Xian and Mishi came home with Samuel. Xian out down Sam and told him to go upstairs with Mishi. Biyu and Yin asked him what happened when Xian told them to sit on the couch first then he would tell them everything. After getting seated, they asked Xian again. Xian told them everything that happened in the police station.

"His mother refused to take Sam back with her?" Yin questioned. Xian nodded. "That's why Mishi and I decided to adopt him as our child. We will be his father and mother. This is the best possible thing I could come up with," asserted Xian.

"I am proud of you. It is sad to know that his mother was ready to send him to the orphanage. You both took a good decision. I am proud if you both. Then I am his grandma. This is such a wonderful occasion. I got my grandson," muttered Biyu, keeping a smile on her lips.

"Tomorrow is Christmas so we have got a more big reason to celebrate the Christmas. I am so happy that such a beautiful thing entered our life." Yin expressed her feelings. "Xian, you have become dad. So many happy things are coming our ways now. I pray to God that such moments keep coming in our lives," stated Yin while joining her hands.

"Mom, Yin, I am going upstairs. Sam must be asking for me," asserted Xian and got up from the couch.

"Yes, you should go. Yin is bringing some snacks for you guys," said Biyu. Xian thanked them and walked towards his room. As he entered he saw Sam and Mishi were giggling over something. "Laughing without me," mumbled Xian and walked towards them.

He sat on the bed and planted a kiss on Sam's cheek. "Sam must be hungry," said Xian while caressing his head. Sam shook his head and then touched his belly. Mishi got up from the bed. "I am bringing snacks-"

"Mishi, no need. I have brought the snacks for you guys," Yin announced who just entered their room. She had a tray in her hand when Mishi walked to her. She thanked her when Yin put the tray on the table. Xian carried Sam to the couch and made him sit there. He handed him the orange juice glass and said, "Sam, this is aunt Yin. Say thank you to her."

"Thank you aunt Yin," Sam repeated the words of Xian. Yin smiled hearing his childish tone. "Welcome Sam," replied Yin and told him to drink the juice. Sam did so when Yin said, "They should go for shopping and shop for Sam." Xian and Mishi agreed with her when they heard yawn of Sam.

"Sam is sleepy, I think. Let him sleep for a while then we will go for the shopping," asserted Mishi. Yin nodded and left the room as she had to prepare for the lunch too. Sam ate a few snacks. Because he was tired he rested his head on Xian's and his eyes started closing. "He is sleepy," Xian whispered and took him to the bed. Making him lie on the bed, Xian covered Sam from the blanket. After a few minutes, Sam drifted off to sleep.

Mishi sat on the couch and was drinking the juice when Xian came there. "We have become mom- dad. Responsibilities have increased on us. We have to make him enter a good school," said Xian. Mishi put down the glass on the table and rested her head on Xian's shoulder.

"I have never thought such a cute kid will enter our life," said Mishi and smiled.

"Hmm, even I have never thought. But I am scared too. Will we be able to give him all the love of father and mother? Will Sam consider us their family?" Xian muttered.

"You are a great dad, Xian. The way you took care of him for a past few days made me wonder. But you proved me wrong. Sam has started liking you. I just hope everything will go smoothly because it is dependent on the jury that we have to attend for Sam's custody," asserted Mishi.

"Hmm. Even I am worried for that but Chang told that everything will be fine," stated Xian and put around his arm around Mishi's back. "After sometime Sam will need a sister and Sam's father will want a daughter," said Xian with a smile and looked at Mishi. Mishi immediately raised her head to look at him.

"Do not joke," murmured Mishi when Xian said, "I am serious. I want a daughter." Mishi's cheeks turned beet red upon hearing Xian's words. Xian put his hand on Mishi's neck and then cupped her face. "Our world will be beautiful then. A son and a daughter-" whispered Xian, gazing into Xian's eyes.

"What if it will be a boy?" Mishi questioned.

"No issue from side. I will be happy," answered Xian and kissed softly at Mishi's lips. He pulled away and then stroked her hair.

Zhao and Zhu Rui checked in the Grand Zueri Hotel. Zhao was tried from the travel so as soon as he entered the room; he went to the bed. "I will take rest for a day as I am tired and feeling jet lagged," stated Zhao.

Zhu Rui nodded and went to the balcony. She was awestruck seeing the picturesque mountains surrounding the hotel. She looked down and saw the large pool area where many people were enjoying. She took out her phone and took some photos of her. Looking at them, she came back to the room and went inside the washroom to take a warm bath.

She filled the bathtub with warm water and went inside that. "Wow, it is so soothing," she murmured and closed her eyes. She did not realize when she fell asleep until she felt cold which made her shiver. She opened her eyes and found she was asleep for long that the warm water turned cold. She came out of the bathtub, emptied it and then went to the shower. After showering she put on the bath robe and came out of the washroom.

"He is still sleeping?" mumbled Zhu Rui and looked at the time in her phone. "It was showing 12:05 pm. I slept so much there," she murmured and then sat on the other end of the bed. "Why has he covered his face to from the blanket," she mumbled and moved towards him. She pulled the blanket when she was startled to see that Zhao was not there. He had placed the pillows there and a note was placed over the pillow. She picked that up and read- "Enjoy your one week alone. I will see you on the airport after a week. The money is wired by me in your account already so you will not face any kind of difficulty."

"What? He left me behind," murmured Zhu Rui and tore the paper into pieces.

She came down the bed and looked for the suitcase. Zhao already took away his suitcase and there was only her suitcase in the room. This angered her. She quickly opened her suitcase, took out a dress and put it on.

"How could he do that? I will not spare you Zhao this time," muttered Zhu Rui under her breath. She flipped her hair and then went to the table to pick her phone up. Coming out of the room, she went to the receptionist and asked her if she saw the man who was with her going out from there.

"Ma'am, there are many people who checked in the hotel. Could you please show me the photo? That would help," asserted the receptionist.

"Ahh, sure. Here it is," stated Zhu Rui and showed the receptionist Zhao's photo.

"Yes, Ma'am. This man did walk out from here but I do not know where," answered the receptionist.

"What? Did you not ask him when he was carrying that suitcase with him?" Zhu Rui inquired.

"Ma'am, I asked him. He told me that he has a booked room in the other hotel," replied the receptionist.

"Which hotel?" Zhu Rui further asked.

"Ma'am, I have already told you that I do not know. I did not ask as it is breaking the privacy of a person," reasoned the receptionist.

"Okay, thank you." Zhu Rui thanked the receptionist and walked out of the hotel. She called Zhao but his phone was turned off. "Does he hate me to this extent?" murmured Zhu Rui and put down her hand. "I can enjoy solely too. After a week I will get to see him then I will make him cry," she muttered and walked ahead. She went to the restaurant to fill her stomach as she had not eaten anything since morning.

She ordered the continental food and took a seat. Looking around she found many couples there who were looking so lovely with each other. "This is the worst day of my life," said Zhu Rui in anger.
