The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 292

…This then furtherly boosted their desire to come the next day…
For most, they wanted to see what the end result of this ruckus was, whilst for the rest, they just wanted to see some fast paced, action filled, divine abilities blasting against one another with total violence and watch how the challengers defeat their opponents with the most savage nonchalance and impunity…
[Damn! That's what I am looking to see too…]
Meanwhile back within the empty arena, Min Hong was currently so angry that the space around him was rippling, followed by cackling lightning snakes blitzing all over his body;
"Do you think I won't murder you just because you're a Grand Elder!?"
Min Hong bellowed lowly as he looked at the First and Second Grand Elder with eyes dyed red out of pure fury…
"Little Kid, mind your tongue!"
The fourth grand elder yelled from what he felt was a safe distance, and the moment that happened, Min Hong spat to the side and the space in that area rippled open as all the Sect Leaders and Elders in the area gasped in shock;
"Did he just tear open the space with his spittle!?"
In as much as they saw what he did, someone just had to ask the question so that the rest of them won't think they were all seeing things;
"I think I didn't properly discipline you the last time, little fourth…"
Min Hong smiled, but the more he smiled, the fiercer the lightning which had been falling on the protective barrier covering the arena became…
Boom!
Min Hong literally erupted, and in the blink of a breath, he had already made his way over to the fourth grand elder who could only see a fist approaching him with a momentum that was enough to stop a freight train;
"Hmph!"
The Sect Leader of the Desert Sun Sect who was initially caught off guard by Min Hong's speed which was already bordering on what only a 2 Star Saint stage expert could achieve, snorted and simply waved his sleeves, and the space in front of the fourth elder solidified like a brick wall…

But just as the Sect Leader thought he had protected the fourth grand elder, Min Hong's voice drifted over;
"Void Breaker!"
Bang! Crack! Boom! Splurt! Min Hong punched through the solidified spatial wall like it was a wall of tofu and his punch still packed enough power to not only send the fourth grand elder flying but actually bore a fist sized hole through his chest…
"You dare!?"
The second grand elder bolted towards Min Hong who simply flicked his wrist and brought out a silvery bow, and the moment this bow surfaced, the second grand elder's heart trembled as he ground himself to an abrupt halt…
Though he didn't know why, but something within him didn't want Min Hong to nock that bow…
A similar thing happened to the first and third grand elder who subconsciously took three steps backwards…
Though their actions were subtle, it didn't escape the senses of the Sect Leader, as the fifth elder walked up to Min Hong and actually apologized;
"I apologize on their behalf, Fei Hong… They didn't know what happened and acted only out of instincts…"
"We don't put up the Sect's protective barrier unless we are facing a life threatening problem…"
"But in the case of your partner over there, we had to use it to prevent drawing any unwanted attention…"
The fifth grand elder spoke as he pointed to the unconscious Min Qing who Min Hong had already placed in a transparent but different pocket of space…
It was a technique Min Hong just got from Little Fei, and though it was a grand technique, Min Hong was just being impetuous by using hi spittle to initiate the technique…
"Only animals act on such instincts!" Min Hong refused to back down but his rage subsided a little…
The fifth grand elder breathed a sigh of relief as his eyes was moving between Min Hong's face and the bow in his hand;
"Please, just put that bow away…" He pleaded stunning everyone present including the Sect Leader…

"Fifth, what is the meaning of this?" The sect leader asked with a displeased frown…
What the fifth grand elder just did, in his opinion, was making the sect lose face in the presence of their affiliates…
If the news got out that, an outer court disciple not only broke through his sect leader's techniques, but could also fatally injure a grand elder in the presence of about eight Saint Stage and four Peak Nascent Soul stage experts, their sect would never be able to recover from such a massive ridicule…
But to then actually have to apologize to that same outer court disciple after everything that happened, that would definitely make every member of the Desert Sun Sect hide their faces in public…
"Sect Leader, I would explain everything to you later, but let's just end everything here for now…"
The fifth grand elder explained as he looked back to Min Hong and spoke;
"You can stop with the lightning too…" He spoke calmly…
Hu! Min Hong took in a deep breath and let it all out along with his boiling rage and the raging lightning calmed along with Min Hong's fury...
"Don't just stand there! Take fourth to the resurrection hall!"
The fifth grand elder bellowed at the elder who had just presided over the 'War God Trials', as the man hurried towards the unconscious fourth grand elder, which only made everyone around grow curiously interested in Min Hong…
"Young Fei Hong, you have been wronged today, and I am willing to pay for whatever damage we've caused…"
The fifth grand elder continued and the sect leader also said nothing allowing his partner to finish up whatever it was he was doing, before giving him a proper explanation…
If the explanation wasn't good enough, then he would just have to bring up the matter once again and dish out punishments to whoever he felt deserved it, but one thing was constant in his mind, and that is the fact that, no matter what transpires here today, Min Hong would still be punished for rendering a grand elder useless and unconscious…
"I don't want any payments, just tell your rabid dogs to look before they bite, lest they lose their fangs!"
Min Hong spoke as everyone present couldn't tell whether it was a warning or threat, and just as the thought crossed their minds, Min Hong added;
"That's not a threat, it's a promise…"
Then he turned around and went to carry the unconscious Min Qing in a princess-like manner;
"We will be ready to continue challenging the trials tomorrow…"
He said as the fifth elder looked over to the sect leader who was so angry but calm.
"Hmph!"
The sect leader glared at the fifth grand elder before flying out of the arena whilst Min Hong flapped wings made out of lightning alone and bolted towards his apartment…
"Sorry everyone, the trials would continue tomorrow, but for now, I would like every one of us to keep whatever we have seen or heard here today between us…"
"Don't worry Fifth, no one here would ever speak of today's incident…"
The eerie voice of the Ghost King Sect Leader drifted from beneath his black, smoke cloaked hood…
Then after making sure everyone had left for their respective abodes, the fifth grand elder sighed and shook his head;
"You have handled them perfectly, but you must still give me a solid explanation for what you did today…"
A voice sounded from behind the fifth grand elder causing him to jolt slightly as he turned around to look;
"Sect Leader…" He said with a sigh after confirming who it was that had eerily appeared behind him...

My guild was transported to another world, but I'm just the Illusionist Enchanter
Skyforge, the virtual reality game of the 22nd century. The NPCs were mostly boring cookie cutter characters, but at least the political and military aspects were amazing. A great guild could build their base any way they wished, take over territories by converting the landstones and lead great armies in massive wars - or wager everything in the great arena. Well, but I'm just an enchanter with a secondary illusion skill tree. In other words, I'm totally dependent on my guild. But since thanks to this guild I could play the way I wish I don't mind. After we were all sent to another world I kind of regretted not being able to play god with the others.

Ruins of Dalághast
I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but I'd always been torn between different projects. That's why I decided to dedicate myself to a pretty strict schedule of writing and editing a single chapter every month since the start of 2019. This is an ongoing, work in progress novel that follows a ragtag group of sellswords as they delve into a lost city on the edge of the known world in search of their fortunes. Within, though, they find much more than they ever expected and find themselves in a race against time to unravel a mystery centuries old. For those who want to see my work months earlier than it will be released here, alongside exclusive artwork and other perks, consider supporting me and my work on Patreon. https://www.patreon.com/atlaswrites

Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo and if you are the one who owns it and do not want me to use it, pm me and I'll remove it. Also this is my first novel, I wanna put all the ideas in my head into an actual story so I thought I'd give it a go, constructive criticism is welcome as long as it's helpful. P.s I'm not doing a prologue mainly because all you need to know about how he died is in the Synopsis, I might do a chapter with the council of God's if people want it.
