He saved the final result of his investigations and closed the laptop. She has been so stressed out lately making Travis felt guilty for her.

"I'll never let anyone separate us." He murmured, caressing her hair before putting the laptop on the table.

He made several calls to people who owed him a favor and asked to help him investigate four people who were living in Genesis District.

In just an hour, the famous private investigation agency, deploy 20 of their most talented P.I., hired by different people but were tasked to investigate the same four people.

If you love someone, you would do your best to keep them safe and not let them suffer. You wouldn't want to see them cry. You wouldn't want to see them upset. You would do your best to give them all the best in the world.

Maybe for some, their love is different. However, for Travis, that's how much he loves her.

After making phone calls, he went back to her side and helped her finish the editing process of her video that she was planning to release the next day.

When it was almost six in the evening, Jillyanna woke up with so much energy. She looked around her room but didn't find the person she was looking for.

She changed her clothes and walked out. "Travis?" She called his name while walking down the stairs.

He heard her from the kitchen so he came out with his apron on. "Hi. Do you want some water or milk?"

"I want water." she walked towards her. "I didn't see you in my room."

"I thought you would be fine since this is your own house." Travis responded with a faint smile.

For some people, he looked arrogant and cold. To his business partners, he was smart and mighty. To other women, he was handsome but aloof. To his friends, he was kind and reliable.

In front of Jillyanna, he showed his real colors. He was the most annoying, the sweetest, the most reliable, the smartest, the silliest, the pervert and the person who valued her the most.

Jillyanna hugged him even though he was covered with flour powder. He was actually learning to bake from Sky so he can make simple pastries for her.

"Why are you becoming sweet today? Are you okay?" Travis asked, hugging her back.

"I'm not being sweet. I am actually very angry and I am doing this to stop myself from punching you."

"Okay. You can be angry at me." Travis responded with a smile. Even if it was just a reason, he would let her do whatever she wants.

This was the scenario that Cielo saw when she came down. "Oh? I didn't know my sister would be like this when she's angry." She teased Jillyanna but the person she's teasing didn't budge at all.

Jillyanna hugged him tightly. "I don't care of what you'll think. Just let me be angry just this time, okay?" she whispered in his arms.

"Hn." He agreed and ignored Cielo.

Cielo didn't tease her again. It was good to see that she's starting to accept him and his life.

"By the way, BLACKPINK released another song today." Cielo mentioned in passing as she went to the kitchen to grab some fruits.

"I knew and I missed it." Jillyanna murmured again. After few minutes of hugging him, she let him go "I'll go get my phone" and she went back to her room so she could get her phone.

Travis just watched her with a smiling face. Cielo saw him and decided to tease him instead. "Isn't it nice if she's always angry at you?"

"Yeah but it's fine if she's sweet, too."

Actually they were referring to Jillyanna's opposite attitude. When she's being sweet, she's going to scold you and yell at you. When she's saying she's mad, she'll act sweet and coy.

Or sometimes, it's just as she says. When she's angry, she's really angry. When's sweet, she's really going to act sweetly.

Some people say that women are hard to understand but, in actual truth, they just want their partner to pamper them and value them.

Jillyanna came out with her phone and sat on a couch in the living room. She searched through YT and found the new released song of her favorite k-pop girl group.

"What are you watching?" Lucian asked, who just came home from reporting the event that happened earlier.

"I'm watching BLACKPINK." Jillyanna answered cheerfully.

"Oh. It's that girl group again." He made a perfunctory remark and left to find his wife. "Where's Cielo?"

"In the kitchen."

She focused herself in watching the music video again and sang the song together with them.

"Enjoying yourself?" Travis asked from behind her. He had already removed the apron and his hands were washed clean.

"I am. Aren't they pretty?" She showed to him the video she's watching. "I really really like them."

"They sang really nicely. I know the owner of their company, too. Do you want to meet them?"

"Perhaps some other time. I will focus on my career first and my baby." she stated eagerly.

She continued watching the video and replayed it multiple times.

"But we were born to be alone." She repeated the lyrics. "If I didn't meet anyone after my mother left me, I would probably agree with this. However, I have all of you now. I hope these four ladies will find the person who will value them, too."

"You really care about them." Travis commented, kissing the back of her left hand.

"Of course. When you like someone, you want to wish them to be happy." She responded, her smile genuine and her eyes glittering with happiness.

After watching it several time, she closed the video and turned to face him. "Did you check the numbers that Mr. Tamo gave us?"

"Hn. I currently asked some people to help me investigate the people in my lists. Don't worry about it. We will get the result soon."

"Okay. Thanks for working on it."

"Thank you for believing that I can." Travis kissed her hand again.
