Xian looked at Mishi waiting for her to say something. Mishi turned herself towards the mirror, trying to calm down herself.

"Xian, why are you doing this?," asked Mishi. Her hands were on the dresser table and she wasn't looking at Xian.

"Mishi, you told me many lies not once but many times. You know that I always trusted you even when I didn't have feelings for you. Yes, I know everything, every single thing which you used to run away from me. Why did you agree to Yin that day? When Yin was blackmailing you, you should've told me right away. She is my friend so I would've handled her in my own way. You thought I wouldn't have trusted you that time?," muttered Xian.

Mishi remained silent, still at the position. Xian put his left hand behind his head because of Mishi's silence. After a while he said, "I was going to confess my feelings to you that day. I got angry because I was hurt when you demanded divorce. I know I should've controlled myself. That day instead of telling the truth you run away. Mishi is this your love for me? Keep on running away from the one who you love."

Xian kept on explaining himself while Mishi was just listening to him. She didn't say any word to him.

"After Yin was arrested and punished you kept pushing me away from you. I know the truth now, Mishi. Even if you lie I won't listen to you because I know you love me."

Xian grabbed her hand gently and made her turn to look at him. His heart broke when he saw Mishi's face covered with tears. "Don't cry because of me," mumbled Xian and hugged her. He caressed her head lovingly. "I should've come to you earlier. Forgive me for being late," mumbled Xian and kissed her forehead.

"Xian, this wasn't the only reason," murmured Mishi. Xian released her and looked at her. Mishi looked at her and said, "because there were many reasons Xian. Indeed I agreed to Yin because your life is important to me. Xian, I don't know what I should do." She wasn't looking into her eyes. Xian then said, "let's talk about everything from the start. What are those reasons etc etc. I'll listen to you and then I'll explain myself."

"I want to be alone for now," murmured Mishi.

"But your engagement, it's going to start in the next fifteen minutes," mumbled Xian looking at his watch. Mishi then raised her head. Looking into Xian's eyes she said, "Xian, I don't want to talk right now. I need time. Please, I want some time."

"What should I do then? I won't let you engage today with him," mumbled Xian. He grabbed her arms gently. Mishi looked at him and then said, "I need time to think." Stating this Mishi released her arms from him. A sudden knock at the door broke their eyelock. "Mishi, what are you doing inside? Why have you closed the door? Are you okay?," asked Yuwan loudly, knocking at the door.

Mishi looked at Xian and then told him to go away from the door next to the left wall. She pushed him and made him go out of the room. She quickly checked herself in the mirror and then opened the door.

"Why did you close the door?," asked Yuwan. Yiaolin too came there. Mishi looked at Yuwan and then said, "I want to talk with you." Yiaolin looked at them and walked away from there.

Mishi sat on the chair. Yuwan shut the door behind him and sat beside Mishi. For ten minutes Mishi remained silent. After that she broke the ice. "Yuwan, you always supported me in my decisions. You also know why I agreed on engaging with you."

"It's fine, Mishi. I can understand," murmured Yuwan. Tears started flowing from Mishi's eyes and she lowered down her eyes. "I don't know what I should do." She started rubbing her fingers and continuously cried. Yuwan held her hand and said, "you love Xian. It's simple. Why are you still refuting your feelings for him? I know dad wants you to settle down with me and you're bound by a father's love too. But Mishi your heart still beats for him. Indeed I love you but I think my love isn't that strong. I told Xian about your engagement because Mishi you are forcing this on yourself. I thought by separating you two it won't be good for me because you will never love me with the same heart as you love Xian. Don't worry I'll settle our everything. I've not sent the invitations for any of the people." Mishi looked at him.

Yuwan smiled and said, "I've planned this the day you and I talked about your divorce. You told me why can't you be with Xian. That day I thought till early morning about the things you told me. I could've stopped that divorce earlier but I didn't because I want you to relieve yourself from such a marriage which all started with revenge and hatred. Indeed Yin blackmailed you but you thought she could harm him later and you maintained your distance with him. I've talked with my father about this and today there will be an engagement but it will be yours and Xian's. I always want my lucky charm to be happy."

Mishi was still crying so Yuwan embraced her in a warm hug. "Cry today as long as you want to but after today I will never see a single tear in your eye," mumbled Yuwan.

"Forgive me for playing with your feelings too, Yuwan. Forgive me. Forgive me," murmured Mishi while sobbing. Yuwan wiped the tears from his eyes and then smiled, patted her back gently.

"Why aren't guests coming?," mumbled Lan Zhan. Mark looked at Xia. Lau looked around and found Xian who was standing with a support from a pillar.

"Sister Xia, why aren't there any guests? Wait why isn't uncle Ying here?," asked Chunhua.

Mark went to Xia and asked her," why aren't the guards coming? What's going on?" Everyone looked at her with many questions in their minds.

Yuwan came downstairs and said, "There's no engagement today." Everyone looked at him with shocking faces. Lan Zhan and Lau looked at each other. "What do you mean by this that there's no engagement?," asked Mark.

"I don't want to engage with her. How can I engage her when everyone knows whom her heart beats for? I can't tell you now everything related to this. Let's wait till they both decide what they have to do?," mumbled Yuwan. Chang smiled hearing this but Chunhua wasn't happy.

Hearing these words Xian quickly walked towards Yuwan and asked, "she refused to engage?" Yuwan nodded with a smile. Xian ran from there to upstairs. He was happy that Mishi finally agreed and stopped this engagement.

Xian reached outside the dressing room and pushed the door lightly. As he stepped inside the door he saw Mishi who was seated in a chair but the view of her angelic face was obstructed by her hair. Xian walked towards her and sat beside her on the chair.

Mishi was still unsure what to say and what not to. Many things were going on in her mind when Xian grabbed her hand and then caressed it lovingly. After a few minutes Mishi said, "sorry for lying to you for more than two years. Sorry for hurting everyone around you. I should have told you everything about this Yin when she started blackmailing me but then I was naive, I thought she would kill you. That's why I decided to leave everything behind.

Yes, I came back after two years but because she has tried killing me, I demanded a divorce from you because I was scared. I can't lose the life of the most precious person in my life. Even after she got arrested I had to make sure that she won't harm you that's why I demanded divorce to assure her that I'm not living with you and we're departing our ways. I never thought she would tell you everything," mumbled Mishi.

Xian was heartbroken hearing this. "Why do you have to go through such things? Who can hurt me when your love always protects me? Sorry for every single thing I did to you. Let's forget about that, we started with revenge . Let's start fresh. A life full of love for each other. Sorry for making you suffer these things all alone," mumbled Xian and kissed her hand. He then put her hair behind from the front. Mishi looked at him. Xian wiped her tears and caressed her cheek with his thumb.

Both were looking at each other with love which was visible in their eyes. Mishi then leaned closer to her and said, "I'm sorry and I love you" and she kissed Xian's cheek. Xian was blushed hearing this so put his palms on his eyes and giggled. Mishi smiled at his act when Xian pulled Mishi and hugged her tightly. "I'm also sorry and I love you."
