Chapter 425: I’ll Kill Whoever Dares to Stop Me【1】

Li Qingcang and Xie Xuning got out of the helicopter one after another and walked to the entrance of Ruyi Lake Sanatorium.

The gate was closed. Li Qingcang rang the doorbell. The sleepy security guard rubbed his eyes and stood behind the gate.

“Who are you?”

Li Qingcang showed his work permit, and he directed, “Open the door.”

The guard slowly opened the door, and Li Qingcang walked straight to the monitoring room of Ruyi Lake.

“Recall all the footage four hours before now.”

Xie Xuning looked at the surveillance footage, and every scene felt like a knife stabbing at his heart.

“Tianxin, are you awake?”

Ye Tianxin opened her eyes. She scanned the room. After a minute or two, she realized that there was no escaping this place.

“Who are you?”

Mechanical sounds rang in Ye Tianxin’s ears.

“It doesn’t matter who we are. Don’t you want to know who your real father is?” the voice asked.

Ye Tianxin recognized the voice. “What do you mean?”

Ye Tianxin was confused. They abducted her. Though the reason wasn’t clear to her, could it be that they wanted to tell her who her father was?

“Little girl, we have been satisfied with your performance. Therefore, if you are a good girl, you won’t suffer…that much. We will also be at ease.”

The mechanical sounds suddenly stopped.

Ye Tianxin moved her rigid wrist a bit.

She was currently in a completely enclosed room.

There were no windows in the room, so she couldn’t see what time or what kind of weather it was outside.

Ye Tianxin was thirsty. She got out of bed and walked towards the wooden cabinet in the corner. She opened the cabinet and found a few bottles of mineral water. She also saw a glass beside the bottles.

Next to the glass was a bowl of grapes. They looked delicious. Ye Tianxin took some and smelled them.

These grapes seemed to have just been washed not long ago as some were still a bit wet. They put the grapes back to the bowl.

Ye Tianxin licked her dry lips. She wanted to drink and eat, but she was afraid… Who knew what those goons had put into the water or grapes.

“Forget it.” Ye Tianxin sighed.

Ye Tianxin got on the bed again. She thought about how she was on the phone with Jing Zhichen the entire time.

She believed that, by now, Jing Zhichen had already told Li Qingcang about what happened to her.

She was confident that they would look for her.

Regarding Li Qingcang’s abilities, she had much confidence in them.

“Open your eyes,” the man spoke again. “We are going to watch a show.”

On the wall facing Ye Tianxin’s bed, an electronic display suddenly appeared.

It wasn’t very big. It was around 19 inches in size.

Small pictures were displayed on the screen. Ye Tianxin looked at the electronic display screen and saw Li Qingcang.

Li Qingcang was disappointed that it was taking them too much time to go through the footage. Ye Tianxin might already be transferred to another location by the time they finished checking all footage.

“I want to directly search for her.”

Many villas could be found among the green trees.

Under the street lamp on the side of the road, there were moths.
