Xian brought Mishi home and called Lan Zhan. Mishi in Xian's room was trembling after hearing the truth from Bai. "She wanted to kill me and I thought it was Yin. When did things become so complex? When did she start hating me?," murmured Mishi.

Xian looked at her and sat beside her on the bed. "Mishi, I think we've missed something. Let Lan Zhan handle this for now and don't worry she's in jail. I'll tell the rest things to Lan Zhan," murmured Xian and patted Mishi's hands.

Mishi looked into Xian's eyes. "I won't let her harm my family this time. She might've thought that I'll get scared by her but no I'll fight with her till the end. I won't ever let her come out of the jail," muttered Mishi in a serious tone.

Xian smiled seeing Mishi's confidence level. "You've indeed changed a lot. I like your spirit. Let's fight with her together. I'll protect you and our family no matter what." Xian stated to Mishi.

Mishi lifted her hand and placed it on Xian's face. "Thank you for being with me. I was really scared when she said your name. It felt like someone had taken my soul. You don't need to do anything now. Let me handle this because I know her better than you." Mishi requested looking into Xian's eyes.

"Mishi, do you think I'll let you do these things together? Lui Lan is also inside the jail and we don't know what he's planning. If Bai has said this thing to you then it surely means they are planning something. So, don't do anything alone. Let police handle this," Xian told Mishi politely. Mishi put her hand down.

"They have murdered your parents. For many years no one could actually find the truth. So it's not an easy game," muttered Xian.

"Xian is saying absolutely right." Said Lan Zhan who was standing at the door and then came inside. Mishi and Xian turned to look at him.

"There must be someone who is supporting them for a long time and still is supporting them. A bail application is again filed in the court for them today in court but luckily it was rejected. Mishi, Xian don't get involved in this now. Mei Fen and I will look into it." Lan Zhan assured them and smiled.

"Mishi, don't go there to meet her ever again," said Lan Zhan. Mishi nodded and thanked him. Mishi then left Xian's room saying she had to freshen up.

"Why do you think someone is behind them?," asked Xian.

"They can't get escape for years after getting involved in the murder," stated Lan Zhan.

"This thing you should've thought earlier," murmured Xian and put his hand behind his neck.

"Mei Fen and I are looking into it after their arrest. Lui Lan has tried running from the jail," said Lan Zhan.

Xian rolled his eyes and with a shocking look asked, "When?"

"A month ago. Don't tell Mishi. Mishi's father has got an enemy I guess who did this all," murmured Lan Zhan and then got up from the couch. Xian got worried hearing this.

Mishi in her room after freshening up took out her phone and called the lawyer who was handling Yin's release. After having a talk with him she smiled as the court granted her release order.

"Forgive me Yin for thinking you wrong," murmured Mishi and sat down on the bed.

"I've to meet my uncle too because only he can answer many of my questions. He didn't tell Xian everything so I've to ask him why this murder happened?," muttered Mishi under her breath.

Yuwan was working on the computer at his home when his father, Xiu, came inside his room. Seeing his father Yuwan closed the laptop and then walked to him. He made him sit on the fluffy bed.

"You should've called me to your room," murmured Yuwan.

"It's fine. What were you doing?," asked Xiu.

"Ahh, just some office work." Answered Yuwan and rubbed his eyes. "You know that my illness is only increasing with time. I don't even know till when I'll survive. Don't you wanna give your father happiness?," asked Xiu.

Yuwan sat beside him and held his father's hands. "You want me to marry. But whom I should marry. I mean I didn't find any girl for me," murmured Yuwan and passed a smile.

Xia who was passing by Yuwan's room happened to hear their conversation so she stood there to listen more.

"Dad, the one whom I loved was already someone's wife. So what do you think I should do?," asked Yuwan.

"You and Xia also went on a date. Didn't you find comfort around her?," asked Xiu.

"Umm. She is my best friend so I'm always comfortable around her but then we did a plunder on our date that's why we can't be together. I'll think about going on more dates. I'll marry this year so don't worry," stated Yuwan and assured his father.

"I don't want you to marry just for the sake of mine. Well you've to spend your whole life with that person so it's not a compulsion. But I will feel good when I'll see you married," said Xiu. Yuwan nodded and both father and son talked with each other about the other things too.

Xia went inside her room and put the water bottle on the table. She recalled the time when they went on a date. That time Yuwan used to be a doctor and Xia used to work in a management firm.

"You want to go on a date with me?," asked Xia.

"Hmm. Refuse if you don't want to go," murmured Yuwan.

"Well, I always had a crush on you. So, I can't refuse. Let's go then," muttered Xia.

"Umm, I'm coming to pick you up in 30 minutes. Be ready," said Yuwan and hung up the call. Xia was excited for her first date. She got ready and waited for him outside her apartment.

After 30 minutes Yuwan arrived at her place. Yuwan waved at her and gestured to her to come to the other side of the road. Xia crossed the road and after getting into the car they left for a restaurant.

Arriving at the restaurant after an hour, Yuwan and Xia ordered a nice dinner for themselves.

"Well, dad is telling me to marry someone and I really don't know whom I should marry," murmured Yuwan.

"Marry?," asked Xia.

"Hmm. He wants to see me as a married man," said Yuwan and chewed the food. Xia at that time did not used to drink immediately gulped red wine. Yuwan kept on telling her things. After they were done Yuwan told her to get up but Xia fell on the table in support of her head.

Yuwan then understood and carried her out and put her inside the car. He reached her place and tried waking her up. When she didn't wake up, Yuwan carried her and took her inside the apartment.

As he was walking while carrying her into his arms, Xia's eyes opened up and she poked at Yuwan's cheek. Seeing her awake he asked about the password from her and pressing the password he went in with Xia.

As soon as he made her stand up Xia put her arms around Yuwan's neck and then pulling him towards her she kissed him. Yuwan pushed her but she grabbed his shirt's collar.

After much difficulty Yuwan made her release him and stepped back.

"What are you doing?," asked Yuwan in confusion.

"Kis...kissing you," murmured Xia and fell down on the floor.

Reminiscing this thing Xia in the present in her room put her palms on her eyes. "Ahhhh, why I had to kiss him that day????," murmured Xia and fell on the bed.

"This is the only reason I never talked about my love interest in front of him. This thing embarasses me till now," said Xia and banged her legs on the fluffy mattress.
