Xian came home at midnight. Lau Lan and Lan Zhan were sitting on the couch in the living room. Xian ignored them and walked inside his room. After freshening up he came out and took out a beer drink from the fridge.

"Put that back," said Lau. Xian ignored him and walked towards his room when Lan Zhan held his arm tightly and snatched the drink from him. Xian looked into his eyes but didn't say anything.

"You have become a heavy drinker in a year. It could be harmful for you," said Lau looking at Xian.

"I'm going out for some work. You both should sleep," said Xian. "Are you now going to a bar?", asked Lau.

"None of your business," said Xian. Lau and Lan Zhan looked at each other. The next second they both grabbed Xian's arms and threw him inside his room and locked it from outside. Xian started hitting at the door. "Open it ..," shouted Xian from inside.

"Nope….sleep now and take a good rest," said Lan Zhan loudly and smiled looking at Lau Lan. They both went to the other room. "Do you think it's the best way to stop him?", asked Lan Zhan looking at Lau.

"Hm it's the best solution. Is there no information about Mishi?", asked Lau looking at Lan Zhan.

"There is. She vanished that day from the highway which is quite isolated. It was in construction for sometime that year and there were no cameras that time so it's hard to find where she was gone that day, " said Lan Zhan.

"Why didn't you tell Xian?", asked Lau.

"He will be mad….that's not the problem now. The main issue is that a man saw her that day and there was an accident too. The witness said that two men took her from there but they didn't go to the hospital. There were no records of her admissibility in the nearby hospital. How is this possible? Did those men kill her or she's alive? There are many answers to find out," said Lan Zhan and drank the water.

"Lan Zhan when did you get to know about this?", asked Lau.

"9 months ago. I didn't think I'd find her but there's no clue of her," said Lan Zhan.

"She met with Yin that day. I told you to look into that thing too," said Lau looking at Lan Zhan.

"I did. There's nothing suspicious about her," said Lan Zhan.

"She's a clever woman. She loves Xian so she can be the one who actually planned all this," said Lau and crossed his arms.

"How can you be so sure?"asked Lan Zhan, looking at him.

"The way she talks. Don't you think she would've been jealous when Xian married Mishi?"asked Lau.

"Hm...that can be one point. But we don't have any proof that she's behind all this," said Lan Zhan.

"Hmmm", mumbled Lau Lan and laid down on the bed. "I've told Mark to observe her," said Lau.

"Hey he loves her. Even if she has some faults he won't see them," said Lan Zhan and turned his head to him.

"You're wrong. Mark loves Xian more than her love for Yin. That's why he agreed with Xian on his forced marriage with Mishi. He will find the things about Yin," said Lau Lan and switched off the lights.

Xian was lying on the bed and looking at the ceiling. "Mishi when will you return? I'm missing you every second, every minute, every time. I want to take you to the dinner date, a candle light dinner. I want to do every single thing for you that you deserve just come back."

Xian got up from the bed and went towards the table and picked his laptop from there. He started working on it. "She will return when she will see me at the number one position," murmured Xian. The entire night Xian worked on the project.

"Mishi actually there's a party and I'm thinking of taking you there," said Yuwan with a smile. Mishi who was sitting on the couch in the living room turned to him. "Party? But I don't go to parties," said Mishi.

"Mishi, it's a business party. You've to gain knowledge on how to attend those business gatherings, it will help you a lot," said Yuwan.

"Okay," said Mishi and smiled.

"Then we've to purchase a good dress for you… we will go tomorrow to buy something good for you," said Yuwan with a smile.

"Yuwan thank you for doing things for me," said Mishi.

"Hey it's fine. You're like my family," said Yuwan and smiled. Mishi felt happy hearing this. The doorbell rang. Mishi told him that she'll open the door. She got up from the couch and walked towards the door. As soon as she opened the door a girl stepped inside and frowned seeing her.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?", asked the girl. Hearing the voice Yuwan came there and said, "Xia" and happily hugged her. Xia hugged him back and they released each other.

"Who is she?", asked Xia looking at Mishi.

Yuwan went towards Mishi and said, "She's Mishi Xin. Mishi, she's my childhood friend Xia." He smiled looking at them. Mishi greeted her.

"So you're that assistant who had his phone," said Xia with a raised brow.

"Ahh….Xia there's a long story behind this. I told you that I saved a girl a year ago and she's that girl. Look she has recovered," said Yuwan with a warm smile on her lips.

"Oh that's great. So you will talk with me standing here, near this door?"asked Xia with a raised brow.

"No….let's go inside," said Yuwan and took her inside. Mishi followed them. "Would you want to take something to drink?"asked Mishi looking at Xia.

"Give me water," said Xia with a smile. "Thanks." Mishi nodded and went to the kitchen and brought water for Xia. She gave water to her.

"You work here as a maid?"asked Xia.

"Hey Xia. Don't say such things. She lives here. Aunty has gone home for some days that's why she's doing this," said Yuwan.

"My apologies," said Xia looking at Mishi.

"It's fine," said Mishi. "I'm going to sleep….goodnight," said Mishi, looking at Yuwan. He then walked away.

"You are keeping a woman here? I mean why isn't she going home?", asked Xia looking at Yuwan.

"She doesn't want to," said Yuwan.

"What? Don't tell me you're keeping her here," said Xia with a surprising look.

"She will stay here as long as she wants. And now you won't ask any questions related to her," said Yuwan and laid his head back on the couch.

"You're acting weird. You never did this before," said Xia looking at him.

Yuwan turned his head to her and asked, "What do you want to say?"

"That you're acting weird….You brought her home and now you're not letting her go," said Xia with a strange look.

"That's because she's my patient. You don't know her condition for a year. She started talking with us two days ago. For the whole year I saw her crying. She never uttered a word in one whole year," said Yuwan.

"Oh. But what about her family then?", asked Xia.

"She had no family," said Yuwan.

"Yuwan you're kind and generous. Maybe she's trying to woo you," said Xia.

"Xia please. She's not like those girls. She has a pure heart. Let's now talk about that from now on and you won't ask her anything. She was in trauma so it's better not to ask her anything unless she tells herself," said Yuwan.

"Okay. See you at tomorrow's party," said Xia and got up from the couch.

"Okay then," said Yuwan and got up from the couch and saw her off. He came back and went inside his room.
