Yin came to Mishi- Xian's room to ask them if they needed anything when she found Mishi was sitting beside Xian who was lying on the bed and was caressing his head. Ying was confused and went near Mishi and asked, "What happened?" Mishi gestured to her to keep quiet which made her more confused. After 10 minutes when Xian fell to sleep, Mishi took Yin out of the room.

"Mishi, what happened to him?" Yin asked again.

"Xian met his father today and I do not know what happened. When Li Wei and I reached there, Xian was sitting on the floor there and was crying. I never knew Xian's past was this painful," asserted Mishi and wiped the tears off her eyes.

"He met his father? This is indeed a big issue. Should we tell mom?" Yin asked.

"I do not think so. It is a tough time for us," said Mishi when her eyes fell on Mark who came running inside the house and called for Xian's name. Yin also looked downwards and then ran downstairs. Yin reached near him and whispered something in his ear. He looked upwards and saw Mishi.

Running upstairs he stopped in front of Mishi and asked Mishi to tell everything. Mishi did so and narrated the entire incident. "Mark, it was my mistake too. He used to be my driver and I never knew that person is the painful past of Xian." Saying this she broke down into tears. Yin too reached there and patted at Mishi's back, telling her to be strong.

Mark caressed Mishi's head. "If you will cry then who will keep our Xian strong. I am going inside to look after him. You two should go to Mom. Let's not tell her as it is more painful for her," Mark stated. The two agreed when Mishi told Mark that she wanted to be by Xian's side. He would ask for her once he would wake up.

"Mishi, then go inside. You do not need anyone's permission to be with him. It is just that he becomes emotionally unstable thinking about his past. I have seen him since childhood days and know how to handle him that is why I also want to be by his side." Mark explained to her. Yin told them that she would be with her mother and they two should be around Xian. Mishi and Mark nodded; went inside the room while Yin went

downstairs.

Chang came to Ru Shi workplace, a cafe. He parked the car and then went inside when he saw Ru Shi was taking orders at the counter. He recalled his Sisi who used to work like that when they were in school. He then walked to her when Ru Shi asked him what would he like to order without raising her head as she was busy reading a book too.

"I want a latte," Chang ordered. Ru Shi nodded and went to the machine. Preparing the latte she handed that to Chang, took the card, and did the payment. Through this time, she not once raised her head which amused Chang. She handed him the card. Thanking her he took a seat there and waited for Ru Shi's shift to get over.

He drank the latte while kept reading a file which was about Ru Shi's father's murder by thieves according to the police. Xu Tang messaged him some details about Gan Dewei. The door of the cafe fell open as Gan Dewei entered there. He saw Ru Shi at the counter and went to her.

Ru Shi was again busy with her book did not look at him when Gan Dewei tilted his head down to take a look at her face. Ru Shi raised her eyes and was startled to see Gan Dewei right before her eyes.

"Let's have a coffee," said Gan Dewei with a smile when Chang came there. "Ru Shi, I talked with your boss. He told me that you can leave early. Let's go," stated Chang.

"Boss said so?" Ru Shi asked for confirmation.

"Yes," replied Chang. Ru Shi smiled and went to the changing room, grabbing her book.

"She is mine," said Gan Dewei.

"She is not a thing," asserted Chang. Gan Dewei smirked and said, "I guess you did not learn your lesson."

"I did learn but it is your time to learn some good things. Why do you not surrender yourself and accept your crime?" Chang muttered.

Gan Dewei laughed slightly. "I did not kill her father. I am not a murderer. Earlier too you caught a wrong guy because I did not do anything to that woman," stated Gan Dewei.

"You cannot deny the truth. One day or other it will come out. I still wonder how can your father, who is in the police department let you roam freely," Chang wondered. Ru Shi came by then and told Chang that they should leave. Chang nodded and they turned to leave when Gan Dewei grabbed Ru Shi's wrist and pulled her.

"I told you that let's drink a coffee but you did not give a response," said Gan Dewei, looking at Ru Shi.

Chang went to him and loosened his grip from Ru Shi's hand. "You cannot touch her without her permission," said Chang and jerked off his hand. The people in the cafe looked at them when Chang, grabbed Ru Shi's hand and then took her out from there. As they came out of the cafe, Chang made her sit inside the car and then drove home.

"Why is he after you?" Chang asked.

"I do not know. He even came to my college in the morning and blocked my path. He said he likes me. I am scared of him," Ru Shi said.

"What? Likes you?" Chang mumbled. "Do not worry. I have found something interesting related to the case," Chang told her. Ru Shi was happy to hear that but then she was worried too."

"Chang, what if he will harm your family too? I do not want you and your family to get hurt in this fight," opined Ru Shi.

"I know his father. I talked with him out about this," asserted Chang. Ru Shi was surprised to hear this. "But according to his father, he is not behind your father's murder. He indeed threatened me but he was not behind that accident of brother Xian. That woman whom case I was fighting indeed lied to me about him. This case is quite complicated," stated Chang.

"But he is involved with these cases. My dad even told me his name," said Ru Shi.

"That is to find. Why did your father take his name and why Gan Dewei is involved in all this?" Chang muttered.

"No, don't leave us," Xian murmured in sleep. Beads of sweat were formed on his forehead as he was seeing the day when his father fought with his mother and left them. With a shout, his sleep broke and he opened his eyes. He felt Mishi's hand over his forehead and raised his eyes to look at her who was sitting beside her.

"Are you okay?" Mishi asked. Her one hand was on his chest and the other was on his forehead.

Xian got up to sit on the bed and saw Mark who was sitting on a chair, beside the bed. "Xian, how are you?" Mark asked.

"I am not good," Xian replied and lowered his eyes.

"You want mom to let me know about this?" Mark inquired.

"No, I do not want this thing to be known to her. I am the reason for her unhappiness," Xian answered.

"Then why are you thinking about that man? Do you not think you are affecting yourself only? I know it was a dreadful past of yours but now you should come out of this. You cannot think about that all the time. Are you getting me?" Mark muttered. Mishi was listening to their talks and looked at Xian who was still feeling uneasy. She opened her mouth to speak.

"It is not bad to recall those things," said Mishi. Xian and Mark looked at her. "Xian, it is not bad to recall those things because those memories make you strong. Do you know mom met your father today but she hid the things from you?" asserted Mishi.

"What?" Xian and Mark mumbled at the same time.

"She hid this from you because she wants her child to live happily. She told me that because of you she moved forward in life and what are you doing? Thinking about your father who never thought of you!

Do you not think you should look at your mother for whom you are the most precious thing in this world? Earlier you were saying that you should not have existed in this world. How could you say such a thing just because your father said this thing to you once? What about our mom who turned you into this man? You never thought about this!" Mishi questioned him.

Xian looked into Mishi's eyes and found what kind of son he is who thought the things which his father told him and did not think about his mother in this process. He found his existence made her mother strong. "Thanks, Mishi," saying this he hugged her tightly.
