"I should go," Ru Shi said and turned to open the door when Gan Dewei stopped her. "Don't go. Stay with me," he asserted.

She turned to look at him when he pushed her back on the seat and told her to close her eyes. "Why?!" Ru Shi asked.

"Sleep here. Go in the morning," Gan Dewei said. Ru Shi blinked her eyes when Gan Dewei reached out his hand to the back seat, grabbed the thin blanket, and threw it over her. "Take it and sleep," his voice was serious and commanding.

"You carry a blanket in the car? Why?" Ru Shi asked in amusement.

"Because I sleep in the car," answered Dewei and laid his head back on the head restraint. Ru Shi slightly laughed upon hearing his words. "You should sleep at home not in the car," she said and smiled when Dewei's expressions turned dark.

"I do not feel like going home. Now, sleep. I am getting sleepy," stated Gan Dewei and closed his eyes. Ru Shi looked at him for a while. She put on the blanket over him too and closed her eyes.

Chang watched them from afar, holding an umbrella in his hand, and chuckled. He turned and went inside the residential apartment building. As he reached the apartment, he went to his room and opened his laptop.

Holding a pen, he jotted down something on the paper. He switched off the lights and went to the bed.

In the morning, Chunhua and Chang were talking with each other when Ru Shi rang the bell. Chunhua went to open the door and was startled to see her. "When did you go outside?" Chunhua asked and told her to come in. They both came to the living room when Chang asked the same question from Ru Shi.

"My college friend has called me in the early morning. I had to give her something so I left without telling you two as you two were sleeping that time." Ru Shi lied to them.

"Hmm. Ru Shi, I want to ask something from you," stated Chang. Chunhua went to the kitchen. Ru Shi told him to ask.

"If Gan Dewei will get punishment then will you be happy?" Chang questioned.

"Eh? What do you mean?" Ru Shi asked.

"Gan Dewei did not murder your father but he is involved in those things so he might get punishment. So, is that okay with you?" Chang queried.

Ru Shi looked at him with an inquisitive expression. "You are not able to answer. Do you like… love him?" Chang questioned with a raised brow.

"Huh!" Ru Shi mumbled and blinked her eyes. "Ru Shi, I promised you that I will put Gan Dewei behind the bars and I am soon going to fulfill that. As a lawyer, I always go for justice irrespective of the emotions. I want some with my client not to bring emotions in front of the justice," pronounced Chang.

Ru Shi gave a nod and went inside her room. She sat on the bed. "So, even if he is not involved in my father's murder, he will be punished by law?!" wondered Ru Shi.

Xian was helping Sam in wearing the school dress when Mishi came into the room. "Sam is not ready yet? We have to go to the school too," stated Mishi.

"He is ready," said Xian, putting a coat around Samuel.

"Okay, let's go then to the breakfast table. Everyone is waiting for you," asserted Mishi.

"OK mommy," replied Sam. Mishi smiled and caressed his head. They went to the breakfast table where everyone was waiting for them.

"Little Champ is here," said Lan Zhan with a smile. Xian made Sam sat on the chair. Mishi and Yin served them breakfast then. They all started eating.

"Xian, Hu Shen wants to meet you," stated Mark.

"Hu Shen?" Xian exclaimed and looked at him. Mishi looked at them.

"He has signed the deal with us but he wants to meet you before he gives the final signs on the documents. That time you were injured. Today we need to go to his company for the meeting," asserted Mark.

"He set up the company here this fast," chuckled Xian and continued eating.

"I will tell Li Wei to schedule a meeting with him in the noon. Then we will see," muttered Xian. Mark agreed on that. After they finished eating, they left for their respective workplaces.

Mishi and Xian left with Samuel to the Beijing International school to make him admitted to that school. The principal told them they can't admit the student till his custody came to them. So, they left the school.

"Mishi, I will drop you two at the home," stated Xian.

"We will go home in the taxi," suggested Mishi. "You have meetings to attend so focus on that. Do not worry about us," said Mishi.

"You will not listen to me, right?" Xian questioned.

Mishi shook her head in refusal. She had a smile on her lips. "Okay, then I will make you two drop till the taxi point. Take a taxi from there," stated Xian. Mishi agreed on that. Xian took them to the taxi stand and booked a taxi for them. After 5 minutes, it reached there. He made them sit inside the taxi and waited there till the taxi vanished from his sight.

After that, he got into the car and dropped a message to Chang asking him about custody of Samuel. Starting the engine, he drove to the company. As he reached there, he saw Li Wei was waiting for him. He got down the car, gave the car keys to the security, and walked in with Li Wei.

"I think I am neglecting work these days," stated Xian with a smile. They turned towards the elevator where a woman employee was standing. She greeted them and then pressed the button of the elevator. Xian and Li Wei stepped inside it which got closed after a minute.

"Indeed you are neglecting the work but then Mark is always there so there is no issue," answered Li Wei.

"Why Hu Shen does not sign the deal till now?" Xian asked.

"Mr. Shen told that he wants to meet the CEO before signing the deal," asserted Li Wei.

"Okay, then did you schedule the meeting for us?" Xian asked further. The elevator was opened and the two stepped out of it, going into the cabinet.

"He is free in the evening so, I scheduled the meeting for the evening," declared Li Wei. Xian nodded and pushed the door to get in.

He sat on the chair in front of his desk and checked the shares of the company. "Shares not doing that good for a week," stated Xian and looked at Li Wei.

"Hmm. That's because supply-side demand has fallen because of economic reasons," opined Li Wei. Xian nodded and told him to call the financial manager. Li Wei nodded and left from there.

Zhao Bin and Zhu Rui arrived at the Beijing International Airport. Xiao long was already waiting for them there. He told the servant with him put their luggage in the car and then they left for their penthouse.

"How was the trip Little Zhao?" asked Xiao long.

"Nice," answered Zhao in one word.

"You two came 3 days earlier than expected," stated Xiao long.

"Because some urgent work came. So, we returned," replied Zhao. Complete silence formed in the car and it stayed till they reached the penthouse. Their luggage was brought to their rooms when Zhao told Xiao long to prepare another room for him.

"Why?" Zhu Rui questioned.

"Because I want a separate room for a month," pronounced Zhao and then turned to Xiao long. "Will you please give us some privacy?" he asked Xiao long who nodded and left their room.

"Then how will-"

Zhao cut her words in the middle. "For a month I am not going to stay in the same room as you. You have to win my trust in you and make me enter this master bedroom of ours. Let's see you get succeeded in this or not. One more thing—do not make any evil plans which can result in more hatred between us," muttered Zhao.

Zhu Rui nodded and told him to adhere to his promise too.

"Do not worry. I will not break the promise that I made to you," saying this Zhao left that room.
