Chasing After My Wife Chapter 58

The next day, Elizabeth woke up next to Anton. His hands were wrapped around her waist and his chin was rested at the top of her head.
He felt warm to her touch and she cuddled closer to him to feel comfort. In actual fact, she knew what she did last night.
It's not that she had forgotten Enzo but, she learned to accept the fact that they will never be together.
One, she didn't want her father to cripple him. Two, she didn't want him to give up his dreams for her. Three, Anton had been kind and caring towards her.
She may not love him as much as she loved Enzo but, she would dedicate her entire life for him.
"Good morning." Anton kissed her forehead when he felt her movement towards him. His smile was genuine as he pulled her closer to him.
"Good morning." she greeted back, burying her face on his chest. "Do we still have groceries for next week? I am free today so we can go out and buy some stuff."
"Are you sure?" There was laughter in his voice but she didn't know what he was laughing about. She frowned while looking at him but Anton just gave her a peck on her lips before climbing down from bed.
He went to the bathroom and prepared a hot bath even though he cleaned her last night, he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.
Elizabeth felt a bit sticky as well so she wanted to take a bath. She rolled on her side of the bed and took her robe. However, when she stood up, her eyes went wide.
"Anton!" she yelled at him while cursing with some gibberish words. "It hurts you monkey!" She was rubbing her waist and tailbone when Anton came out from the bathroom. A towel was hung low on his waist while an evil grin was plastered on his face.

"Now, I am sure we can't go out today." he walked towards her and carried her off to the bathroom. He removed the bathrobe before placing her inside the tub.
"It's better now. I won't do it again with you! It hurts like hell!" she glared at him before pinching his exposed waist.
"I tried to be gentle last night."
"Shut up! Go back to your room and get dressed!" she threw her bathrobe at him but Anton didn't care and just caught the robe.
"I'll come back and get you. Don't move around. I don't want you slipping on the wet floor."
"I know. Just go already."
Anton kissed her one last time before going out. He didn't close the door and Elizabeth didn't mind it either.
Something unplanned had changed their life. Instead of applying to American Research Institute, Elizabeth postponed her plan.
"You didn't have protection that night." It wasn't a question but a statement. She had been feeling dizzy lately and she always wanted to sleep. It was her senior professor who told her to undergo pregnancy test and it came out positive.
"I'm sorry. It was selfish of me." Anton responded when they were inside his car. She looked outside the window and didn't speak for while. "I'm sorry."
"Stop saying sorry. What do you have to be sorry for? Don't you dare tell me you don't want this to happen!" she threw a sharp glance at him while caressing her flat stomach.
"Of course I want you to bare me a child but I didn't expect it to happen this soon. It's my fault for doing it without protection but I am not regretting it."
"You're shameless!"
And that's how Jillyanna came to the world. But happiness doesn't last forever. When Jillyanna was born, she was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. Elizabeth was so heart broken for her child.

Left with no choice, she contacted her best friend after a very long time.
Venus just got out of the operation room when she received a call from Elizabeth. It was such a long time since the last time she saw her and she didn't expect her call at all.
She was so happy and excited to receive the call. She answered it immediately and they both agreed to meet during weekend.
Elizabeth introduced her to Anton and Jillyanna which made Venus smile. She was happy that she married the right guy.
It's not that she didn't like Enzo but she felt something's off whenever she looked at his eyes. She couldn't pinpoint it though so she never mentioned it to her friend. It was a good thing that she met Anton.
"I am glad to finally meet you. My wife talked about you multiple times and she regretted it that she can't contact you due to some personal matters." Anton stated which showed how much he cared for his wife.
"Thank you for taking care of her. I am glad she married a good man." Venus responded before scooting over to the baby's crib. "She's beautiful."
"Why didn't you bring Travis? Don't tell me Thomas sent him to another class?" Elizabeth inquired.
"You know how perfectionist that man is! I really want to kick him out of the house." Venus retorted with fuming anger but she still smiled in the end while watching the baby girl.
Elizabeth saw the questioning gaze her husband threw at her while giving Venus a side glance. She understood what he meant, "Venus looks young but she's actually older than me."
"Hey! Watch your words young lady. I am not old." Venus argued with her but Elizabeth just rolled her eyes.
"Venus stopped studying when she had Travis. She only came back to school when her son was already three years old. Now, her son is already five. It's up to you to guess her age."
"Well, she looked young so number doesn't really matter. I won't let you have wrinkles, too. I will work hard for you." Anton winked at her which made her laugh.
"I know and I am confident you'll fulfill your promise." she responded to him while leaving Venus check her baby.
All that matters to them was the wellness of their child. They have completely forgotten her family who was after their money.

Dungeon Misfits
(Warning: The story is still currently in a poor quality state, read on at your own risk.) After the devastating great war, many people were left with poverty, hardship and starvation. Due to this, miscreants and mendicants were a common occurrence here. Thus at such hard times, many different kinds of desperate people would try to delve and discover various dangerous dungeons. And it was at such times, where different people and monsters converge, that various interesting stories and situations could happen. It could be about an aspiring necromancer seeking to find a place in the dungeon in order to seclude himself to his studies and research on necromancy. It could be a story of a struggling group of bandits, deserters and highwaymen using a dungeon cave as a hideout. Even about a bunch of struggling newbies adventurers stumbling in a dungeon. Or perhaps about a certain diabolist, a witch, and a rogue who are ostracised by others due to their professions, being forced to work together as a team in a dungeon. All the while, encountering even more eccentric people on the way. Different people, different situations, but whatever happens inside the dungeon remains to be seen.

Hero
Kuren is just your average boy. He's just been asleep for one thousand years. Heroes and grand epics. Kuren doesn't have the time to think about things like that, nor does he really care. Join Kuren as he wanders the fantasy land of Alurca in search of his lost memories and the reasons behind his lengthy slumber. This is sort of a reboot of Anomaly, the first novel I tried to write. I gave up Anomaly after going to college. I thought about going back to it, but... when I look at it now, it's not very good. It was very edgy and not much substance behind that edge. The story wasn't quite going anywhere since I hadn't given the main character a goal. I had planned out a story, but I forgot to to plan out the details between the beginning and end. So this one's for real. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.

Also; I don't know how many parts that there will be; and I also try to update at least five times every day, since they are small.Thank you,Kelsie❤️
