‘This is clearly your father’s fault. If he blames you, then he’s clearly something else,’ Gu Yancheng thought. He dared not voiced out his opinion on Lu Qingxin. He didn’t want to upset her.

“He won’t. I will always be here for you no matter what,” he promised. “Qingxin, let’s go back first.”

Lu Qingxin nodded. She looked back one last time. In her heart, she didn’t want to leave.

Li Qingcang stood at the corner. He was occupied with thoughts. There was no way he could possibly be guarding Ye Tianxin and her grandmother 24 hours a day. But being an elderly woman and a fairly young lady, Li Qingcang was worried that someone might harass them again. How would the two of them be able to handle the situation?

“It’s decided then. After you have switched rooms, I will help you with your stuff. That also makes it more convenient.”

Ye Tianxin did not put up an ostentatious show of affectation. She was truly disgusted by the way Lu Qingxin behaved so early in the morning.

Ye Tianxin helped her grandmother into the hospital ward. As soon as Grandmother lay down, the nurse promptly put her back on the IV drip.
