The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 444

"I will make sure I rip your guts out and send your empty husk of a body down to the abyss of the netherworld!"
Gu Ming bellowed as he looked over to the 160 some Peak Nascent Soul experts who were now laying lifelessly on the ground around him, with expressions that struck fear into Gu Ming himself…
Some had eyes wide in horror, some corpse were so shriveled their bones could turn to dust upon the slightest contact…
Some had nothing left other than the charred image of their bodies before they were vaporized by the blood red bolts of lightning…
For someone as strong and experienced as Gu Ming, he was only able to account for the cause of death of about10 percent of all the dead experts, as for the rest, he couldn't even get the slightest inkling of how they were killed, and that greatly scared him…
Partly because the person who had done this sounded like a little kid, and the stubborn idea that he might have a father, bodyguard or elder sibling somewhere looking after him, and if the little kid was this strong, what about these aforementioned people?
"I will have to find any survivors and find out more about this little kid…"
These were the sort of question that was running through Gu Ming's mind as he turned around and bolted towards the same direction he had approached from with a sense of greater urgency…
About thirty minutes later, Min Hong arrived at the spot where he had told the Pirate Leader to set the flying ship…
He had purposely taken as much time as possible because he wanted to ensure that no one was following him…
"You guys should stay here and lay low, I will communicate any other instructions and information to you when something comes up…"
The Pirate Leader nodded with a bow before Min Hong stepped out of the flying ship and Min Hong watched as a formation within the flying ship was triggered and instantly, the flying ship's color melded with his surroundings with a much greater precision that would put a chameleon and octopus to shame…
Then He scanned the area and after finding no one, He looked towards a certain direction and swapped places with his clone, appearing 15 miles from his previous position in an instant as he headed for the underground hideout…
"Your compatibility with the 'Nightmare Aberration' is getting better and better… You could even cast it with a simple glance at your opponent…"
Little Fei commented after Min Hong had covered a 60 mile distance in just 4 seconds;

"Yeah I know, but I still don't feel comfortable with the fact that I need to lock gaze with the expert before it can work…"
Min Hong muttered as he glided through the night, cool sky with nonchalance and leisure…
"True, and kudos Little Fei for the blood red lightning ability… It was really easy to use and very powerful as well…" Daniel chipped in;
"I don't think it is too powerful because you can only kill experts below your total battle power with it, anyone on equal battle power would simply receive a little damage, and it won't be fast enough to touch an expert stronger than your total battle prowess…"
Little Fei added as Min Hong drifted through the darkening night sky…
"Furthermore, we manage to only spend 10 percent of our energy on the battle, and though it was because all those experts total battle prowess were only at the Peak Nascent Soul level, otherwise, I might have had to spend more…" Min Hong added;
"Yeah, but don't forget you were also using only half your strength to power your attacks, otherwise, we could have ravaged them like hungry wolves amongst a herd of sheep…"
Daniel consoled with a smiling tone as Min Hong began to slow down slightly;
"You guys have noticed it right?"
Min Hong asked and Daniel and Little Fei responded with their intents as the trio entered a vigilant mode…
Min Hong looked around, and what he had earlier thought was the darkening sky ended up being pitch black smoke that started out as a simple mist, but had now turned into plumes of smoke that were hindering Min Hong's vision…
He activated his 'Savvy Domain' technique but was stunned to realize that the span the technique covered which was his range of spirit sense had been drastically reduced, and he was barely able to see or sense anything further than half a kilometer away from him, and this greatly alarmed Min Hong…
This was the first time in his life that Min Hong had been in a life threatening disadvantage, and he could do nothing about it…
But just as he was scanning the area around him, Min Hong whipped out Little Lin and Little Bing, as they took his flanks, protecting him from both sides, and before long, Min Hong had transformed and released all his power before peaking at a 7 Start Nirvana/Samsara stage battle power due to the influence of the boos that came from both staffs…
He unlocked every shred of power, technique and ability he had as his ears picked a subtle interference in the energies around him, and this was due to the fact that his 'Clairvoyant' ability had been triggered, and Min Hong's spiritual sense had been made extremely sensitive…

