In the early morning, both Xian and Mishi left for Shandong airport to take the flight for Chengdu. In Chengdu Weng Wei came to pick them up. "Why did you all leave us alone there?" Mishi inquired from Weng Wei.

"So that you two can enjoy," replied Weng Wei with a smile.

"We indeed enjoyed each other's company a lot," said Xian and looked at Mishi. They got into a taxi and left for Shan Lui Hotel Mark and Yin Mei's wedding.

As they arrived there, Weng Wei told Xian that he would drop Mishi to her room and he should call Lau Lan. Xian nodded and left from there. Xian called Lau Lan and told him to come to the reception.

Lau Lan after five minutes came there. He walked near Xian and asked, "So did you succeed in bringing her closer to you?"

"Of course, she got angry earlier and wasn't talking with me. Ahh, Lan Zhan was going to be scolded by her. She was very angry but then I composed her," stated Xian.

"Mishi's anger we have seen. She rarely gets angry but when she does, then it's really tough to make up with her," said Lau Lan. Xian nodded and asked him about Mark & others.

"Umm. Mark is busy in selecting a wedding dress for Yin and him. The designers are getting irritated because since yesterday he wasn't able to choose anything," said Lau Lan.

"Mark is always confused about these things. I know him. For a minute he will like one thing and the other minute his choice will change," said Xian. They both reached the elevator and entered inside. Lau Lan pressed the 12th floor button and the elevator was closed.

"Well, Liling would've met Mishi by now. She will start doing her work. From Mark and Yin's marriage I guess your memories will also come back," asserted Lau Lan.

Xian smiled hearing him and said, "if it would happen then I won't let Mishi go away from me even for a second."

"Hmm. Some of the memories are painful too. You two indeed had a tough time. You tortured her in the past but then you start falling for her. You will feel bad recalling those memories along with your memorable happy moments," stated Lau Lan.

They reached the 12th floor and the elevator opened up. Xian looked at Lau Lan when he told him that he tortured Mishi. "How could I torture the woman I love?" Xian inquired.

"You did because you were naive that time. But now you don't have to think about that. You both love each other so much that those hurtful memories don't matter ," said Lau Lan while patting Xian's arm. Xian nodded and they left for the booked room for Xian.

Mishi entered the room which was booked for her when she saw a woman there and got confused. For a second, she thought she was in the wrong room when the woman called her name.

"Do you know me?" Mishi asked, releasing her grip from the handlebar of her trolley bag when the woman hugged her tightly.

"I'm Liling. I'm your friend but I guess you forgot me. Lau Lan told me that you lost your memories. Sorry for being late to come to you," said Liling and pulled away.

"You know Lau Lan?" Mishi asked.

"Yes. He and I are in a relationship," replied Liling with a smile. Mishi too smiled hearing her.

"Come have a seat. You must be tired. I have many things to tell you," said Liling excitedly.

"Like what?" Mishi questioned, putting away her sling bag on the table there.

"Be patient. Well, I got to know you and Xian are together," said Liling in a teasing tone. Mishi blushed hearing her and asked, "is he telling this thing to everyone?"

"No. It's visible on your face," stated Liling with a smile.

"I agreed only to date him. It's not like-"

"That means you two are a couple. Wow! You two look good together," said Liling and handed her the water glass. Mishi thanked her and two continued talking with each other when a knock on the door disturbed them.

"Mishi, I'll open the door. Be seated," said Liling and went to the door. She opened the door, found Chunhua and Mei Fen at the door. She told them to come and told Mishi about them.

Mishi got up from the couch, when Chunhua and Mei Fen came there. Mishi hugged Chun and told her to sit. They all started talking with each other.

"Just met Mark and he's so happy. You won't believe Mishi, Mark and Yin's love was so complicated. Finally they are together," said Mei Fen.

"How was their love complicated?" Mishi questioned, looking at them.

"Sisi, it's like sister Yin wasn't accepting brother Mark's love. But the more interesting thing is that brother Mark never once gave up on his love. He waited for her," said Chunhua.

Mishi nodded when her phone started ringing. She saw an unknown number and excused herself. She went to the balcony and answered the call.

"Hello," Mishi answered.

"Mishi! It's me, Bai. Where are you? I told you to meet me," said Bai from the other side of the phone.

"What happened Bai? Why are you in such a hurry? I mean it feels like you are in some trouble. Are you okay?" Mishi asked.

"I'm in jail," Bai replied. Mishi got numbed hearing this.

"Mishi, come to Beijing. I'm in Beijing central jail. Come soon….I am waiting for you since long. I tried calling you many times but no one let me talk to you. Mishi, we are like sisters but you never once tried contacting me. I really need you Mishi," said Bai in a pleading and broken tone from the other side of the phone.

Mishi got together herself and said, "Bai, I'm coming. Don't worry. I'm coming." Mishi assured her.

"Time is up! Put the phone down," a man said from behind. It was the jailer.

"Mishi, I'm waiting for you. Don't leave me alone like the others did," said Bai and hung up the call. Mishi looked at her phone.

"Why is she in jail? What happened to her?" Mishi thought when Mei Fen came there. "Mishi, are you okay?" Mei Fen asked.

Mishi smiled and nodded. She went in and sat on the couch. "Why did she say no one let her meet me? The way she was talking it seemed her family is no longer with her. But why is she in jail? What she has done," Mishi said to herself when Chunhua shook her up.

"Uhh," a voice came from Mishi's throat and she looked at Chun. "What are you thinking, Sisi?" Chunhua asked. Mei Fen and Liling too looked at Mishi.

"Nothing," said Mishi with a slight smile. "Actually, I'm tired. I think I should rest," Mishi muttered.

"Then you should take a rest. We will come later to here," said Liling. Mishi nodded. Mei Fen, Chunhua and Liling left the room. Mishi closed the door and came inside.

"If I will go like this then they will be worried. I should talk with Mark and then leave for Beijing. Bai told me not to tell anyone so I won't do that. I've to take Zhao's help," murmured Mishi and called Zhao. Zhao didn't answer her call so she thought to talk with Mark first.

She called Mark who answered her call in a second. "Mark, sorry to call you out of sudden. Mark, I've to leave for Beijing urgently so I won't be able to attend your marriage. I hope you'll understand," asserted Mishi.

"But why?" Mark asked.

"I can't tell you now. It's something private. Please don't tell anyone about this as I'm leaving for Beijing now," said Mishi.

"Mishi, you know that your family is here so-" Mishi cut his words and said, "I know Mark. That's why I told you. I mean I know you can handle the situation well. It's like my childhood friend is in a problem and I've to go as she's all alone in Beijing. Something has happened to her."

"Which friend?" Mark asked.

"I can't tell you now. I'll tell you everything later. Sorry, for not being able to attend your marriage. I will attend your wedding reception for sure. Forgive me that suddenly I-"

"Mishi, it's fine. I can understand. I won't tell anyone. You should go to help your friend. Wait, I'm coming there and from there I'll drop you to the airport," said Mark.

"No, Mark. I'll go myself. Thanks," said Mishi politely.

"Mishi, even if you will refuse I'll come. So stay in your room as I'm coming," said Mark and hung up the call.

Mishi put the phone on the table. "Bai, I'm coming. Just wait for me. I won't leave you behind. You helped me in those tough times when no one did so it's my duty now to protect you," murmured Mishi.
