Lan Zhan was trolling the city with his two fellow colleagues. They were on an undercover mission to find two criminals. As they were in a desolated alley Lan Zhan told one of his colleagues, Zing Bao, to go to the left side with Wen Fao. They both nodded while he took the right side.

"The location according to that man must be here," murmured Lan Zhan and saw the houses which were not in good condition. He kept walking and found another street to the left, so turned that way.

As he was walking a few men came to that direction whispering with each other. He turned his face away and took out a phone, acted as if he was talking with someone. As those men passed by he went in that street when he found his girlfriend Mei Fen hiding behind a pillar of a building.

He ran to her and grabbed her hand. In a low voice he asked, "What are you doing here?"

"What about you?," asked Mei Fen.

"Undercover. You're lucky that I only see you else the way you're hiding here, must've been caught by someone." Lan Zhan whispered and took her from there. They went to the backyard of the building.

"You are also into the same case?," murmured Mei Fen. Lan Zhan hummed at her. "Well, I've found. The two are inside this building. Call your colleagues." Ordered Mei Fen.

Lan Zhan looked at her in surprise. "You came here all alone?," Lan Zhan questioned her. Mei Fen was looking around and nodded her head.

"Are you nuts? What if…" Before Lan Zhan could speak further, Mei Fen grabbed Lan Zhan's collar and pulled him towards her, crashing her lips on her. Lan Zhan was shocked by her sudden act because Mei Fen rarely got romantic with him.

In between the kiss she muttered, "two men are coming...So we have to." Lan Zhan understood and put his hands on her waist pulling her more closer. He took it as a chance to kiss her. Mei Fen was looking at those men who smiled seeing them. After a few minutes they left from there and Mei Fen pushed Lan Zhan.

"This is bad. It was…"

Mei Fen cut Lan Zhan's words and said, "we have to go inside the building. Quickly call your colleagues." Lan Zhan nodded and called Zing Bao, telling him the location.

"Fill your gun with bullets as it will be needed inside," said Mei Fen.

"Don't worry. My gun is filed," said Lan Zhan and took out the gun. They both cautiously entered the building and looking around, they kept walking further in.

The sounds of some people talking in a room, grabbed their attention. They walked towards the room. The building wasn't constructed fully. Lan Zhan stepped ahead and took a glance.

"There are six. Two are the criminals whom we are searching for four months," murmured Lan Zhan.

Mei Fen took out her phone and sent the location to the head centre. "More will come in 15 minutes," whispered Mei Fen. Both remained standing there trying to hear their conversation.

Zing Bao and Wen Fao also reached there. Lan Zhan gestured to them to go to the other side of the room when a man saw Wen Fao and instantly fired the bullet towards him. Luckily Wen Fao dodged the bullet.

But hearing the bullet sound all the men inside the room got alerted. Mei Fen took out the pistol in her hand and shot at the leg of the man who fired the bullet. "Go in," ordered Mei Fen.

Lan Zhan and Zing Bao went inside the room. The men inside the room started firing. Lan Zhan took the chance and shot at the hand of one man. Two of them tried running from the window but Wen Fao injured them. The main culprits ran from the back door. Mei Fen saw this and ran after them while the other got busy with the four men inside.

Mei Fen almost caught one of them when the other fired at her but she hid behind a pillar. A fierce encounter started among them. Lan Zhan ran after Mei Fen as she was alone.

The criminals kept firing at her so she couldn't attack them. "Aish, my pistol has no more bullets." Said one among them and threw the pistol at the floor. The other one told him to run so they started running. Mei Fen ran after them and fired two bullets in their legs. When she heard a bullet sound coming from behind her.

She turned back; saw the bullet was directed towards her and she had no more time to dodge. So she closed her eyes when Lan Zhan came in front of her and the bullet struck inside him, right in the middle of his chest. He fell on the floor.

By then other police officers came there and caught the criminals. "Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan," shouted Mei Fen and patted at his cheek. The tears started flowing from her eyes. Wen Fao came there with two handcuffed men and handed them to the police.

"Call ambulance," muttered Mei Fen.

