Yuwan was signing the files related to departmental progress when Xia came there. Greeting him she sat on the chair opposite to him.

"Are you done signing?," asked Xia." Almost done," replied Yuwan. "Is there something important you want to tell me?'' asked Yuwan.

"Hmm. Why aren't you marrying?," asked Xia. Her question was quite blunt and straight for Yuwan.

He smiled hearing her. Putting the files aside he said, "you know my answer. I'm a bit uncomfortable around women. Mishi and you're an exception."

"Uncle wants to see you married. After he got to know that Mishi was the wife of Xian, he lost his hopes of getting to see you married. Try to find someone," murmured Xia.

Yuwan looked at the clock which was showing 12:45 pm. "Xia, I'll see you later. I've to go with Mishi," murmured Yuwan and grabbed his blazer and car keys.

"Where?,'' asked Xia and got up from the chair. "To the central jail. She has to meet her parents' murderers who used to be her best friend's," answered Yuwan.

Xia was startled hearing this. She nodded at Yuwan and then left the cabinet. Mishi was going to call Xian when Yuwan came inside her cabinet.

Seeing him Mishi asked him if there was some work. Yuwan refused and told her that Xian had told him to go with her as he had an important meeting."Thanks. I disturb you every now and then," Mishi said with a disturbed face.

Yuwan shook her head in refusal."You don't need to thank me. We are a part of the family, right? So, Don't thank me. Let's go before we get late," muttered Yuwan. Mishi folded her shirt's sleeves up and then tied her hair.

"Let's go,'' said Mishi and they left for central jail. In the car Yuwan asked her how did Xian find out this. "Well, he knew my father for a long time. Like when he just started his business. Then when we got married he met with my grandma who told him that uncle has nothing to do with my parents' murder. Lan Zhan then investigated the case and found out the truth." Mishi explained to him.Tears formed in her eyes but then she held them back.

Yuwan thought not to say anything for now, else Mishi would break down into tears. After three hours, they reached the central jail and asked for permission to meet. Filling their details in the register they went inside.

Bai was laughing with her jailmates when the jailer came there and told her someone had come to meet her. "Guys, I'll come in a while,'' said Bai and left with the jailer for the meeting room.

As soon as she pushed the door she saw Mishi there. She looked at her but then she turned away her eyes. She sat on the chair there.

For a few minutes Mishi didn't utter a word. "Should I go then?'' asked Bai with disinterest. Mishi looked into her eyes which were showing no remorse of guilt.

Taking a deep breath, Mishi asked, "Why did you do that? Why did you take me signs that day? I trusted you the most in this world."Bai laughed hearing this and said, ''I love myself. I met with Lui Lan who was general manager in SJM. My husband did a lot of hard work to make the projects successful but he was never once appreciated in the gatherings and parties. I think Xian has told you the other things so I won't explain them to you.Well, you're a naive woman who is swayed by people easily. We both aren't different. You ran after my ex as soon as you saw he had money,"muttered Bai Lao.

Mishi couldn't believe that her own friend can be cunning to this level. Tears started flowing from her eyes. Yuwan held his hand to make her composed.

"Who are you? Mishi this is bad. Xian trusts you a lot and you're coming here with another man. Did you…."Before Bai could complete her words Yuwan said, "I'm her doctor."Bai laughed hearing this. "So, you're the one who saved her?'' muttered Bai Lao under her breath.

She then turned her eyes to look at Mishi and said, "I told them to kill you but I think you escape death too." Mishi and Yuwan were shocked to hear this.

"You wanted me to die?'' asked Mishi in a shocking face. "Haha, Mishi. You couldn't even understand that Yin was lying to you. Well, Let's get back. Yes she wanted to kill you but then she was afraid also so I threatened her saying I'll kill Mark and Xian if she won't call the goon," Bai told her.

"The time is over,'' announced the jailer. Bai got up from the chair and was ready to leave when she turned to say something to Mishi."Be careful, Mishi. Your fate might take a turn. What if Xian will die or Chang," said Bai with an evil smile.

Mishi wanted to say something but by then Bai left from there. The tears started flowing from Mishi's eyes and she got terrified hearing Bai.

"Mishi, she was just threatening you,'' mumbled Yuwan and tried making her calm. Mishi immediately took out the phone and called Chang. Chang picked her call in the first ring. "Are you fine?'' asked Mishi."Hmm. What happened?," asked Chang.

"Ahhh, nothing. I asked because you were saying that today was your first case so I was worried," murmured Mishi.

"Don't worry. Sisi, I'll call later as the chief lawyer has asked for me," said Chang. "Ahh, okay. Come home early," said Mishi and hung up. "Mishi, calm down,'' murmured Yuwan. The jail officer came there and told them they should leave. Both came out of the Jail.

"I want to meet Xian. I want to see him," Mishi said in a trembling voice. Yuwan held her face in his hands and said, "she was just threatening you. There's nothing like that. Don't get afraid as you can see she is in jail," said Yuwan and tried making her understand.

"I have to go to Maximus. Until I see Xian with my own eyes I can't get calm," stuttered Mishi. Yuwan wiped her face and said, "Let's go."

Dropping Mishi at Maximus Yuwan left for his office. The guard stopped her saying she must've an appointment card to meet with the CEO.

"I'm his soon to be wife. Look at my finger. We are engaged," murmured Mishi. The tears started forming in her eyes.

"Sorry Ma'am. I can't let you in," stated the security. Mishi called Xian but his phone was off. She told the security to let her in. But he didn't agree. She took out her phone to show her photo with Xian when a voice called her name.

It was none other than Xian Zhang. Mishi turned her face to look at him. Xian looked into her eyes and understood something had happened.

He told Li Wei to clear his evening's schedule and then walked towards Mishi. While Mishi ran towards him and hugged him tightly. Li Wei, the employees, workers etc were shocked to see this. But Mishi had forgotten about her surroundings in that short time.

With a trembling voice she said, "I'm happy you're fine. I thought something had happened to you. That Bai...Bai...She can kill you Xian. I was scared."While sobbing she checked out Xian completely. Xian looked around and the people were dispersed.He gently grabbed her shoulder and took her inside.

He looked at the security. "You're new here so I'm forgiving you this time,'' Xian took Mishi inside. They reached Xian's magnificent cabinet. Li Wei gave water to Mishi and then left from the office cabinet.

Xian rubbed Mishi's hands gently and lovingly. "I'm fine, okay,'' said Xian and gently put her hair away from her face.Kissing her on the forehead he said, " she threatened me too with your name and my family members name. Do you think I'll let her do anything this time?"Mishi looked into his eyes and refused.

Xian wiped the tears on her face with his thumbs and said, "I told you not to cry. It hurts me here."Xian mumbled while pointing towards his heart. "She blackmailed Yin. I made a mistake Xian," murmured Mishi.

Xian looked at her with surprise. "Xian, she was the one who was threatening Yin. Yin didn't want me to die but it was Bai. She can do anything, Xian. She has no remorse. I'm afraid that I trusted her,"muttered Mishi and again broke into tears.

Xian hugged her and patted at her back. "Lan Zhan will look into that. Don't worry and don't cry anymore," mumbled Xian. Mishi leaned back and said, "she even took Chang's name. What if she will…... Xian, I'm terrified.

"I promise you that she won't do any such thing. You believe me right? So trust me. Everything will be fine. I won't let her harm us," stated Xian while composing her and embracing Mishi.
