Chasing After My Wife Chapter 95

Song used: Never Thought That I Could Love - Dan Hill
Travis just laughed awkwardly and kissed her head. "Don't scare me like that."
"Who told you to be such a coward? I was just asking a question." Jillyanna poked his chest with a raised eyebrow.
Cheska also sighed a breath of relief. She stood up straight and looked at Travis. "You should thank me that she ended up staying. Anyway, I won't show my face in front of you guys. I'm just happy that she's fine. I'll take my leave now."
The senior doctor left with Cheska following behind. Jillyanna wanted to say something since Cheska looked a bit sad. Even though her plan was spoiled, it wasn't really the doctor's fault. She opened her mouth and closed it again.
"Who was that?" Cielo asked with a frown.
"That's Dr. Cheska Suarez. She's a friend of Travis. By the way, I haven't seen Eli. He didn't come and visit me?"
It was just an innocent question. Before, even if she only catch a cold, if Eliezer found out, he would always come over to check on her. However, this time he didn't come at all.
Cielo looked at her face before shifting her gaze to Travis. "He must be busy."
"Oh right. He's a doctor too." Jillyanna said and smiled.
"We won't take so much of your time. You have to rest since you'll be doing a lot of tests later. We'll visit your house tomorrow." Sky commented while taking a look at her watch.
Jillyanna just nodded her head at them. They reminded her and Travis about several things before they finally left. Travis sent them out and came back to accompany her.
"Are you sleepy?" he asked when he caught her yawning.

"Hn."
"Just go to sleep."
"Don't go out, okay?" Jillyanna told him while opening the blanket and slid under it.
Travis walked to her side and grabbed the chair so he can sit on it. He reached out to hold one of her hands with his.
"You tell me a story." Jillyanna stated in her soft voice.
"I don't know any story. How about I sing for you?"
"Okay."
He cleared his throat, with a soft and sensual voice, he sang a song with a slow version of it.
"Can I touch you?
I can't believe that you are real
How did I ever find you?
You are the dream that saved my life
You are the reason I survived
Baby
I never thought that I could love
Someone as much as I love you
I know it's crazy but it's true
I never thought I could need
Someone as much as I need you
I love you"
He stopped singing when she fell asleep, breathing in and out faintly. He rose up from her seat and kissed her forehead.
Since she's sleeping, he contacted his secretary to send him a laptop so that he can work while she rests.
"Hospital?! What are you doing there bo--bo..what happened?" She wanted to say 'boss' but there were many people who were looking at her.
"I'm fine. I am just taking care of my wife. Send me my laptop so I can work here." Travis responded to her.
When the call ended, the secretary was confused. "How did he get himself a wife? Is he in a mental hospital? Is boss retarded?"
Mr. Sandoval, Diego's father, came to him, "His wife is in the hospital?" he murmured softly.
"His wife? Boss really has a wife?" the secretary asked in a whisper.

"Shh." Mr. Sandoval gestured him to stay silent. The secretary nodded his head and went to his boss' office, grab his laptop, walked out, locked the office and drove to the hospital which was sent to her in a text message.
It didn't take so much time for the secretary to find the hospital room. She was so worried when she was told to go to the hospital.
She knocked on the door thrice before opening it. Travis was currently heating some food to eat.
"Good day Boss. I'm here with your laptop." she placed the bag containing his gadgets on the couch.
She glanced at the woman sleeping on the hospital bed. She was really pretty even though she looked a little pale. "How's your wife?"
"She's doing good. She'll be discharged tomorrow so I can go back to work as well. Just leave my things there." Travis responded.
"Okay boss. Just let me know if you need something else. I'll take my leave now." His secretary left with a relieved look. 'Thank God my boss isn't dreaming! He's really got a wife!' He thought and sighed.
Travis took out his food from the microwave and placed it on the table in front of the couch. He also placed his laptop on the table. Working as he eat while Jillyanna sleeps.
Time passed quickly and Jillyanna woke up after two hours of sleep. Travis was still working and he looked handsome with a serious face. 'Has he been this handsome ever since?' she thought while watching him.
She didn't make any noise even though she's awake but Travis felt someone watching him so he raised his head.
"Did I wake you up?" he asked as he stood up, leaving his work undone.
"Nope. I woke up from hunger. What are you eating?" she glanced at his plate with some cold food left on it.
"You can't it those kinds of food. Hawk had sent some porridge for you. Just endure it for a couple of days, I'll cook for you once you're fully recovered." Travis stated while rubbing her head gently.
"It's a promise?"
"Yes. I promise." he kissed her forehead and walked her to the couch. "Just wait a moment here. I'll heat the porridge for you." he went to the table and picked up the thermos that Hawk brought earlier.
Jillyanna saw the things on his laptop but she didn't bother with it. "Can I use your phone?" she asked him since she didn't have her own phone yet.
"Go ahead. It's not locked anyway." Travis responded while pouring the porridge on a bowl.
