Chasing After My Wife Chapter 139

Travis finished the food and cleaned the table where they ate. Jillyanna was so full and she wanted to kick him again for feeding him so much.
"I won't bring you food next time." She murmured just enough for him to hear.
Travis laughed again upon hearing her. Since he started seeing her from that one night affair, he lost count of the times that he laugh because of her. She's giving him life and he treasured it so much. He never knew what love would be like but her presence alone is love itself.
"I love you." He responded to her which caught Jillyanna off-guard. She started blushing again and didn't dare meet his eyes.
"You said it earlier." she fiddled with her fingers while trying to calm her heart. "You don't have to say it again."
"I can say it again and again. I love you Jill."
"Ahh! Stop it." she covered her ears from hearing him. Her heart had been beating like crazy that her chest hurts. She needed to calm down. It's a must.
Travis didn't tease her anymore. He knew when to advance and when to retreat. Just by looking at her, he knew that she'd flip her switch any moment.
"Alright. I won't say it again." He sat beside her again and kissed her forehead. "Let's have a tour?"
Jillyanna finally let down her hands and looked at him. She was still blushing but her heart was already calm.
"Show me the man who was looking for a beating." She told him bravely and even folded her sleeves to show her prowess.
"You don't have to beat him. Don't waste your energy on him." Travis fixed her sleeves for her and held one of her hands with his. "Let's go?"

"Okay." Jillyanna followed him out obediently. They stopped in front of his office room and found several pairs of eyes looking at them.
She steeled herself and acted carefree like how she used to in the club but her neck started getting redder again up to her face and ears.
"Why are you easily embarrassed? You didn't even cower during our first night." Travis whispered to her that made her felt so hot from embarrassment.
"You told me you won't tease me again!" She stomped on his foot and glared at him.
"Did I?"
"Yes you did."
"Oh."
"Don't 'Oh' me! You're so hateful!" she didn't care about the people watching them at all and stomped his foot lightly again.
She knew her boots could really hurt so she minimized her strength. Travis didn't let her hand go at all, he even kissed her knuckles.
"Okay. I won't do it again." He stated with a serious face but Jillyanna could hear the laughter in his voice.
Travis turned to a handful of employees who stayed in the same floor as him. All of them were tasked to process all the reports from different departments.
Including the three employees who went out, there were only twelve people who stayed in the same floor as Travis. They played the big roles in the development of the plaza next to the shareholders.
"Everyone, I would like you to meet my wife Jillyanna." Travis introduced her to them. They greeted her politely since she's the young madam.
"You're married already boss? How did that happen?" One of his male employees joked at him since they all know that Travis hated hanging out with women.
"How it happened doesn't matter." Travis responded nonchalantly.
"Boss when you said the word 'wife', Ms. Jillyanna didn't look happy. Did you force her boss?" A female employee with her spectacles ask. She even raised one of her eye brow to their boss.

Jillyanna even gave her a thumbs up that made everyone laugh. "You have a sharp eyes."
"Hey! Why are you agreeing with her?" Travis sulked beside her like a kid.
"Why not? She was right all along. Didn't you just start calling me your wife out of nowhere?"
"The mother of my child should be my wife. Am I wrong?" Travis retorted back at her which rendered her speechless for awhile.
"You're not fair!" She smack his chest this time. It wasn't good for her to exert force with her lower body.
Travis turned to his employees again. "Don't mind my wife. She's moody because of her pregnancy."
"She's really pregnant? Oh my! Congrats boss!"
"That's a good news!"
"Congratulations boss!"
"Congratulations young madam!"
"Is your baby a boy or a girl?"
Jillyanna just smiled all throughout their greetings. She never expected that Travis would share them the news. "We don't know the gender yet."
"What do you want boss? A girl or a boy?" One of his employees asked him.
Travis thought for awhile and Jillyanna was waiting for his answer, too. "Gender doesn't matter to me as long as both my wife and child are healthy."
"Admit it boss, you just came out to flaunt your love life in front of us right?" The youngest employee who was arguing with the young man earlier asked.
Travis laughed and wiggled his eyebrows. "Of course. I just want you guys to be jealous."
"You're so heartless boss."
"I am. After all, my wife took my heart away already." Travis answered like a love-struck teenager.
"Geez! Stop dragging me along with your silly antics. I didn't want to flaunt our relationship at all."
"You didn't want to? A lot of people are watching our video now." Travis retorted back at her.
Because of his statement, they all took out their phone, including Jillyanna, they watched the video that was posted in her account.
"You are indeed a perfect match." One of the male employees said.
"Of course we are." Travis agreed happily.
"Boss, can you stop feeding us dog food? My heart won't be able to take it."
"Miss Jillyanna, please don't be so sweet."
"Ha? When was I sweet to him?" Jillyanna denied immediately.
"When? Every single time miss? Even when you were upset looked sweet."
Jillyanna couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter. She never expected this comments to be spoken outwardly in front of her.
Jillyanna bowed deeply in front of everyone which shocked them. "Thank you so much for supporting me all these years and for helping Travis. I am really grateful to all of you."
"Oh? What is this? It's lively here." The voice was gruff and old. Mocking and sarcastic.
