The Revenge Turned To Love Chapter 213

The phone was vibrating in Zhao's pocket which disturbed his sleep. He reached out to his pocket, took out the phone to answer it. "Hello," said Zhao in a low voice.
"Come home with Miss Feng," from the other side told his father Lee Shan, and before Zhao could say something he hung up the call. Zhao opened his eyes and found Zhu Rui was there. Her head was resting on the couch while she was in a deep sleep.
"When did she come here?" Zhao thought and sat up on the couch. He reached out his hand to put away the hairs which were on Zhu Rui's face thus in some way disturbing her sleep.
Then he got busy with the phone and messaged his secretary to bring clothes for him and Zhu Rui. Getting down the couch, he carried Zhu Rui in his arms and placed her gently on the couch. After that, he walked inside the washroom to take a bath.
Getting freshened up, taking a warm shower, he put the bathrobe on and came out of the washroom. The first thing he did was call his secretary about the clothes. He went to the door as his secretary was at the door. He took the clothes from him and told him to wait in the car.
Zhu Rui's sleep broke and she sat up on the couch. She had closed her eyes and had put her hand under her chin. Zhao after talking with his secretary came in, did not notice that Zhu Rui was woken up, his back was towards her, and started wearing the clothes.
He put on the pants first and took off his bathrobe. He turned with his t-shirt half inside his arm when he saw Zhu Rui was staring at him. Her eyes were turned big as she saw the upper naked body of Zhao.
They both continued staring at each other when Zhao slightly turned back, put on the t-shirt, and then quickly turned back.
"How much have you seen?" Zhao asked angrily.
"Uh- um. Just when he tired that bathrobe away and st-start wearing-" She stopped as Zhao marched towards her with a bag in his hand. "Go, freshen up as we have to go home urgently," stated Zhao, forwarding the bag. Zhu Rui took the bag from him and walked towards the washroom and got in.
After 15 minutes she came out, her hairs were dried when she told Zhao that he should dry his hair too. "It's fine, we are getting late," muttered Zhao. Zhu Rui nodded and they both left the hotel.

In the car, there was complete silence when secretary Hoon told Zhao that their marriage was going to happen soon. Zhao who was reading something on his iPad raised his head to look at him. Zhu Rui too looked at him when Zhao asked, "when?"
"This week. So, you do not need to come to the company as I have shifted the scheduled meetings to the later dates," asserted Secretary Hoon. Zhu Rui was happy to hear that and turned to look at Zhao whose expressions were dark.
She continued to stare at him till they reached home. Coming down the car, they went inside the house. As they came towards the living hall, Zhao saw that both families' elders were already there, waiting for them.
They both greeted them when Lee Shan told them to take their respective seats. Thanking him, they sat side by side when Lee Shan opened his mouth to speak.
"Mr. Feng and I have decided along with our wives that we should not delay this marriage further. We will go with a very private marriage ceremony followed by a grand reception," said Lee Shan with a broad smile.
"You both can invite your friends too but only close ones," stated Lee Shan. Zhao observed how his father controlled his life. He asked about the marriage day which was the day after tomorrow. Giving a slight smile he excused himself from there saying he had to talk with an important business client to shift the schedule.
As he came to his room, he threw away the phone in his hand in anger that it hit at the giant dressing mirror and it broke into pieces. Zhu Rui excused herself from there saying she would want to talk with Zhao about inviting their friends.
"Yeah, go. You do not need to ask as he is your soon to be husband," muttered Chynaa with a smile. Mrs. Feng too told her the same. Zhu Rui nodded and left for the room which was upstairs.
She was at the door, so without knocking at it she lightly pushed it away, and stepped in. She turned her left and walked towards the closet as Zhao wasn't in the bedroom. She continued walking in when she saw the broken glass pieces of the mirror there and Zhao was standing in front of the broken mirror.
"Zhao" mumbled Zhu Rui when he turned to look at him. His eyes were red due to the anger or he might have cried in that short time. But Zhu Rui kept a smile on her face as from her end she did not want to fall weak in front of him.

"Are you happy?" Zhao asked.
"Indeed," replied Zhu Rui, looking into Zhao's eyes.
"I do not love you," said Zhao.
Zhu Rui smiled and replied, "but I do. It is enough for one person to love because the other will eventually fall in love after some time." Zhao laughed hearing her explanation and then grabbed her arm, thus pulling her towards him.
"Our married life will be like that broken glass," muttered Zhao, tightening his grip on Zhu Rui's shoulder.
"No, you are wrong. Our married life will be one happy life," Zhu Rui asserted confidently. Zhao tried reading her eyes.
"Why do you think it will be happy?" Zhao inquired.
"Because of my love for you," answered Zhu Rui.
"Why do we not start this relationship of ours with hatred. Should I tell you what's that??" Zhao questioned, pulling her more towards him.
"I would love to. Show me what kind of hate are you talking about? You are a good person who only knows how to care for a person. You can never hate anyone," stated Zhu Rui.
Zhao chuckled. "You will regret being with me," said Zhao.
"No. I think it will be a blessing," asserted Zhu Rui.
Zhao then leaned to her lips and against them said, "let me show you what hate am I talking about." But before Zhu Rui could stop him, Zhao crashed his lips on her. He was sucking them up, biting them and it was felt to Zhu Rui he was hating her. There was no feeling, just hatred. Both of their eyes were opened, staring at each other.
Zhu Rui put her hands on Zhao's shoulder to push him away as he was giving her the pain. When Zhao did not stop, she raised her hand and slapped him. Tears were formed in her eyes but she did not let them roll down. Zhao stopped and pulled away.
Zhu Rui touched her lips and after a while said, "this is not hatred but how you stoop low to show your hatred towards me. If you want to hate me then do but do not touch me in that process. I will not bear that. Indeed I love you but that does not mean you can do such a thing to me. Keep these words of mine in your head."
Zhao felt guilty because he never acted that way until today. "Sorry. I did wrong," said Zhao.
"Do not turn to a person you do not want to be. Just be yourself. If you will ever do such a thing to me then be ready to bear the consequences. It is not only you, who are suffering. I am also suffering because you have become mad for a thing which was never yours," muttered Zhu Rui.
A tear fell from her one of the eyes when she immediately turned back and was ready to leave Zhao's room when Zhao grabbed her hand gently.
"Do you want this marriage to happen?" Zhao asked.
"Yes. I want to," answered Zhu Rui. Tears were pouring down her eyes when Zhao asked further, "then why these tears? Is that not hurting knowing that your husband will never love you."
Zhu Rui wiped her eyes off from the back of her palm and then turned to him to answer his question. "It is not because of that. Why are you so adamant that you will never love me. You do not know the future. It will hurt me but not that much because I will never let him be sad in this married life." Zhu Rui muttered.
Zhao released her hand and again apologized for his early behavior. "I do not want to do that but my hidden emotions burst out like that."
"Then learn to control them instead of using them against a woman or any other person or a thing," assorted Zhu Rui.
