Mark told Chunhua that she should tell her family but Chunhua said she will handle this. "What are you saying? Your manager is coming here. It's been taken to the media so you need to answer a few questions too. Well, don't worry about those photos. Just a normal questioning why did they blackmail you," muttered Mark.

The doorbell rang and Mark told Chun to stay there as he would open the door. After a minute he came inside with the manager. "Chun, what am I hearing? Why didn't you tell me?," asked her manager, Jinhue (her original name).

"Jinhue, I wanted to but I was scared," murmured Chunhua and lowered her eyes. Jinhue patted her back and told her such things happen. "Well, we have to go to the police station. Those kids are already investigated. They told the entire truth to the police so there's nothing much to worry," stated Jinhue.

Chunhua smiled slightly when the doorbell rang. Mark walked out to open the door when he saw Xian and Lau Lan there. "Where's Chun?," asked Xian worriedly and got in without listening to Mark.

As he entered the living room, he saw Chunhua. "Chun," whispered Xian and embraced her in a hug. "Are you okay?," asked Xian.

"Yes brother. I'm alright. Brother Mark and sister Mei helped me," said Chunhua. Xian released the hug and then caressed her face. "You should've told us too. But I'm happy you told Mark. Well, Mishi and Chang along with your family are also coming," said Xian.

"Mr Zhang, you can stay here as we have to go to the police station. She's a known celebrity so we will take her there. Talking about her family, they should wait here," stated Jinhue.

"You're saying right. We are also coming," muttered Xian.

"Of course you can. Let's go," stated Jinhue. Xian and Lau Lan left for the police station with them. Mark stayed behind to inform Mishi and her family about the incident.

Chunhua reached the police station and saw the people who were actually blackmailing her. It was none other than Mingmei who once betrayed her when she was 16 years of age. The police inquired a few questions from Chunhua and then told her that she can go as they accused had accepted their crimes.

Jinhue did the other paperwork in the police station and took out Chunhua along with her bodyguards. The media was going crazy there. Many fans reached outside the police station to support Chunhua. Xian and Lau Lan gor into the SUV along with Chun.

"It's alright. Everything is fine now. From now on do tell us such things beforehand. What if you would've gone there? Mei Fen is also injured because of those kids. Mishi will surely scold you so don't take her talks to your heart," muttered Xian.

Lau Lan was caressing Chunhua's head lovingly. "You don't even come home. Come home, live with us for a few days. I know you're a celebrity now but family is family," said Lau Lan.

Chunhua nodded and thanked them. Jinhue came inside the car and then told Chunhua that everything's fine. Jinhue then told the driver to drive.

Mishi and Chang were really scared after hearing the truth from Mark. Her uncle and aunty were also worried. "Chun didn't even tell me. It's my fault not to come here for so many days," muttered Chang and clenched his fist.

"It's all my fault. I forgot that my siblings are also there. I didn't even see her for two weeks, neither did I spend time with you two," muttered Mishi and started crying.

"As your guardian it's my responsibility but I failed too," murmured Yaixi. The doorbell rang and Mark went to open the door. Chunhua came inside along with her; Xian and Lau Lan. As they entered the living room, Mishi immediately hugged Chunhua.

"Are you okay?," inquired Mishi, still hugging her.

"Hmm. I'm fine Sisi," replied Chunhua in a low voice. Mishi released her and asked why she didn't tell her or Chang and then put her palms on Chunhua's cheeks.

"Sisi, forgive me. I never thought this would happen," muttered Chunhua. Chang came forward and asked, "is it the same girl who betrayed you when you were in high school?"

Everyone looked at them in confusion. "Who betrayed you?," asked Lau.

"Sisi, do you remember when I asked you for money for competition? You really worked hard to earn that money but I gave that money to Mingmei as her mother was supposed to make me enter an agency, but that was a fraud. Chang didn't tell you about that because I told him not to, else you would be angry.

