"I am not going anywhere. I am tired and I want to watch something important," asserted Zhu Rui.

"I have not asked your opinions. Get ready in 10 minutes," stated Zhao.

Zhu Rui huffed and went to the couch. Zhao went to the cupboard and took out clothes for him. He went inside the washroom and then after 10 minutes came out. He saw Zhu Rui was giggling as she was watching something.

"Get up and get ready," said Zhao. But she didn't listen to him. "Will you get ready on your own or should I make you ready?" Zhao muttered. Zhu Rui looked at him who was staring at her.

"I think I have to make you ready," said Zhao and went to the cupboard when Zhu Rui stopped him. She put the phone down on the table and stood up. Walking towards him she asked, "Why do you want to go out with me? Till yesterday you were avoiding me."

"Then do you want to enjoy the things with that guy with whom you were giggling yesterday?" Zhao questioned with a raised brow.

Zhu Rui chuckled upon hearing his question. "What do you mean?" Zhu Rui asked him.

"In the mall, I saw how you were purchasing a shirt for him and how you become friends with him. It was the first day and you befriended a guy out there not only that you were buying a shirt for him. Nice." Zhao sarcastically pronounced.

"His shirt got stained because of me. So-" Before Zhu Rui complete her words Zhao said, "I am not interested in your explanation. You can do whatever you want to do with the guys out there. Now, quickly get ready as we have to go somewhere."

His comments angered Zhu Rui. "How can you say this? Do you think I came here to enjoy myself with guys?" Zhu Rui inquired him. Tears formed in her eyes. Zhao realized he said something he should not. So, he immediately apologized "I am sorry."

"Do you not think your comments can hurt someone? Never in my life, anyone said such things to me as you are." She could not control the tears and they rolled down her cheeks. She started weeping like a kid which startled Zhao. He realized he did wrong by saying those words. He stepped towards her and cupped Zhu Rui's face in his hands.

Wiping the tears off her cheeks using his thumbs he said "forgive me. I should not have said that. Yesterday when I saw you there with him, it angered me." Zhu Rui stopped crying when Zhao leaned towards her lips and pecked them. Zhu Rui could not believe her eyes when Zhao stroked her hair.

Zhu Rui lightly pushed him off but Zhao did not let her go. "Let me show care towards you. I hardly show." She looked at him with a startled expression. "I do not want your care," she said in a meek voice. Hearing those words Zhao released her and told her to get ready. Zhu Rui took out a dress from her suitcase and went inside the washroom.

Zhao searched up a quiet place for them and booked a table for the dinner in a restaurant. For half an hour, Zhu Rui did not come out of the washroom which wondered Zhao. He got down from the bed, went to the washroom, and knocked at the door.

"Hey, why are you taking so much time?" Zhao asked loudly. Zhu Rui was struggling with the zipper when she heard Zhao's voice. "I am coming in a minute. This zip-zipper," she muttered when Zhao turned the knob and went in. This was not expected by Zhu Rui.

She supported herself from the counter and turned back so that Zhao could not see her bareback. "Who told you can come in like this? I told you that I was coming. Go out," she said. Instead, Zhao strode towards her and reached his hand towards her back.

"Wh-what are you doing?" stuttered Zhu Rui.

"Zipping your dress up. Do you want to stay here till the night?" Zhao questioned. Zhu Rui shook her head in refusal. "Then turn back" he commanded. Zhu Rui turned her back towards him. Zhao put her hair to the front and grabbed the zip. Zhu Rui looked at him through the mirror. Her heart fluttered seeing him but then she recalled his bitter words towards him.

"If you have done staring should we go?" Zhao muttered.

"Who is staring at you?" she murmured and walked out of the washroom. Doing a little makeup, Zhu Rui told him she was ready. Zhao got up from the couch and then they left the room. Getting into a taxi, they left for Tirtha Dining, Pecatu.

After half an hour journey they reached Tirtha Dining where private dining was booked by Zhao. The night stars started appearing in the sky. "Why are we here?" Zhu Rui asked.

"Today is Christmas eve. Let's have a private candlelight dinner," asserted Zhao and told her to follow him. Everything was already set, they two just have to sit to dine. "You confuse me. Your such acts make me love you more instead of hating" These words fell out of Zhu Rui's mouth.

They reached at the floating platform when Zhu grabbed Zhao's shirt lightly. Zhao looked at her and immediately put down her hand. To her surprise, Zhao caught her hand and took her to towards the raising platform. Pulling the chair out, he made her sit on it and then himself went to the other chair.

The seven-course menus were being served to them with a wine bottle. "Why is he suddenly showing this face of his? Yesterday he wanted to run away from me and now he wants to be with me. What's going on in his mind?" she thought.

"Dad wants us to have dinner today. So, I took you out. In a while, his men will take pictures of us. Let's act like a lovely couple," stated Zhao.

A chuckle escaped Zhu Rui's mouth. "I expected this only," said Zhu Rui. A waiter came there and served them the first cuisine. After pouring the wine into the glasses, he left. They started eating quietly.

"I thought why you are showing so much care towards me," mumbled Zhu and put the fork down. She picked the wine glass and sipped it.

"I have to do things for dad. It is my duty, I guess. Now, I have an official wife so I have to listen more to him," asserted Zhao.

"You talk sarcastically with me. I do not want your fake care," she snapped at him. Zhao slightly smiled upon hearing her words. "I am a puppet for my father more than a son," Zhao stated.

"Am I like your father?" Zhu Rui asked.

Zhao looked into her eyes. For a few minutes, he just stared into those eyes. Taking a heavy sigh he said, "I do not know. Maybe in the future, our relationship can do good."

"So, you think our relationship can get good and I should not give up on our relationship," Zhu Rui questioned.

"It is up to you. I will never force you. Mishi told me to give a chance to our relationship. In the beginning, her relationship with Xian was sour but later she found true love in him," declared Zhao and looked at Zhu Rui.

"When did she these words to you?" Zhu Rui asked.

"She wished me Christmas, so we talk on chat," replied Zhao and smiled.

"Does Xian not get jealous seeing you talk?" mumbled Zhu Rui and started eating again. Zhao smiled. "Things are not like earlier. Time has changed many things," Zhao muttered and sipped the wine.

"I do not like Mishi at all. She made you suffer," said Zhu Rui.

"Do not hate her. She is the girl who should be loved by everyone. She never made me suffer. I was the one who made her suffer indirectly," proclaimed Zhao.

"I have the right to hate her. Because of her you still hate me," Zhu Rui said.

"She is the most wonderful woman I have ever met. She forgave Yin Mei who tried to kill her though it was Bai's doing. Yin got a new life because of her. If I were at her place then I think I would let Yin rot in jail. No one can carry a heart like her. That is why I fell for her years ago." Zhao praised Mishi.

"My husband is talking about another woman on Christmas eve. Who wants to be like her?" she muttered in anger.

"Who is telling you to be like her? Just be yourself," stated Zhao. He had finished his meal and wiped his mouth from the napkin. "Are you not done?" Zhao asked from Zhu Rui.

"I am still hungry," said Zhu Rui and continued eating.

"Eat quickly. Let's have a dance then," stated Zhao.
