Xian was sitting on the chair when Mishi told him that he should freshen up. Zhao came inside the room, knocking at the door. Xian looked at him with a glare so was Zhao.

"Why are you glaring at each other?" Mishi asked and stepped down the bed when Xian and Zhao at the same time told Mishi not to step down the bed.

"Mishi, stay in the bed. Aunty is bringing your meals here," said Zhao and then looked at Xian. "You should come with me."

"Why?" Xian asked with a displeasing look.

"Don't you want to freshen up? You smell bad," muttered Zhao with a sharp glare in his eyes. Mishi lightly giggled hearing this.

"Follow me," said Zhao, and walked out. Xian followed him while Mishi was smiling looking at them. Zhao took him to the guest room and gave him clothes.

"Don't do anything to her. I know your hidden intentions," muttered Xian, unbuttoning his shirt.

"If I had to do something then I might've done a long time ago. She has lost her memories all because of you. I've stopped myself all these years because of Mishi only," stated Zhao with anger in his tone.

"You also know that she's my wife so give up on her," said Xian and pulled off his shirt.

"You don't need to remind me," said Zhao and turned to go when Xian said, "I'm reminding you because of that day's incident. You don't need to get close to her, just stay away from her."

Zhao didn't say anything and left the room. Xian went inside the washroom. Zhao on the other hand went to the kitchen. He saw that maid aunt was done making the dinner. "I will take it upstairs. You don't need to trouble yourself," said Zhao and carried the tray to Mishi's room.

Mishi was looking at her phone when Zhao came inside. Mishi put the phone down and thanked Zhao for taking care of her. "Mishi, you dint need to thank me," said Zhao, putting the tray on the table there. He picked the soup bowl and handed that to Mishi.

"No, Zhao. I am grateful to you. You are a caring friend who is close to me. Sorry, I can never reciprocate to your feelings," said Mishi, looking into Zhao's eyes.

"I know. You don't need to tell me. Drink your soup and take your medicines. You need a good rest," stated Zhao, gesturing her to drink the soup. Mishi nodded and started drinking the soup.

"I am a bad friend. I wish I could make everyone happy around me. Zhao always stands beside me in my ups and downs but I never did anything for him. I am using him, sometimes it feels like that. I remember the time when he proposed to me but what happened after that I don't remember. Those eight years long memories, I have lost them and I don't know how I will get back those memories." Mishi thought while drinking the soup. Once she was done, Zhao gave her the medicines and told her to lie down.

"Thank you, Zhao." Mishi expressed her gratitude. Zhao smiled and was going to turn off the lights when Mishi said, "Go to your home." Zhao looked at her and then refused to say he would go in the morning as he was tired. Mishi couldn't say anything further and told him to rest. Zhao nodded and turned off the lights there. He walked out of the room, closing the room behind him.

As he was going downstairs he saw Xian was coming upstairs. He blocked Xian's way and said, "Don't disturb her as she's sleeping." Xian ignored him and stepped up when Zhao grabbed his arm tightly. "Let's talk," Zhao said and dragged him downstairs.

"Stop dragging me. I can walk too. Moreover, I don't want to talk with you," muttered Xian and tried releasing his arm from Zhao's grip but he didn't let him go. They reached inside the guest room when Zhao pushed Xian and then quickly locked the door from inside.

"What are you doing?" Xian shouted at him and tried opening the door but it was locked. Zhao slid the keys inside his pants pockets and sat on the bed. "There's no use to bang on the door. No one will come here. Now, none of us can go out of this room till tomorrow morning. Now, let's talk," stated Zhao.

Xian turned to him with an angry look as if he would beat Zhao. "What non-sense game are you playing? Open this door," muttered Xian.

"This door will only open in the morning," asserted Zhao.

"What do you want to talk about?" Xian asked.

Zhao looked at him. "Why she always cries for you? Why she only sees you when you are the reason for her pain in the past. She started loving you despite knowing the fact that you only wanted your revenge from her. Why?" Zhao asked.

"I don't remember the past. I only know the present and I know that I love her more than my life," said Xian.

Zhao laughed at him, hearing those words of Xian. "If you had loved her, then you would've protected her first. First Yin tried killing her and then Bai. The day when you two married, I only wanted one thing from you. I told you to take care of her but what did you do? You almost killed her. Because of you she was lying in the hospital, covered in blood. My heart almost stopped seeing her in that condition.

I love her a lot and you can't even imagine how much I love her. I gave up my feelings because she loves you but what you did? - Almost put her life in danger. Now, I want to make her mine-" Xian looked at him confusedly.

"But I know she can't be mine. She is your wife. I wish I could turn the time back and use my chance to make her fall for me. Alas! I can't do that," muttered Zhao and rubbed his eye.

Xian wanted to speak, to explain himself but hearing Zhao's talk he started feeling guilty Gathering his courage he said, "I don't know what happened between us in the past-" Zhao started laughing. "How could you forget everything you did to Mishi? Huh?" Shouted Zhao and got up from the bed.

He grabbed Xian's collar and threw a punch at him. "How dare you to involve her in your messed up life? What if she would've died that day? Do you have any idea what wrong have you done? Who told you to underestimate Bai and let her freely roam around you?" and punched Xian again that he fell to the bed.

"How dare you let Mishi hurt? I hate your presence around her to the core of my heart but what can I do when she loves you only. The only thing I can expect from you to protect Mishi because it hurts when I see her hurt. She told me not to tell you why did she come today but I have to tell you. Bai called her today. She told many things to her and revealed you two are married." Zhao said.

Xian immediately got up from the bed. "What do you mean?" Xian asked while wiping off the blood from his lips.

"Let's go to jail tomorrow. We have to talk with her and her ex-husband. Mishi was crying badly after meeting her," Zhao said and sat on the chair there.

"Thanks for beating me up. I needed this. We have to meet Bai to know what she has planned this time," muttered Xian.

"She has lost her mind. I talked with the jail officer and he told me that she has injured the three jail mates. He told that if she won't stop doing such things then she would be sent to the mental asylum," said Zhao.

"She is a clever and cunning woman. She can do anything to come out. Let's go tomorrow only then we can know what's going on in her mind," said Xian.

Mishi in the room was thinking about her meeting with Bai. "Why was she telling me that she didn't kill my parents? Zhao told me that she indeed was behind my parents' accident. She tried killing me twice. When did our friendship take such a turn that hampered both of our lives?

Xian is my husband and he is not confessing the truth to me. At least he should tell me that I am his wife. He should take me back but he's not doing anything instead of playing girlfriend- boyfriend games with me.

Zhao is also in trouble because of me. I know his parents are telling him to marry but because of me, he isn't ready to marry. Should I talk with him? Yes, I will talk with him about this because I can't see him hurt because of me." Mishi thought.
