Chasing After My Wife Chapter 80

The next day, Jillyanna woke up with a smile hanging on her lips. She didn't have to see Travis for the next few days so she got enough time to think for her escape plan C.
She arranged her bed and walk to the bathroom to get herself ready. She found their toothbrushes placed side by side on the shelf inside the bathroom.
"Just because you donated this sperm doesn't mean I have to believe your lies. What an idiot!" she murmured before getting her own toothbrush.
As usual, her bathing time took almost an hour again. She always love soaking on warm bath ever since she was small. "Baby, don't give mommy a hard time during pregnancy, okay? It's just you and me and no one else. Don't even ask about that sperm donor, he'll get rid of us once he's done using us. I don't know how will he use us though. But of course, mommy won't allow that to happen."
It was also her new found habit to talk to her child when she's alone. It was said that mothers should always communicate with their babies, that's what she's doing.
'Knock. Knock. Knock.' it was coming from the outside of her door.
She put on her bathrobe and opened the door to see Savannah holding a tray of food for her.
"I prepared this for you." Savannah said with a smile and handed her the tray.
Jillyanna felt awkward getting her food done by someone else. She scratched the tip of her nose before getting it. "Savannah, you don't have to prepare my breakfast. I can manage on my own."
"Travis entrusted you to us. You are pregnant as well so you shouldn't be moving too much. Preparing food is just a piece of cake. Hawk and Brown helped me, too since Valkyrie is busy installing cameras around the house."

"I...In...Installing cameras?" she was utterly shocked with this information. 'How will I leave then?' she noted mentally in frustration.
Savannah just stated what has been going but she didn't realize that Jillyanna had gone silent from being upset.
"We need you to be safe all the time. Any moment, those people who are after your mother's research might come in. We have to be prepared all the time." Savannah responded to her. She nodded her head in agreement but she was thinking differently.
Since she couldn't escape from their watch, then she'll just bring them with her. Anyway, she wasn't able to finalize her escape route yet.
"I'll be going out in a while. I'm visiting a friend." she informed her as she placed the tray on her bed side table.
"Brown and I will come with you. Hawk and Valkyrie will stay to watch over the house." Savannah acknowledged. "Is there anything else you need?"
"None. Thank you."
Savannah left her alone after that. She looked at the food and sighed helplessly. Ever since she met Travis, her life was in shambles. She couldn't even trust Cielo and Lucian now. She felt that Travis would know of her plans if she tells Cielo and Lucian.
"I'm going to go crazy! I only wanted to have a child! It would have been a good bonus if he truly cared about me but, he doesn't! This is so frustrating! He is so annoying!" she tugged her hair from pent up frustrations and laid on her bed with her wet hair.
She stared at the ceiling and closed her eyes but a smiling Travis flashed across her mind. "What the hell? I didn't tell you to think of him! My braincells, don't go against me!" she mumbled to herself. "Well, whatever."

She sat up on her bed and ate her breakfast. After eating she chose a white skinny jeans, a pink off-shoulder blouse and a white shoes. She kept her heels and wedge already after finding out that she's pregnant. She's left with sneakers and flat shoes.
'Knock. Knock. Knock.'
"Again?" she muttered to herself while rolling her eyes. Still, she opened the door with a smile but her smile faltered when she saw the phone being handed to her with Travis' name on it.
"He is looking for you." Savannah simply stated and gave her the phone.
She took it and Savannah closed the door for her upon leaving the room.
"What do you want? Shouldn't you be sleeping this time?" she glanced on the small clock on her table. "It should be past ten in the evening already in New York."
"I miss you." Travis spoke in a low voice while massaging his temple from so many things in mind.
"Too bad cause I don't." she replied to him. She had the phone on the other hand while getting a sling bag from her drawer.
She could hear him sigh on the other end of the line, making her feel a little guilty. He had been busy looking for her these past weeks and the company he was working on had problem while he was gone. He might even get scolded once he got back.
Jillyanna stopped from getting her bag and sat down on the couch instead. "Get some sleep when you can. Money shouldn't be your priority."
"I am so happy to hear that you are concern about me." he teased her which flipped her mood instantly but she didn't yell or curse at him because there's no need to - she turned off the phone.
The phone rang again with his name flashing across the screen. "I heard that you're visiting someone." Travis stated when she answered it.
"Yeah." she responded shortly, devoid of emotions.
"You are not thinking of escaping from me, right?" he asked with another sigh. Jillyanna was silent since he hit the mark. "I'm telling you, I may not be a powerful person or I don't hold the world in my palm but, I've got friends and acquaintances who would be willing to help me in finding you. I won't let you escape again."
"You are so annoying." she responded with her gritted teeth. "Can I punch you when you get home? I am so frustrated right now." Nonetheless, she still calmed her heart.
Travis chuckled at her. "I'll let you punch me anytime you want as long as you stay."
"Whatever. I'm going out already. Take care of yourself." she ended the call without waiting for his response. With her bag and Savannah's phone, she walked out of her room, annoyance reflecting on her face. She handed the phone to Savannah saying, "Your friend is so annoying! He's getting on my nerves! My god!"
