Mishi and Li Wei helped Xian in getting up from the floor. Mishi told Li Wei to take Xian to the car as she was coming. Li Wei nodded and left with Xian from there. Mingmei turned to Shui Zhang who was looking in a different direction. She walked near him and then stopped a few meters away from him.

"Why did you do this? What did you say to Xian that made him like this?" Mishi asked with a glare. Shui Zhang looked at her and said, "I am not in a mood to answer. You should leave."

"I am not going to leave until you answer my questions. Why did you do this? That day too you acted as if you are innocent when Xian and you met. I took Xian as wrong. Do you hate your son that much? You not only hurt him but also mom too. How could you do this? I cannot believe a father like you can also exist in this world. Please I beg you not come in front of us ever again," asserted Mishi and turned to leave when Shui stopped her.

"Forgive me. Please take care of him. This is the only thing I can ask as from you," said Shui and walked past her. Before Mishi could stop him, he left that apartment. Mishi did not pay heed and left the apartment too.

In the car, he saw Xian was in the backseat with closed eyes. She quickly got in and put her hands on Xian's face.

"Are you okay?" Mishi asked. Li Wei started the engine and drove to their home. Mishi controlled her tears not letting them pour down and caressed Xian's head. Xian rested his head on Mishi's shoulder as he wanted a warmness which he could only seek in Mishi's embrace.

Xian recalled how Shui Zhang a moment ago told him something he never wanted to hear. His heart not only ached to hear that but also developed a hatred for his father which could not be expressed in words.

He was holding Shui Zhang's collars when Shui put his hands on Xian's. "You still search for your father; despite he did so much wrong with you and your mother. You are still in the illusion that I will come to you but do you not think it is all because of you that I left you and Biyu. I hate your existence and I never wanted you to be born," muttered Shui Zhang. Hearing this Xian reminisced his old days when he was 6 years old and his father told him the same thing before divorcing Biyu.

His old internal wounds which were buried deep inside his heart came at the front again and he blamed himself for his mother's loneliness. Thinking all this a tear rolled down her cheeks. The pain he encountered just a moment ago was coming in from of tears. Xian was shedding silent tears. His eyes were closed and he snuggled himself closer to Mishi.

Mishi raised her hand and wiped off the tears from his cheeks when Xian said, "let them flow." Mishi looked at him worriedly while Li Wei looked at him from the front mirror. He wanted to speak and tell Xian that he should not cry for a person who did not matter in life but then hearing Xian's sobs he stopped. He found Xian is in more pain that no one can understand.

"Xian, don't," mumbled Mishi and made him look at him. She wiped off the tears from his face and told him to open his eyes. "Do not look at me, Mishi. This is my share of pain and I deserve to live with this pain," asserted Xian. Before Mishi could speak, Xian rested his forehead on her shoulder and said, "I am the reason for mom's unhappiness. I am the reason he left us."

"Xian, do not say such things. If you will say any words like this then I will not talk to you," stated Mishi. The tears were flowing down her eyes as she could not control them.

She cupped Xian's face in her palms and then wiped the tears off his eyes. "I do not want to see you in pain. Your pain is mine, remember. So, do not cry as it is hurting me manifolds," stated Mishi. Xian gradually opened his eyes and looked into Mishi's eyes which were red as she also cried for him.

He laid his head back on the head restraint. "Sorry, to make you worry," said Xian while holding Mishi's hand. Li Wei increased the speed and half an hour later they arrived home. They both took her inside the house. Luckily Biyu and Yin were not in the living room so they did not see Xian in that condition. They took Xian upstairs. Mishi opened the door and Li Wei who was supporting Xian brought him in and then made him sit on the bed.

"Xian, everything is fine. We all love you and your existence is important for us," whispered Li Wei in Xian's ear. Xian looked at him and realized how Li Wei always as a big brother stayed beside him. But the words of his father were still flashing in his mind.

Chang dropped Ru Shi at the College and told her to study hard. Ru Shi nodded, thanked him, and stepped down the car. Chang then left from there. As she was walking on the footpath, a figure stopped in front of him. She raised her head to look at the figure and stumbled back.

"You?" muttered Ru Shi. Gan Dewei smirked. "Are you surprised to see me? Do not get surprised because I have just started," stated Gan Dewei.

Ru Shi did not say anything and walked past him when Gan Dewei grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. The students, who were going inside the gate, looked at them.

"Leave me," muttered Ru Shi while looking at the students there who were watching them.

"Do not be afraid of them," stated Gan Dewei. Ru Shi looked at him with abhorrence and said, "Leave me because I do not want a murderer's filthy touch on me." Gan Dewei glared at her. She pushed him away and ran towards the college gate.

Gan Dewei smiled and left from there. Ru Shi on the other hand reached inside the campus. She was panting heavily and thought of Gan Dewei behind her giving her chills. "I think I should tell Chang. Only he can help me in this weird situation," thought Ru Shi and went towards her department.

Mark was checking the upcoming report for their new project when his secretary, Sean Liko knocked at the door and went inside the cabinet.

"Yes, Sean what's the matter that you came at this hour?" Mark asked.

"Sir, Mr. Shen wants to meet Mr. Xian Zhang urgently. His secretary told us that he wants a meeting with Mr. Xian before signing the deal," asserted Sean Liko.

"What? But the meeting is already done with him. I told him Xian could not attend because of the accident then why out of sudden?" Mark mumbled.

"Maybe he wants to meet the CEO for discussing some important matters related to the deal," opined Sean Liko.

"Umm... I will talk with him. You can go," stated Mark. Sean Liko nodded and left the cabinet. Mark picked his phone and called Xian's number but he did not answer his call. "I should talk in the evening. He must be spending time with Mishi. Ahh, Christmas has come so I should surprise a plan for Yin too," murmured Mark with a smile.

He was searching for some restaurants on the phone for a candlelight dinner when a knock disturbed him. He turned his head to look and found Li Wei at the door. "Why are you standing at the door? Come inside," muttered Mark. Li Wei gave a nod and went to him. He had a serious and worried expression on his face.

"Why are you kind of worried?" Mark asked.

Li Wei took a chair out and sat on that. "Mark, Xian has encountered his father and he is in kind of shock. I do not know but he is only crying after he met his father," Li Wei told him.

"What? How? I am going," said Mark and got up from the chair when Li Wei stopped him. "Do not go. Mishi is with him," stated Li Wei.

"But how did this happen?" Mark asked. Li Wei narrated to him the entire incident.

"Li, how could you make him stay in the same apartment as Xian and Mishi? Moreover, he is not worth that. Why did you help him?" Mark inquired with anger.

"Chang told me. I mean we thought it would be safe. Xian was searching for him and Shufen collected information about his father," asserted Li Wei.

"What? Xian told Shufen to do this? Xian is holding a grudge against his father. I should leave for home. Mishi will not be able to hold him as she does not know anything," said Mark and picked the car keys from the table. Li Wei nodded and told him to also inform him about Xian's condition. Mark agreed before leaving the office.
