“Little Tianxin, you are a rich woman now!” Jing Zhichen teased.

Ye Tianxin’s lips formed into a smile. “Oh, yes, I am!” she laughed.

Ye Tianxin’s phone, which she had placed on the table, rang. It showed Yan Jun’s name.

“Tianxin, I heard that you are in the capital. I shall take you around the capital tonight.”

Jing Zhichen’s voice suddenly turned serious, and he asked, “Who do you want to take around the capital tonight?”

Yan Jun was astonished when he heard Jing Zhichen’s voice coming from the other end of the phone. He glanced at his phone screen. He called Ye Tianxin, didn’t he?

Why did Jing Zhichen pick up the call?

“Bro, I called Tianxin. Not you. Can you please hand the phone to Tianxin?” Yan Jun requested nicely. “I have something to say to her.”

Jing Zhichen pursed his lips, and his expression grew dark. “There’s nothing to talk about between you and Tianxin. Stop being a playboy! Tianxin is still young!”

“I don’t mind if she’s young,” Yan Jun retorted.

Jing Zhichen harrumphed. “Well, I mind that you are old.”

Jing Zhichen hung up the phone. “Tianxin, I have already started looking for a body double for you for that scene you haven’t filmed yet,” he informed her. “Don’t talk to that fellow Yan Jun.”

Ye Tianxin smiled and agreed. “Okay.”

Old Madame Jing held Ye Tianxin’s hands and told Grandmother, “Sis, we would not have met again if not for your granddaughter.”

Ye Tianxin smiled. “Grandaunt, actually you and Grandmother do look very similar. You are at least 70% alike. The giveaway was the children’s song you sang.”

Old Madame Jing nodded.

“Sis, since you have come to the capital, come and stay at my house,” Old Madame Jing offered. “We sisters should have a good and long chat.”

Grandmother shook her head. “Sis, Tianxin and I will be staying in the capital in the future. We will have a lot of time to spend together.”

Old Madame Jing suddenly felt a little sad. “Sis, we are old. Each time we meet might be the last time. Listen, why don’t we sleep together tonight?” Old Madame Jing suggested excitedly.

“Grandmother, I have already booked a holiday resort for you and Grandaunt. You two can go and stay at the resort. Grandaunt, don’t worry about Tianxin. I will take care of her.”

“Good, good, good. My good grandson has arranged things well. Then you have to take care of your younger sister and don’t let those ignorant people upset her.”

“Yes, Grandmother.”

After lunch, Jing Zhichen arranged for a car to send Grandaunt and Grandmother to the holiday resort.

The weather was very hot. Going to the holiday resort would greatly benefit the two elderly women.

“Tianxin, do you have anything to do this afternoon?”

Ye Tianxin thought about the tie that Yan Qingqing had ripped and said, “I want to go to a wholesale market and buy some needles and threads.”

“Let me take you there.”

“There’s no need. Don’t you have other things to take care of? I can take the train there myself.”

When she exited the train station, she noticed someone following her.

Someone covered her mouth when she walked out of the train station. The person dragged her to an inconspicuous silver-colored van parked outside the train station.

“Shh!”

Ye Tianxin looked up and saw a few men dressed in shirts. They looked at her solemnly.

She was scared. Who was behind this?

Were they sent by the Yan family?

Or did Lu Qingxin hire them?
