Yin with an assurance and unbuttoned his shirt.

"Go home....never come here. I'm grateful that you did many things for me....But it's not your right to go home. Mishi can mis- understood us", said Xian. He got up from the couch and walked towards his room when Yin said, "I love you more than her. Can't you see me? I can do everything that she did for you. I can cook for you, can go out with you, whatever you want I can do that".

"Don't do then. I never asked for your help. You know that I don't love you", said Xian and with his trembling steps he stepped further when Yin came running to him and hugged him from the back.

"Xian I know you are saying these things in anger. It's fine I'll wait for you. But let me take care if you.....I can do everything for you", said Yin while wiping off her tears. Xian released her grip from his and turned to him.

"Yin let's not ruin our friendship. You can never take place of her. She's the only woman who can make me crazy for her and as you can see I'm indeed crazy for her. She's the only one who can make me feel strange even if we're apart. Only her handmade food can make me feel like a home. She's the perfect wife in this world", said Xian and smiled.

"What if she's died? Nobody knows whether she's alive or not", said Yin looking at Xian. Xian glared at her and said, "Don't ever say that. Get out now. I want to be alone". Saying this he walked inside his room and shut the door.

Yin couldn't hold her anger. "Mishi you destroyed my life too. How can you say that to Zhao that you love Xian. I'm not going to leave that boy", saying this she walked out of the room.

"Sir she didn't say a word for past six months. Shouldn't you take her to the hospital....psychiatry?", asked Qiang looking at Yuwan.

"Qiang go out for now. Let me talk with her", said Yuwan.

"Sir you tried many times but she didn't utter a word", said Qiang.

"This time it would be different", said Yuwan. Qiang nodded and walked out of the room closing the door behind him.

Yuwan went near Mishi and wiped her tears off from the tissue. She didn't show any response. Her eyes didn't twitch a bit. "Miss do you want to live like this for your entire life?", asked Yuwan and sat on the chair beside her bed.

"It has been an year and you ain't talking. You only cry every time I come inside this room. I didn't save you so that you can cry all the time and not talk with people", said Yuwan. He didn't find any emotion in her eyes. "Did your lover betray you?", asked Yuwan.

Mishi blinked her eyes and it was her first reaction after a year. Yuwan got the trigger. He continued the conversation.

"Miss you are ruining your life just because a man left you. Is he shedding tears for you too? I don't think so. It has been a year and he didn't try to find you", said Yuwan looking at her.

"You were in a serious car accident a year ago. Your condition was critical and you came out of that thing too. It's like a new life to you so instead of crying for the past don't you think you should move forward? I understand in this one year that you are in deep pain but it doesn't mean that you've live with it throughout your life. Be strong and I'm with you so don't be afraid. Try to change yourself now because it's a rebirth of you. Everything you had in past you can have it if you want it, You just have to be strong for that....", said Yuwan.

Mishi didn't say anything. Yuwan got up from the chair and walked out of her room.

"Sir the scheduled meeting of today is cancelled. I've shifted it for tomorrow", said Qiang.

"Okay good....is there something to eat..wait let me cook something for us", said Yuwan and walked towards the kitchen.

"I can hire an another maid for you", said Qiang.

"It's fine. I don't like the food made be anyone except our aunt who will return after a month I guess", said Yuwan and open the cabinet. He took out containers from there. He then filled the pan with water and put it on the flame.

"Sir we should do something with that girl. I mean we've to find her family. If your father will get to know about this then he will take it the other way", said Qiang and walked towards her.

"No she won't leave. I think her family doesn't want her that's why she never talks about them. She never once talk with us", said Yuwan and smiled. Suddenly the door of Mishi's room opened. As it was close to the kitchen so they can get a complete view of her. It's the first time she herself came out of the room. Yuwan and Qiang looked at each other.

Yuwan then rushed to her. "Are you okay? Do you need anything?", asked Yuwan.

"I want to cook the food for us", said Mishi looking at him.

"Ahh.....there's no need. I can cook too. You just sit here", said Yuwan in excitation.

"I really want to do this. Let me", said Mishi. Qiang looked at Yuwan and came forwards, "of course miss. He can't cook...I think you couldn't able to eat the food made by him".

Yuwan looked at Qiang and gestured him to shut up. Mishi smiled hearing him. It was the first time they both see her reaction. "Let me cook the meal. You both did many things for me so let me do this", said Mishi again and looked at them.

Yuwan nodded and showed her the way. He gave an apron to her and said, "I've many things in the fridge so you don't have to worry about those things. Cook whatever you want to".

Mishi nodded and started cooking. Yuwan came out of the kitchen. Both Qiang and Yuwan get seated on the dining table and kept on watching her.

"What happened? After a year she talked with us and said she wants to cook", said Qiang with a raised brow.

"I don't know. May be its her hobby to cook or maybe she's a chef and she wants to do this", said Yuwan looking at Mishi. Mishi was focussed on cooking so didn't look at them. Yuwan smiled thinking finally the girl started thinking about herself.
