"Lan Zhan, calm down," Mishi told him. Lan Zhan stepped back and stood near Mishi. "Mr. Zhan, let me tell you something interesting. Even if you will arrest me, there is nothing you have against me to prove that I am behind this. My phone calls- you can check them. I never once called Mrs. Zhang. She came here to ask about the solution to save Maximus," pronounced Hu Shen.

"You think I will believe your non- sense? You were blackmailing them since long and-"

"Mr. Zhan, you are an officer. You cannot be partial in this thing. As I told you earlier that evidence are needed to prove that I was behind all this. Mr. Yong, please call Mr. Huang. I will talk with the province commissioner regarding this," stated Hu Shen with a smile.

"Stop. What do you mean by province commissioner? Do you think-"

Hu Shen cut Mishi's words in the middle. "Mishi, I just want to prove my innocence. Just as you bring an officer, I think I should also tell the police that someone is accusing me without any proofs," asserted Hu Shen. "Mr. Huang should know that the police is not found its work properly. Mr. Zhan, you also know that without any arrest warrant you cannot come here without any reason. Do you have any proof that I was behind all this?" Hu Shen queried him.

Lan Zhan tightly clenched his both fists. "Mr. Yong, please take out Mr. Zhan out from here," said Hu Shen in a commanding tone. Lan Zhan looked at Mishi and told her to go with him but she refused saying she would come later.

"Mishi, let's go. Staying here will not bring any good," stated Lan Zhan.

"I am coming in a while. You should go. He won't harm me. Do not worry," Mishi told him and gestured him to go. Lan Zhan after much insistence walked out with Mr. Yong from there. Hu Shen took out his hands from the pants pockets and stepped towards Mishi.

"You should not have involved the police in our matter," Hu Shen said politely.

"It was necessary. I never imagined you will blackmail me like this. How could you come up with such a plan, I wonder!" Mishi chuckled. She crossed her arms and glared into the eyes of Hu Shen.

"I will not let Maximus down. You did wrong involving my family. You said you love me? Huh? Come out of this illusion because I will bring your true face in front of the world. I know I lack evidence at this moment but I will gather them and I will save Maximus along with my husband," Mishi proclaimed in a quite confident tone.

She turned to go when Hu Shen said, "there is no way you can save Maximus except leaving him. I know I got late to get back to you but now I am back I will turn everything right. You also know this that there is no way to save Maximus now at this point. Confidence is good but over confidence is worst. Because I adore you so much, I will give you one more chance. Accept my offer and leave Xian Zhang," asserted Hu Shen.

Mishi turned and glared at him. "This thing I will never do, not even in your dreams," stated Mishi.

"Mishi, you know do not pretend that you are strong. I know you are scared from inside. I know you better than your own husband," Hu Shen said and lifted his hand. He tucked the hair strands behind Mishi's ear. "I will wait for you. I won't call you this time. If you want to go with this offer, just come here. I will turn everything back right to its place. I know you love him for now so you do not want him to come on the road in just a night. Apart from that there is his old mother and that child whom you two adopted. I know there are people who are ready to help Xian but will Xian take their help? Think logically," he said, moving his fingers.

"The top entrepreneur of Beijing suddenly got bankrupted. Why? Because of his negligence. Even if those few people will help you will the investor come to do any investment in Maximus. No, they will never because the CEO is incapable to come up with a solution.

So, in short Maximus will be destroyed again even after those generous helps or there might be the chances the investors will pressure Xian to give the rights of company to someone else. There are many risks associated. Still, you should try one more day. I will wait for you," Hu Shen stated with a smile on his lips and then put his hands back into his pockets.

"Thanks for telling me the possible risks. I decline this offer so do not wait for me," stated Mishi when Mr. Yong came there. "Please give me my phone," Mishi told him. Hu Shen gestured to give her mobile back. Mr. Yong handed Mishi's phone to her.

She turned to go when Hu Shen again spoke, "I will wait because you are going to fail. Mr. Yong, please escort Mishi safely." Saying this he left the living room.

Mishi too walked out from there. Mr. Yong told her that he would drop but she refused. Lan Zhan came to her and tell her to get into the car. Mishi did so and the two left from there.

In the car, Lan Zhan asked Mishi what she will do now. "You should have not let him do anything like this. You lied to everyone. Let put others aside. You lied to Xian who will get angry upon hearing this. Let's tell him everything now. That would be better according to me," stated Lan Zhan.

"I thought I will handle this. If I will tell him now then he will get more worried. Let's first find the solution," asserted Mishi. Her phone rang and saw name of Zhao blinking over the screen but she did not take his call. He then called her from Zhu Rui's number which Mishi answered.

"Zhu and I are in Maximus. Where are you? We heard the news. But the guards are not letting us in and Xian isn't picking the calls," stated Zhao.

"I am on my way there," said Mishi and hung up the call.

"Do not accept the offer of Hu Shen. He wants you to leave Xian. In any way, do not do that," Lan Zhan told her. Mishi nodded and saw Yuwan's missed calls and messages on her phone.

She read one of the messages. "Mishi, do not worry. Xian and I are searching for the solution. Everything will be fine." Mishi got worried as she knew there was no way out but still she wanted to do every possible thing to save Maximus.