When he intercepted this ripple, he heard;
"Third Formation Activate – Xi Tai Battle Link!"
"Spirit Sense!?" Min Hong's brows shot up in surprise;
"Did I just intercept a spirit transmission?" Just as his thoughts began to stray, Little Fei bellowed;
"The mists around you is distracting your thoughts! Stay focused!"
"Behind you!" Daniel bellowed, but Min Hong was just too late;
Bang!
Kacha!
Blergh!
Boom!
Min Hong felt something slam into him with the force of a comet, whilst sensing his spinal cord shattering into shards as he actually spat out a mouthful of blood which had chunks of his organs within them; then he was sent about 10 meters deep into the earth where he threw up another three mouthfuls of fresh blood…
Creak!
Crack!
Pop!
Min Hong's regenerative capabilities kicked in instantly as he began to feel the shards of his spine that had shatter begin to heal themselves, but due to the extent of the injury, it would at least take him 5 solid days to completely heal from this attack…
He had barely spent two seconds within the pit he had yet to stand up from when he saw a about three hundred concentrated basketball sized fireballs begin to rain into the hole, he tried to use his 'Omnipresence' technique, but the smoke around befuddled his sight and senses, and as a result, he was unable to select a specific destination where his clone would appear…
But being as stubborn as he was, Min Hong raised up his hand before and just as he was about to summon a bit of his Qi;
Blergh!
He spat out another mouthful of blood as his life force for the first time in his life waned and flashed slightly before his eyes…
Min Hong quickly brought out four eye grade spirit stone as he absorbed their energies via his left hand and summoned a 'Black Hole' with his right hand, he vigorously absorbed the energy within the spirit stones as his black hole expanded till it covered his body, but contrary to his expectation, these fireballs weren't meant to hit him, instead they began to explode at close proximity…
Boom! Boom!
Bang!
Boom! Boom!
The black hole shattered and about three of these fire balls exploded on Min Hong with the power level of a Peak Nirvana/Samsara stage expert…
Min Hong was totally helpless and scared…
He had not even seen the person who was attacking him yet and the expert had almost ended his life with just two simple techniques; just a third attack, and Min Hong was very certain he would lose his life inside this pit he had been unable to get out of, and as if jinxing himself, Min Hong saw a blue lighting descend from the sky and streaked directly towards him…
Min Hong had no time to do much as he simply wrapped Little Fei and Daniel with a portion of Spirit Sense, before launching them out of his body after covering them with Oblivion Dao aura;
Kaboom! Bang!
The human sized pit Min Hong was currently laying in war ripped apart and instantly he was blasted into nothing other than blood and gore, then about five minutes later, a miniature Dao Tree with about eight different branches protruding out of it floated out of the rocks and debris where Min Hong previously was…
Then in just two seconds, two experts appeared at the pit as they stared at the miniature Dao Tree in awe;
"This kid is one super talented monster!" One of the two experts who was a very old man with skinny appearance, long white hair and grey colored beards exclaimed in a hoarse voice…
He already looked 75 in terms of physical appearance, and one didn't need to think too much to predict his real ages; he was truly an old ghost…
"Yeah, another one bites the dust…" The second expert who was much younger than the first one added;
"It's a real pity… 7 Star Nascent Soul stage at such a tender age… He makes me want to spank all the younger generations in my clan…"
"Yeah, they only know how to raise their shoulders, brag and bully others whenever they move half an inch on the path of cultivation… Aiyoo, only Huoyi knows what our younger generations are turning into…"
"But how come he doesn't have a Dao Tree?" The much younger figure who was wearing a sky blue robe asked once again....
The old expert also looked at Min Hong's mangled body with befuddled expression;
"Xi Kong, I think the Kirin dragon must have shattered his Dao Tree."
"I don't think so Old Man Bai; otherwise, how would we explain a 7 Star Nascent Soul stage expert possessing a Peak Saint Stage battle prowess?" Xi Kong asked with a befuddled but curious frown...

EDIT: Hello, as you can tell this story is dropped. reason why this is the case is that I really didn't know where I was going to take this story and really, I wasn't satisfied with how I was writing here. However I am currently writing a completely new story and with it is that I am taking some aspects from here and using the ideas on my new story. New characters, new ideas, new plot, everything is completely new. So I hope that goes well and i'll leave this story up as reference for me in the future. Thank you Akani Kizuato. An 18 year old that recently started to live on his own to get away from life. With his sister and father dead from the wars as they fought in, he tried to continue life and tried not to let it get in his way. It may seem that way but with his whole life planned out, it may not seem to be. He had been rejected from all universities within the nation despite being top of his class, which is very unusual because even local colleges rejected him. It was as if he was banned to go to any of those places but uknowingly why. As he ranted, and relieved stress on the school rooftop, he had received an email from an anonymous source saying that he was accepted into some academy, which he had never heard of before. With events that lead up to his mysterious encounter with people who are there to take him, it may be quite a ride. Cover art made in Adobe Spark.

Body Modifier: Energy Required
Aria ate a fish. [Energy: 2] Finished, he ate another fish. [Energy: 2] ... [Energy: 3] Without realizing it, he had finished 5 fishes. He felt a little bloat, he lay down with a full stomach, occasionally burped. Even though he didn't want to be a big lump of meatball, he still had to keep eating. At least until he found another way to accumulate energy. After all, if he didn't take advantage of his advantages, wasn't that stupid? His mind then drifted imagining which one he would use the energy for. Should he use it on his eyes, so it shot a beam of laser, like a certain bespectacled mutant? Should he use it on his bones, so it regenerated infinitely, like a certain character from an anime? Should he use it on his brain, so he became a genius, like a scientist with a bald head? Or should he use it on his vital organ, so that he became the manliest person in the world? While he was imagining things, suddenly his ears felt pinched. "Ouch!" "Didn't mom already say you can't play with fire, you brat?!" There he realized, knowing that no matter what he chose, he was still a child in front of his mother.
