"The shares have dropped to 15%; the rank is in the 200s; we are lagging behind our current target; lost many major deals etc etc., " said Xian looking at the reports.

"We tried hard to maintain everything but couldn't be able to for long," said the GM of the finance department.

"It's my fault. If the leader is absent then what can his army do. Apologies for the losses you all have suffered in this period. Let's do our best from now on," said Xian. Everyone nodded with him.

"SJM has withdrawn this year's investment from us because of our poor performance," said Mark.

"It's fine. There are far better companies than that. I know my team's abilities to give their best shot in the worst situation too. I hope you all will continue to support Maximus as you all did throughout these years," said Xian looking at them.

"The salaries haven't increased for the last one year because of these losses we incurred. Don't worry about that I'll thrive on the new solutions for this but all I need is the support of all of you," said Xian with a smile. After having a meeting for more than two hours everyone left from there.

"Mark you should go home," said Xian, picking his phone and tablet from the table.

"I'll work with you too," said Mark.

"From tomorrow you can. Go home. Don't worry about me," said Xian and walked out from there to his office. He looked around in his office and smiled. "Mishi used to sit there," mumbled Xian and got seated in his chair. He switched on the desktop and saw thousands of personal mails to him. He got busy with work, checking reports, files etc.

He is reading the file related to the upcoming deal standing at the edge of the table when the door is pulled by someone and it was Yin. Xian was busy with his work when Yin called his name. "Let's talk later...btw you shouldn't be here so let's talk tomorrow," said Xian and folded his sleeves up. He turned his back to her and put the file on the table.

His entire table was filled with papers and files. He was busy checking something from the other file on the table when Yin hugged him from the back. Xian touched her hands to release them from him but then Yin said, "I'm happy that you've returned back to the company. Sorry for the other day. I was just helping you."

Xian got straightened and said, "It's fine. We're friends so such things happen." He released her grip from his waist and turned to her. "Next time you have to knock at the door before coming inside," said Xian.

"Why? I mean you never told me this thing before, " said Yin with confusion.

"I didn't because I thought you'll understand me after sometime. But you didn't so it's better not to come here without my permission," said Xuan looking at her.

"Are you doing this because of Mishi?", asked Yin.

"Why are you taking Mishi in between our conversation?", asked Xian.

"Because since the day she left you're pushing away me too. You didn't do this when Bai left you. You always asked for me and now it's the opposite," said Yin with teary eyes.

"Because she loves me. She's the woman who cared for me even if I was rude to her. I never looked at you with those eyes because you're a friend," said Xian and turned back to his desk.

"I also love you. I'm willing to do everything for you that she did to you. I can fill that void for you," said Yin.

"Yin I already told you that I only see you as a friend not as a woman. No woman can replace Mishi. She is the only one for me. Leave now," said Xian. Yin didn't say anything and walked out of his office in eger.

Xian contiSed working till the morning.

"Mishi we have to cancel our plan to go out. Let's go this weekend somewhere…," said Yuwan.

"It's fine. Good night," said Mishi with a smile and went inside her room. She looked at the mobile which Yuwan gave her. She quickly searched Chang's line ID. "My brother has grown so much," mumbled Mishi. She thought of making an ID with some other name but then stopped. She puts her phone aside on the bedside table.

Unable to sleep she walked out of her room to the garden. She sat on the grass and looked at the stars there. "Why ain't you sleeping?", asked Yuwan and came there.

Mishi turned her head to look at him and said, "Oh I couldn't get to sleep so I thought to come here…."

"Why are you sitting on the ground? Come have a seat here on this sofa," said Yuwan.

"It feels good here. You should also sit here….," said Mishi with a smile. Yuwan gets seated beside her.

"Let's talk about you. I mean I don't know anything about you," said Mishi looking at Yuwan.

"What do you want to know?", asked Yuwan looking into her eyes.

"Why did your license suspend? You saved my life and I think you're a quite skilled doctor," said Mishi.

"Well it was a medical accident but there was a newbie who made a mistake while operating. He had huge debts on his head. As I was leading the surgery that time so I took the blame," said Yuwan.

"You're kind. Not anyone does this," said Mishi looking into his eyes.

"Hehe...I was lucky that my father owns a company so I changed my path to this business. Sometimes I thought I shouldn't have done that but then that boy wants it….After that he didn't make a mistake," said Yuwan with a smile.

"Why don't you live with your father?", asked Mishi.

"Well because he will set me up with someone," said Yuwan with a slight smile.

"So you're running away from the marriage?", asked Mishi.

"Hm sort of. I want to fall in love with someone but there's no woman who makes my heart flutter," said Yuwan and smiled.

"You will find it soon," said Mishi and gave him a warm smile.

"Should I ask something from you?", asked Yuwan. Mishi nodded.

"Why were you crying all the time?", asked Yuwan. Mishi paused hearing this. "Ah if you don't wanna tell then it's fine too. No compulsion," said Yuwan.

Mishi looked at the sky and said, "I was in love with someone. I used to ask myself why didn't he find me. Actually I was married but that day I divorced him. My siblings turned their faces away from me but then it was my fault not giving them enough like the other kids. Many things happened that day….."

"Now there are no more tears because I don't want to be weak like I was in those years. I want to make an identity of myself and want to live a dignified life. It's all thanks to you who gave me this life."

Yuwan felt the pain in Mishi's eyes but he thought not to say further as it can hurt her. He started caressing her head gently. Mishi looked at him.

"You ain't alone anymore. Don't think about that life now. It was all in the past.....," said Yuwan with a smile.

Mishi nodded at him and said, "thank you Yuwan for making me believe that I'm also worthy to live."

Yuwan embraced her into a hug and said, "you're more than worthy. You've an identity and no one has the right to snatch it. Don't ever feel like this." He kept on caressing her head. After sometime Mishi released the hug and said, "You should take a good sleep now. I'm also feeling sleepy". They got up from the grassy ground and walked to their respective rooms.
