Calcium, which increases the Sp. Atk of a Pokémon, was also an easy choice for Alex. Gardevoir with Calm Mind on the Expert rank synergizes very well with this pill.

Choosing the best-suited Pokémon for Iron that boosts the Defense of a Pokémon was very difficult for Alex. In the end, he decided on Eevee, who will later become Umbreon.
