Zhu Rui looked at him skeptically when Zhao said, "are you not feeling cold? Snowfall happened yesterday. Let's go inside." He got up from the couch to go in.

"If I will go in then you will again go to your separate room. At least here you are sitting with me, talking with me," Zhu Rui asserted. Zhao did not say anything and told her to follow him inside as their dinner was going to reach soon. Saying that he left from there.

Zhu Rui sighed and then got up from the couch. Covering her upper body from the shawl, she went inside the penthouse. She came to their master bedroom when she saw Zhao was sitting on the mini couch there.

"What are you doing here?" Zhu Rui asked.

"You told me to be by your side. The dinner is going to arrive soon. Let's have that together and then I will go back to my room," asserted Zhao. Zhu Rui put the shawl on the bed and sat on it. "I am happy that you are considering my feelings towards you," Zhu Rui said with a faint smile on her lips.

"By the way, Zhao I want to apologize to Mishi for saying some harsh things to her the other day," Zhu Rui said, lowering her eyes.

"Do not call her. Let's meet Xian tomorrow. Let's see what he has to say. There we can apologize to them," stated Zhao.

"I am really sorry for the other day. I realized it was mistake from my end. I wronged her and-"

"It's fine," Zhao said with a faint smile on his lips. "I should not have talked about her to you," asserted Zhao.

"Zhao, the other day you drank you told me something," Zhu Rui said.

"What did I say? I do not remember," Zhao replied. Zhu Rui looked into his eyes. "Ahh, nothing," she mumbled and then averted her gaze from him.

"What are you murmuring? Say aloud. What did I say?" Zhao queried her.

"Nothing," Zhu Rui replied.

"If you won't tell now then I will not eat so better tell me if you do not want me to stay hungry entire night," Zhao stated.

"It is not that important that you have to sacrifice your meal for that," Zhu Rui commented. Zhao chuckled. "It is important that is why you have that kind of expression on your face," Zhao opined, moving his hands in front of his face. "Now, tell me. I am serious. If you won't tell me I will not take food," Zhao adamantly said.

"Did I say something to her which I should not? The next morning when I woke up, I had not even worn the shirt," Zhao thought.

"You said" Zhu Rui paused when Zhao told her to speak, not to be mum. When Zhu Rui did not speak, Zhao got up from the couch. "I am going," He said.

"Huh?" mumbled Zhu Rui. "Wait, I am telling," Zhu Rui pronounced. Zhao got delighted upon hearing that. He turned towards her and said, "Tell."

"Zhao, you said that I am the reason why Mishi had to suffer that much. Your father did something which made you hold back you from getting close to her," Zhu Rui finally spoke.

Zhao had not expected this. His eyes turned sad as he heard what Zhu Rui told him. "Zhao," Zhu Rui called his name and got down the bed.

"What did I do? I am asking because I wanted to turn everything good between us. I want your trust so I want to make things right which because of turned bad," Zhu Rui declared.

"It was nothing. It was just that you told my father everything about me at the time when she needed me the most. Nothing more," Zhao answered. His eyes were blinking when he turned himself.

Zhu Rui walked to him and put her hand on his shoulder. "I am sorry for doing that but I could not see you in the miserable condition that is why I took that step," Zhu Rui proclaimed.

Zhao turned back to face her. "I got it," Zhao replied. "Why is our dinner not here yet?" Zhao muttered and then walked out of the room.

"He was lying. What did I do which made Mishi and her siblings suffer?" wondered Zhu Rui.

After Samuel dozed off, Mishi and Xian went to Lan Zhan's room. Lau Lan, Mark and Yin were also there. They all were discussing about the threat message Xian got that day.

"Xian- Mishi, I sent those numbers to the IT team. The call came from a PCO and we went there to check if we can found the face of that person. But surprisingly, he called from a place which had no CCTV around it. He changed the location for second call. It was from Shanghai," asserted Lan Zhan.

"Mishi is saying that the same person came to Christmas Party. We can check the CCTVs there tomorrow," Lau Lan suggested.

"Yes, I will do that. I will check the place where Xian got this threat message letter. It seems the person is following you two and is obsessed from Mishi," Lan Zhan asserted.

"But I do not know anyone. You see I had only a few friends in the college that too betrayed me. I never was involved with any man. I mean- mean" Mishi's voice choked. Xian put around his hand around her shoulder. "Nothing has happened. Do not be scared. I am with you and our family with us," Xian stated, looking into Mishi's eyes.

"Mishi, Xian is absolutely right. We all are with you. Lan Zhan will catch him. Do not worry," Mark stated.

"I know that my loved ones are with me. But I still fear to lose. So many things have happened. Last time we two got near death experience. I do not want something like this again and today this threat message. It is worrying me," Mishi stated with frightened look.

Xian grabbed her both hands and told her to look into his eyes. "You believe in me, right? We love each other so nothing will happen. Lan Zhan and the police is doing their work. So, do not worry," said Xian and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. Mishi nodded and hugged him.

Xian caressed her head. "My main suspicion is on Hu Shen. Mishi, do you really think he never had any kind of feelings towards you?" Lau Lan questioned.

Mishi pulled away from the hug and refused. "Although I had the crush on him but he never had," Mishi replied and lowered her eyes.

"Mishi, Zhao Bin too had feelings for you but you never found," Yin finally spoke.

"No. I knew about Zhao but I ignored him and pretended as if I do not know. Hu Shen is not involved in this. He met me coincidentally," Mishi replied and tried making them understand.

"He approached Maximus too. Did he not know Xian's wife name is Mishi when it was made public a month ago? It is suspicious to me as well," opined Mark.

"And then he insisted on having a meet with me before signing this deal, why?" Xian muttered.

"Mishi, you trusted on Bai. But what she did? You also know," Mark stated. Yin lowered her eyes upon hearing that as she once joined with her just to separate Mishi from Xian.

"Then what should I do?" Mishi queried them.

"Try knowing Hu Shen's heart," Lau Lan stated.

"Are you out of your mind?" Xian muttered.

"First listen to me," Lau Lan stated.

"You have a plan?" Lan Zhan questioned. Lau Lan nodded and smiled. "Mishi, you said that his parents want him to settle down but he is not. Let's set date for him. You will do that," Lau Lan said, looking at Mishi.

"I? How? I am confused," Mishi replied.

"Talk with his parents and then tell them you know a friend who is single and if they want, you can introduce Hu Shen to her," stated Lau Zhan.

"And who is that girl?" Xian asked with a raised brow.

"Mei Fen," answered Lau Lan.

"What?" Xian and Lan Zhan mumbled at the same time. "What are you saying? She is my girlfriend," Lan Zhan said with an angry tone.

"Ayee, she is police officer before that. Do you not think she will be the best for observing Hu Shen. She even can check his phone without being caught. Ask her and she will agree to this. It is not like they are going to date for real. It will be a test from our end to check his heart," asserted Lau Lan.

"But what if he carries no such feelings towards me? What if he started liking Mei Fen?" Mishi questioned.

"She will refuse him after a day. We just want to check and trust me this is the best plan," proclaimed Lau Lan and looked at Lan Zhan.

"I am calling her," Lan Zhan said.