Everyone was shocked seeing this. Bing Wao almost called the ambulance when Lan Zhan winced in pain. "Ahhh, that bullet has such an impact," muttered Lan Zhan and tried getting up. He saw Mei Fen crying.

"Hey why are you crying? I'm fine. I've worn this bulletproof vest. Thanks Ying Bao for this," murmured Lan Zhan when Mei Fen slapped him hard. The police there were startled by her chief's sudden move.

Lan Zhan put his palm on her face and looked at Mei Fen. "Are you nuts? You did this to make me worry. How could you do this?," murmured Mei Fen and put her forehead on Lan Zhan's shoulder. The police officers turned their faces away and started giggling.

"Hey, it's fine. It was like a shock. All are watching you chief. We told each other not to be romantic in the work," murmured Lan Zhan and then wiped off her tears. Mei Fen stopped crying and got up from the floor. Without looking at anyone she left from there.

Lan Zhan sighed. "Sir, I think you should go after her," said Bing Wao.

"No, let her be alone. She will kill me if I won't go to the police station right now," murmured Lan Zhan and told them to seize the area. They nodded and Lan Zhan left from there with Ying Bao.

Yuwan came home in the late noon and found his father wasn't home.

He saw Xia in the living room watching a tv show. Seeing Yuwan she stood up from the couch and told him that his father had gone to meet his friend.

He nodded and sat on the couch beside her. "So, did you meet them?," asked Xia, turning down the sound volume.

"Hmm. They are good now. Well, I found Yin wasn't the culprit. Mishi's best friend Bai had the hand behind her murder planning," muttered Yuwan.

"That girl sounds very dangerous. It's good that she got caught," stated Xia. Yuwan nodded and then laid his head back. Xia went to the kitchen and after a few minutes came there with a water glass. "Here, drink the water." Said Xia. Yuwan raised his head and took the glass. Thanking her he drank the water and put the glass on the table there.

"So what were you watching?," asked Yuwan.

"A dance. There will be dance on Mishi's marriage," murmured Xia and looked at the screen.

"How can you learn the dance just by watching?," asked Yuwan and gave a slight laugh.

"Umm...I called Qiang. He told me that he will come in a while and will practice with me," said Xia and smiled.

"You called Qiang for this task. He must be busy with his girlfriend," murmured Yuwan. Xia turned to look at him and said, "he said he's free."

"Still you shouldn't ask him. You can ask me," said Yuwan. Xia looked at him and said, "Hey, I tried learning from you a lot but it was a fail."

"Because you practiced for an hour for the prom party. In an hour how could you learn that dance," mumbled Yuwan and laughed.

"Then teach me now. I'll tell Qiang that he doesn't need to come," said Xia and dropped a message to Qiang. Yuwan nodded and told her after he will freshen he will teach her. He went away from there to his room.

After 15 minutes he came there and told her to get up. "Did you watch the video that's being played on the TV?," asked Xia. "I don't need to watch. I know how to dance. Mishi and I used to do a lot." Stated Yuwan and grabbed Xia's hand gently.

He put her hand on his one hand and his left hand on her waist. "Watch out for my steps. Two steps forward and one step backward," murmured Yuwan. Xia nodded and the music was played by him.

They started moving with the rhythm when on the forward step Xia put her left feet on his. "Ahh," screamed Yuwan. "Sorry sorry." Apologized Xia.

"It's fine. Just follow my steps," stated Yuwan. Xia nodded but again and again made the same mistake. After two hours of practice, she finally caught the steps and started dancing with the correct rhythm. Yuwan smiled seeing this.

The two continued dancing when Xia got entangled with his leg and fell down but Yuwan caught her. The two looked into each other's eyes. Yuwan made her straighten up and said, "this will be the last practice. Let's go." Xia nodded and they again followed the steps.

"Perfect," complimented Yuwan. "Finally, You've learnt this. I'm tired now," murmured Yuwan and got seated on the couch. Xia stepped toward to sit there when her foot got stuck in the floor mat and she fell over him.

She rested her hands on Yuwan's broad shoulders. Her hair were all over Yuwan's face and they both stared at each other.
