"We should talk as it can lead to serious repercussions," voiced Shui Zhang, eyes still lowered. Mishi felt a strange kind of emotion in his voice. Her heart was telling her to do that thing which in the eyes of Xian could be wrong but then she listened to hear to heart.

"Let's talk as our previous relationship," Mishi asserted.

"There is no existing relationship between us," Shui Zhang declared and looked into Mishi's eyes. "If I had known that you are associated with Xian then I would have never accepted your help," he pronounced. He then slid his hand inside one of his pockets and took out the money from it.

"Take this and go. I do not know if this is sufficient or not. I will pay your every penny back which you gave to me that time," Shui Zhang proclaimed. Mishi chuckled hearing those harsh words from him.

"I do not need that money. You hate Xian that much?" Mishi asked him with knitted brows.

"Ask him. He will tell you in a better way. He deserves to be hated," Shui Zhang asserted. Mishi got angry hearing those harsh words against her husband. "Enough. I was stupid to come to you thinking… Ahh, I understand that there are fathers like you in this world who blame his innocent child for no reason." She then left from there in anger.

Shui Zhang's eyes got teary. "I know I am a bad father who could not do anything for him. I failed as a father," he muttered and looked up at the blue sky. The owner came outside and told him to focus on the work. Shui Zhang bowed his head to gave a nod and continued his work.

Mishi closed the door of the cat angrily. "Xian was absolutely right regarding his father. I still wonder how could a father be like this- hating his own child," Mishi muttered and then fastened the seat belt around her. She started the engine and drove to the home.

Gan Dewei helped Ru Shi in the shifting. They were in the living room, seated on the couch when the doorbell rang. "You rest. I will open that," Gan Dewei told Ru Shi and went to the door. He opened the door and saw the person he did not want. "Chang Xin"

He almost closed the door when Chang put his one foot ahead between the gap, thus stopping him from closing the door. "Open the door if you do not want Ru Shi to know about this," Chang said politely.

"Are you threatening me?" Gan Dewei queried him.

"No," Chang replied and put his hand on the door to push it away but then Gan Dewei pulled it in as he heard Ru Shik's voice from inside asking him who was at the door. Chang entered in and patted his shoulder.

Gan Dewei snickered and slammed the door back. He too followed Chang to the living room and saw Chang was looking around. "The owner of these housings is my friend so, it is a safe place," Chang told Ru Shi who told him to sit on that mini couch.

"It's fine, thanks," Chang said with a gentle smile.

"Do you think I will let my girlfriend reside in an unsafe place?" Gan Dewei angrily asked him.

"Dewei, stop," Ru Shi told him.

"Btw, since you are here so, let's talk," Chang stated.

"I don't want to," Gan Dewei replied.

Chang smiled and stepped towards him. Stopping an inch away from him Chang said, "You have to if you want Ru Shi to be your girlfriend."

"What?" Gan Dewei exclaimed and shot glares at Chang. "What do you mean by that?" Gan Dewei asked him and then looked at Ru Shi who had a confused expression on her face.

"If you won't talk today then this is the end of your relationship with her because you will be proved as a criminal in the court after a week," Chang pronounced and then turned to look at Ru Shi. "She is like my sister so I do not want her to be in relationship with a man who is a coward and ready to go to jail for his boss rather than living with his love," he added.

"You are so confident that I will be punished," muttered Gan Dewei.

"Because your boss will not be able to save or should I put it this way- he wants to get rid of you. It does not matter if his one man be behind those bars because there are many others who are desperate to serve for him," Chang stated.

"Dewei, just talk with Chang. It will be injustice to my late father if a wrong man will go behind the bars. I want his soul to rest in peace. One more thing I do not love a coward, weak Gan Dewei but a brave and strong Dewei," stated Ru Shi.

"You are beaten badly by his friends yesterday," Chang said and almost touched his cheek when Gan Dewei slapped off his hand. "It should not concern you," Dewei stated.

"I am not concerned about you," Chang proclaimed. "Let's have a talk. Ru Shi, you must go out," Chang said in a commanding tone.

"Why?" Ru Shi queried.

"Just go," said Chang again with more fierceness. "Go out," Gan Dewei finally spoke. Ru Shi nodded and walked out from there.

"Have a seat," Chang told Gan Dewei who did so. Chang took a chair and then sat on it. "I know you are ready to leave Ru Shi but you are also concerned about her safety now. Your boss might hurt her," Chang stated and gave a smile.

"You know things which you should not," pronounced Gan Dewei.

"Really? Well, a lawyer must know the things related to his client. Lee Shan Bin is a known Mafia but not with this name but with a pseudonym that is, 'The Tiger'. You can say it is a codename for all those who are working for him. Illegal extortion of money from innocents is his skill. But seeing a district police officer's son associated with him is not digestive at all to me," Chang asserted.

Gan Dewei kept staring into his eyes and did not speak a word.
