Qie Yiyan and Shouhu stood outside the cell. Shouhu held the roster in his hand and made a roll call.

Aside from Ye Tianxin, the other girls were all in front of Shouhu.

Qie Yiyan looked at Yan LiLi, who was standing at the side. However, Yan Lili shook his head.

She had not fulfilled the mission.

With Li Qincang around, it was impossible for her to persuade Ye Tianxin to stay, let alone be near her.

Li Qincang held Ye Tianxin’s hand and walked towards Qie Yiyan. He greeted Qie Yiyan and excused himself and Ye Tianxin, “Captain Qie, since you’re here, Ye Tianxin and I will leave first.”

“Captain Qie,” Ye Tianxin chimed in, “if you want to ask my opinion, my answer is, I am not willing.”

Ye Tianxin looked determined and would not be persuaded otherwise.

The morning light shone on her face, making her seem even livelier and more energetic.

“Ye Tianxin, I know that your dream is to become a diplomat. A diplomat is an asset to the country, and, in terms of duty, that’s what soldiers do, too. Why don’t you give the army a try? You might like it there and succeed. The army needs outstanding talents like you.”

Ye Tianxin would not change her mind. She wanted to leave this island as soon as possible.

“Captain Qie, I do not want to stay. My dream is to be a diplomat, not a soldier.”

Qie Yiyan sighed and glared at Li Qincang. If the guy hadn’t come, he would have been able to convince Ye Tianxin to stay.