The same girl was blackmailing me as I reached this level. Chang used to tell me I shouldn't be friends with her but I never listened to him. Because of me, sister Mei is injured. Forgive me for making you all worried," said Chunhua and started crying. Chang caressed her back.

"I think Chunhua should spend some time with her family. We are giving her 2 weeks leave," muttered her manager, Jinhue. Mishi thanked her and they all left from there.

Xian took Mishi aside when she was going to get into her family car. "What happened?," asked Mishi.

"Don't blame yourself. I know you'll blame yourself for the things you haven't done. It's fine...that time things were difficult for you," stated Xian and wiped off the tears from her cheeks.

"Xian, I didn't spend time on them so I should be blamed. What if Chunhua would be hurt? I would've never forgiven myself. They both are a part of my soul. When I heard in the news that Chunhua was being blackmailed my heart sank," reasoned Mishi.

"I know. Then I should be blamed too; everyone related to Chunhua should be blamed but no we can't. Blaming will not result in any good. I have decided something. Tomorrow we will go out with them for a picnic. Let's spend time with our families too. And don't cry else I will also come there and then your cousin will be angry at me," muttered Xian and smiled.

Mishi slightly laughed hearing him. "You look good when you smile. Don't cry because my heart aches when you cry. Now, go home and have a good rest," stated Xian. Mishi nodded and went away from there.

After Chun left with her family, Xian told Mark that he should leave for home to take some rest. Lau and he would go to the hospital to meet Mei Fen to which Mark agreed and drove away from there to his home.

"Let's go," said Lau and they both left for the hospital.

"This area is swollen because of the blow from the rod. Don't give stress to your arm for a week. You need a rest. You're lucky That your shoulder didn't hurt," stated the doctor. He then walked out of the room, leaving Lan Zhan and Mei Fen behind.

"I was again late," murmured Lan Zhan and then held her hand as she was wearing the shirt. He slid the shirt above and then buttoned it up, leaving the topmost buttons open. "Forgive me," said Lan Zhan.

"It's normal in this job, isn't it? Last time when that bullet hit you my world turned upside down but you had worn the bulletproof jacket. Our job is so difficult to handle but I'm happy that you understand me and stay beside me in every situation. You know how strong I am so don't get worried about me," murmured Mei Fen.

"I know you're strong. You always hide your pain here, inside your heart. I feel really proud that such a strong girl loves this weak guy," muttered Lan Zhan.

"What are you saying? You're a strong man," stated Mei Fen to which Lan Zhan refused. "Because my woman is strong, that's why I'm strong. I won't say don't get hurt because it's our job but I would like to say that don't let yourself hurt. Don't do dangerous tasks alone," said Lan Zhan.

"Hmm, I will keep that in my mind," whispered Mei Fen. Lan Zhan got close to her. They both looked into each other's eyes with their lips inches apart. "I want to kiss you," whispered Lan Zhan. His hot breath brushed against Mei Fen's lips.

"You can," permitted Mei Fen. Lan Zhan placed his lips on Mei Fen's. The kiss was a light one when the door fell open and then both immediately released each other.

"I'm really sorry. Please continue what you two were doing," muttered Xian and was going to close the door when Mei Fen said, "we were just kissing. You can come."

Xian smiled and got in with Lau Lan. Lan Zhan got up from the bed and glared at Xian who smiled at him. "You also ruined my moods many times with Mishi, " murmured Xian and smiled.

"Are you okay?," asked Lau, looking at Mei Fen.

"Hmm. I've given a week's rest. Minimal arm movement, " replied Mei Fen.

"Let's go to our home. Mom is there so we will take care of you in a better way," offered Xian. Lan Zhan too agreed with him.

"I don't want to disturb…" Lau Lan cut her words. "You're a part of our family, Lan Zhan's soon to be wife. We won't listen to you else mom will come to your house. Yes, it's her order to bring you home," stated Lau. Mei Fen smiled and agreed on that.
