The dressing room was already empty when Li Qingcang returned.

Ye Tianxin had already moved to the next location where she had to shoot a scene.

While Li Qingcang was struggling with his decision, Ye Tianxin started to film the last scene of the movie.

There was nothing special about this scene.

The camera took shots from afar and close-ups.

Ying Tao stood in front of a cherry tree. Her eyes were gentle, and her long hair swayed along with the light breeze. She seemed even gentler, and the entire scene looked like a painting.

After they had filmed this scene, Du Juan walked up to Ye Tianxin.

The other members of the crew began to pack up the props and other things.

“Tianxin, your acting has improved tremendously. It is the entertainment industry’s loss that you will not be part of it for good.”

Ye Tianxin lowered her head shyly after receiving praise from Du Juan. “Mom, I will be full of myself if you praise me like that.”

“I am telling the truth.” Du Juan held Ye Tianxin’s hand and insisted, “When you pushed open the doors of the bookshop that night, I thought to myself that I have found the person I have been looking for. Tianxin, you might not believe me when I say this, but if I hadn’t met you, I would have rather kept ‘Red Cherry’ in a box and never made it into a movie. You acted very well, and you have made the Ying Tao in my heart come alive. Thank you, Tianxin.”

Ye Tianxin hesitated for a moment before she finally asked, “Mom, could you tell me the name of the person Ying Tao is based on?”

“Why do you want to know?” Du Juan asked, curious.

Ye Tianxin answered, “I just wanted to know who the person is. She got me curious. That’s all.”

“Du Juan, have you told Tianxin about it?” Director Jin suddenly appeared, walking towards them.

Du Juan asked further, “Do you have to go to this extent?”

Director Jin wrapped his arm around Du Juan’s waist and said proudly, “Tianxin, I am your godfather from now on.”

“Congratulations! Congratulations!” Ye Tianxin congratulated the pair after being surprised for a second.

“I got sick of him pestering me. I had no choice but to agree,” Du Juan quipped.

“Yes, all valiant women are afraid of pestering men indeed.” Director Jin was not angry at what Du Juan had said. Instead, he agreed with her. “Oh, right. Tianxin, Young Master Li is here. I will let him do the love scene with you. Do you have any objections? Don’t worry. You are my goddaughter, and I will definitely help you. If you don’t want to film it with him, just let me know. At the most, we can just find a body double.”

“Director Jin, I’m afraid Elder Brother Li will not agree to it.”

Ye Tianxin did not even have to think to know what Li Qingcang’s final decision would be.

“Forget it if he doesn’t agree,” Jin Xin remarked. “But what if he does?”
