Chasing After My Wife Chapter 162

If Jillyanna knew that her words will be her downfall later that night, she wouldn't have said that promise.
Not wanting him to change his mind, Jillyanna went to the backyard as soon as she can. She found Savannah laying down the things on the table.
"Do you like these?" Savannah asked her with the thought that Jillyanna might've taken fancy to the accessories.
"Hn. They're beautiful. Can you show me how you use this?" Jillyanna inquired. It was for her to know if Savannah will be fine using the things that was lent to her.
"These are not mere accessories." Savannah told her bluntly in case she misunderstood something.
"I know. Go ahead and show me." Her tone suggested no refusal so Savannah just followed her and chose the belt that can be changed into a whip.
She put on some cans on the ground and some where on the fence. It was her model for target. She's not really familiar in using a whip but she wanted to do her best in order to ensure her safety.
With full force and determination, Savannah raised her arm and whipped on the cans and the woods as if her life depends on it.
It took her a full five minutes to take down all the 'targets'. She wasn't even sweating and a satisfied smile hang on her lips.
"Not bad." Jillyanna stated while clapping her hands. "Give me that and place the targets back. I'll show you something."
For some reason, Savannah had confidence in Jillyanna. When they first met, she fought with her when Jillyanna thought she's got ill intentions towards her.
That time, she was able to grasp her strength and she was most likely on par with their Lieutenant Colonel Avery. She's got quick reflexes and her eyes never left her enemy.

She put the cans and woods back to their designated places after giving Jillyanna the belt. "Should I set the timer, too?" She asked her.
"That's fine with me." Jillyanna responded.
She didn't use much force because of her pregnancy and she didn't move around that much. She only took a few steps around her to get on the right angle before hitting on the 'target'.
Savannah was dumbstruck and she couldn't take her off of her. Jillyanna was very fluid in her action and she didn't even hit the same target twice. She was very fast, too.
Savannah was in a daze momentarily. She felt like a student who saw her master do an awesome feat.
"What's my time?" Jillyanna asked her which brought her back to earth. Savannah quickly checked her phone and was shocked once again.
"Master, your time is 1 minute and 28 seconds." Savannah told her with a grinning face.
"I've become slower this time." Jillyanna murmured but since Savannah had a good sense of hearing, she was still able to hear it.
"I understand Master. You're pregnant after all." Savannah placate her again.
"Stop messing around. Stop with the master thing as well." Jillyanna gave the whip back to her. "Pick up the things and put them back on their places." She commanded her.
Savannah followed her immediately. Her eyes were sparkling in astonishment. She really admire strong women. Her favorite was their Lieutenant Colonel but it seemed like, it will be changed soon.
Jillyanna was watching her pick up the things and while Savannah was busy, she checked the things on the table.
'I really miss using these stuff.' She thought to herself while picking up the accessories one after the other.
"Master, I'm done putting them back." Savannah called out to her.

"What did you just call me?" she squinted her eyes as if she was scrutinizing Savannah in front of her.
Savannah just chuckled at her. "Alright. I'll stop it. So what now?"
Jillyanna approached her and helped her wear the belt. "When you go to the university tomorrow and for the next few days, always wear a jeans or shorts or skirts with belt halters." Jillyanna stated. "When you wear the belt, tie it like this so that it's easy for you to take it."
She showed Savannah how to tie the belt-like-whip and showed her different stances and techniques to use it. She even taught her how to strike her enemies with less amount of movements.
"When your enemies are in front of you and are standing side by side, don't strike vertically. You need to strike them horizontally so that you can take them in one go."
Savannah listened to her attentively and followed her instructions. She was taught from the very basic of using such item.
Savannah practiced from pulling the belt to striking her enemies again and again. When she reached 3 minutes and few seconds from start to end, Jillyanna gave her a pass.
"How about you try using the necklace?" Jillyanna suggested. It was Winter's favorite item among everything on the table.
"Should I call Hawk to be my sparring partner?" Savannah asked hesitantly.
"No need. I'll be your partner. The criminals may not be as good as me but they should be skillful as well. You shouldn't look down on your enemies." Jillyanna uttered with confidence. "Don't go easy on me. If you can corner me, I'll give you a pass."
Savannah was excited that she'd get to fight with her again but when she realized that she's pregnant, her facial expression turned to disappointment.
"I trust your skills and I am grateful for your lesson but I don't want to risk you and your child anymore. I'll call Hawk instead. Just watch me fight and correct me later. How about that?"
"Okay. I'll just watch then. Go and call him. You can call Valkyrie, too." Jillyanna suggested.
"Sure." Savannah ran back to the room upstairs to call the two men who can spar with her.
With her running back inside, the three men scampered around the room like little squirrels, afraid of getting caught by a human.
